The Atoned is a Stalker who you need to choose the right moment to fight, the first time you get through Moonlight Town you will come to a cable car which has a lady standing to the right who asks you who you are. On your first playthrough which is your lie playthrough you need to refer choose the “Give the Stalker’s greeting” option. You receive the Stalker’s Greeting Gesture once you take down the Survivor boss in the Venigni factory.
After riding the cable car up, follow through to the Cathedral then refer to the St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel shortcut to save a lot of hassle in getting around the beams more than once. Clear out the enemies as you go and take down the Fallen Archbishop Andreus boss where you can then go back to Moonlight Town and revisit the cable car.
Upon getting close to the cable car and with the Archbishop defeated the Atoned will aggro straight away so ensure you go in at full health with a good amount of resources as the Atoned can hit very hard and multiple times so it can easily catch you off guard. She wields a pickaxe style hammer with ease and she shows her strength whenever you catch a charged punch to the chest.
Use the space in the area to your advantage backing away when she starts swinging and getting back in there as she recovers before backing away again so you don’t catch a punch. Use Fable Arts to build up a Fatal then keep pressure until you manage to bring her down.
