Here is the Lies of P The Story of the Refined Old Lady trophy guide which will help you find out about the last story of Antonia, the owner of Hotel Krat who has contracted the Petrification Disease and is someone who is set for a painful, gruesome death if we don’t help her.
Lady Antonia’s story won’t begin until after you have taken down the Romeo, King of Puppets boss, however, there are several elements you should complete before hand which aren’t related but they are linked to Antonia.
You can find all of these missable elements by referring to the Lies of P Story Progression Essentials guide.
Ensure you collect the Show off Clothes gesture at the start of the game then proceed through to Chapter 6 where Antonia’s story will properly begin. As a standard rule, any time you see Lady Antonia’s Avatar appear next to the Hotel Krat fast travel point, ensure you speak to her exhausting her dialogue. You can also refer to our Lies of P Story Lies and Truths guide to learn how you should answer on your first and subsequent playthroughs.
Work through the game until the Romeo, King of Puppets boss is defeated in Chapter 6 then go and speak with Lady Antonia who will ask you if she has any beauty left. On your first playthrough which is your Lie Playthrough you need to answer with the “Of course” dialogue option.
Next up go through the game to the Chapter 7 biome Grand Exhibition Gallery and take down the Champion Victor boss ensuring you find Belle in the rafters beforehand as you need her for a different element of the game.
With Champion Victor defeated you can then go and speak with Polendina who will let you know about a Cure which is rumoured to cure the Petrification disease. Either fast travel to the Chapter 5 Malum District Town Hall or run back up and around through the Hotel to Giangio who you can speak to.
Task Giangio with making a cure for Antonia despite the risks which will give you the Cure for Antonia. Take the cure back to Polendina then choose the “Use the cure” dialogue option then fast travel to any biome and travel back to Hotel Krat.
Speak with Lady Antonia who will thank you for helping her saying how well she feels.
From here you then need to work through the Barren Swamp biome and defeat the Puppet-Devouring Green Monster boss then follow the path through to the now over-run Krat Central Station Platform. Rest at the Stargazer then fast travel to Hotel Krat where you can speak with Antonia again.
Your character will play a tune on the piano after being complimented on how handsome he is which then affords you the Greet Gesture as well as a Radiant Ergo Fragment.
Speak with Polendina where he will say he feels something akin to love for Antonia which I did once I was in the process of returning the Sturdy Krat Supply Box (refer to the Krat Supply Boxes). I am not sure if this step is definitely required but I wanted to mention it just in case and given the fact you need to return the box anyway I would rather state it than omit if from the guide.
Once you have defeated the Corrupted Parade Master boss you will be able to regain access to the Hotel where you will learn the Black Rabbit Brotherhood and several of their companions have ransacked the Hotel and made off with Geppetto.
You will then need to go up to the first floor after speaking with Sophia where you can then open the door leading through to Geppetto’s Quarters. Speak to Lady Antonia where she will describe the harrowing attack which will unlock the Anger Gesture.
You now need to work your way through Chapter 11 and defeat the Laxasia the Complete boss where you can then return to Hotel Krat and speak with Polendina who will inform you Lady Antonia has passed away peacefully which will then unlock The Story of the Refined Old Lady.
Ensure you collect the Memory of Beach record from Lady Antonia’s chair in Geppetto’s Quarters after her passing.
