The Scrapped Watchman is another level as bosses go and to take him down you will either need to be incredibly skilled, have spent hours and hours grinding out levels or summon the Spectre from the Crack’s Calling next to the boss gate for 1 Star Fragment. Star Fragments drop fairly frequently throughout Chapter 2 so you will have a few as long as you have been collecting the loot as you make your way through the area.
One of the things that makes the Scrapped Watchman so difficult to fight is the range he has along with the fact his moves just track you wherever you are, even dodging at the last second or backing up as many times as I could I would still repeatedly take hit after hit and tanking hits at this point in the game isn’t a viable option for victory so go in light whilst ensuring you have some form of electrical offence as robots are weak to the element.
Every so often the Scrapped Watchman will go into a frenzy throwing left and right hooks at you, these aren’t the hardest moves to avoid given their short range so dodge behind then capitalise on the opening ensuring you conserve some stamina to back away when he spins around and comes at you again. This is a very relentless fight which in the second half gets a lot tougher due to the constant lightning and electric discharge you are pelted with.
When the Watchman raises up and swings his arms around wildly whether normally or enraged you need to get out of there which is why I recommend bringing in a summon for this one. as having that small window where you’re not being pelted will give you enough of an opportunity to heal then unleash Fable Arts on him until you eventually bring him down.
