Monster Energy Supercross 4 is the official game of the AMA supercross where you become the Emperor on two wheels, reach prestige level 100 and complete the pro career mode as well as everything else as you race to your two-wheeled Platinum. Here’s a Quick Xp guide to help you level up and earn cash as quickly as you can throughout the game:

Complete a Main Event in a Custom Track created by another player

From the main menu choose single player then event followed by new single event. Now choose any bike class you wish followed by selecting any available rider, choose the track selection option and press R1 until you reach online tracks and select any of these. Now you’re free to start the event and as this is merely a complete race it means your finishing position is irrelevant so keep lapping the track and let the event timer run out then once you cross the finish line to complete the event your Trophy will unlock.

Accept the contract of a Team you asked to join

This is only available in the rookie or professional sections of career mode, during a transfer window you can join a new team via an offer they have given to you or you can approach another team to join. If your reputation is too low you will get rejected immediately and not be able to approach another team until the next transfer window so secure as many podiums and holeshots as possible to help improve your reputation heading into this vital transfer window. Then if your attempt is successful the team will offer you a contract and all you need to do now is accept it to unlock your Trophy.

Get a total of 13 Holeshots in any game mode

A holeshot is defined by being the person who gets the best start out of the gates and reaches a section of track that has a solid white line across it. To perform a holeshot you need too hold L1 which is the clutch and R2 which is the throttle at the same time whilst in the gates then the instant the gates drop release the clutch and accelerate away. On the top of the screen, a holeshot banner will appear shortly after a race start and that confirms you got the holeshot so do this a total of 13 times to unlock your Trophy.

Win a Main Event with the Event Type option set on “The Real Thing”

This can be done on any track in the game and is best done via a single event. Under race options set the event to the real thing and enter the event with any rider and track combination you wish. The real thing sees you take part in a qualifying session first which gives you a seeding going into a heat race so qualify well then in your heat secure a top 9 finish to qualify directly for the main event. With the main event reached it’s now just a matter of winning that race to fulfil all the requirements unlocking your Trophy in the process.

Purchase a total of 10 components for your Rider Customization

In order to purchase customisation items you must first earn credits which is nothing more than securing good results in races and doing this cleanly without using rewinds or crashing to maximise your credits gained. Now from the main menu choose the create tab and rider customisation then choose rider and appearance selecting the accessories sub tab, choosing the option to purchase earrings for your rider as these only cost 5,000sx credits each so buy 10 for a total cost of 50,000sx credits where your Trophy will then unlock.

Complete the Futures chapter in Career Mode

The first chapter in career mode and this sees you compete in only 3 races so use this time to learn how the bike feels and handles on the tracks and once all 3 races are compete regardless of your finishing position, the chapter will end and the rookie chapter will open up.

Complete the Rookie chapter in Career Mode

The second chapter of career mode and this chapter opens up more areas of career mode including sponsor and official team contracts. This chapter takes place over 9 rounds and you need to secure a third place finish or better in the overall championship to unlock the pro chapter of career mode.

Complete the Pro chapter in Career Mode

The third and final chapter of career mode and this chapter sees you move up to the 450 class where you race the full 17 rounds of the championship. You need to secure the overall championship victory to unlock the trophy so it’s recommended you set the event length to the real thing as this gives you time to practice each circuit and also helps towards your progress in the Veteran.

You don’t need to win each and every race just set a bare minimum finishing position of a podium which will see you out score the opposition as they will finish randomly each race. As long as you keep scoring consistently and the AI keeps tripping up over each other the Trophy will unlock after you cross the finish line for the last round of the season.

Reach the podium in 100 Main Events in any mode

Firstly play through the 3 career mode chapters as you will naturally secure podiums. With career mode compete you can press Touchpad to bring up the statistics page which will tell you exactly how many victories you have secured. Although this is not accurate for the number of podiums it will still give you a rough idea of how close you are to the 100 podiums and now it’s just a matter of starting a new single event. Finishing in the top 3 and once you have secured that 100th podium your Trophy will unlock.

Prestige level 100 will require you to amass a total of 9,000,000 EXP Firstly concentrate on completing every challenge that makes up Veteran as this will give you natural level progress as the same time. The game rewards you for you actions on track such as:

  • Holeshot.
  • Clean laps.
  • Laps in the lead.
  • Fast laps.
  • Scrubs.
  • Whips.
 

So choose main menu > event > single event > 450. Under track selection choose online tracks then select any of the quick exp / money tracks. With that done enter and win the race where you will secure over 200,000 EXP per run. This can level you up really quickly and once you reach prestige level 100 your Trophy will unlock.

This can be done either when you setup your custom rider at the start of the game or any time by choosing the create tab from the main menu and then rider customisation. This will come up the custom rider page so choose rider then data before finally scrolling down to gender and selecting woman. With that done save and exit to unlock your Trophy.

You rode for official teams from the start of your rookie career and you will be given a target goal for the upcoming season of finishing in a certain position before the next contract transfer window opens. Simply exceed this goal to unlock your Trophy.

Complete the entire Skill Tree

In order to complete the skill tree you need to unlock the pro chapter of career mode as only in the pro chapter are all skills available to purchase. You unlock skill points by completing the challenges listed in the journal (see Veteran for more information on the journal) and by obtaining 3 stars in each training session. The skill tree has a total of 10 skills and each skill has 6 levels to unlock so that’s a total of 60 skills to acquire. The 10 skills are as follows:

  1. Cornering.
  2. Banking.
  3. Manoeuvres.
  4. Quickness.
  5. Braking.
  6. Handling under braking.
  7. In air control.
  8. Ground control.
  9. Landing.
  10. Establishment.
 

With all skills bought your trophy will unlock immediately.

Take part in at least 10 Extra Events

Extra events occur in career mode in between race weekends, they appear randomly so you can get some mid-week or you may go a couple of races without receiving any at all. These events feature a variety of tasks including finishing first in a sponsor event or performing whips to receive additional rewards. You don’t need to achieve the target just complete the event for it to count. You can track the number of extra events you have participated on via the journal and once you have completed 10 extra events your Trophy will unlock.

Complete all the Training Sessions with the maximum result

Training sessions take place in between race weekends of career mode and each mid week you can participate in a total of 3 sessions. Featuring a total of 50 training sessions all of which are split into 5 different categories which are as follows:

  1. The Lion.
    In this training session you are tasked with overtaking as many opponents as possible within the time limit so do your best and remember; practice makes perfect.
  2. The Surgeon.
    You will see an on-track indicator showing you the racing line, stick on it all the way around the lap to perform the perfect flow on track.
  3. The Showman.
    Pass the marked jumps with either a scrub or whip as indicated on track.
  4. The Lightning.
    Be the quickest to reach the finish line.
  5. The Snake.
    Pass through the largest number of gates before time runs out.
 

Each training session can reward you with a maximum of 3 stars then when you have earnt all 150 stars your Trophy will unlock.

Ride 100 miles (160 km) in offline Free Roaming in the Compound

Choose single player from the main menu and then compound setting the game up however you wish and start the event. The compound is a massive open area map where you are free to roam and or start races and time trials on set parts of the map. For the Traveller trophy it’s the free roaming so just go exploring the map to rack up the mileage and once you exceed the 100 miles your Trophy will unlock.

Play through career mode as you will secure wins through natural progression then if you still haven’t unlocked this Trophy choose single player and single new event from the main menu. Pick any rider you wish and add any of the following tracks as the chosen track:

  • Glendale.
  • Oakland.
  • San Diego.
  • Tampa.
  • Arlington.
  • Atlanta.
  • Daytona Beach.

Beat a Rival in Career Mode in any race

Rivalries are only available in the pro career and with this feature unlocked your given a rival for each race, this rival could be your team mate or someone who is very close to you in the championship standings. You will compete against each other over a race weekend where you can score points over the following 4 aspects of the weekend:

  1. The holeshot.
  2. Finishing position.
  3. Best lap time.
  4. Least amount of falls.
 

As long as you secure the better results your Trophy will unlock during the rivalry screen.

Save a custom Bike Setup

Go onto any race event and when you have selected your stating gate position you will be given the option to start the event or you can alter the bike setup. In the bike setup menu adjust any of the default settings then press Square to bring up the setup management screen and press Cross on any of the empty slot, with that saved your Trophy will then unlock.

Change the colour of the nickname on the suit of your custom rider

Choose the create tab from the main menu then select rider customisation followed by pre-sets. Now choose either the 250 or 450 class and press Cross on the current pre-set. Now choose rider and press R1 until you reach the nickname colour tab and choose any colour from this section to unlock your trophy.

Complete an Official Championship of any class in Championship mode

Choose the single player tab from the main menu and then select championship. You’re now free to choose whichever bike class you want and and bike / rider combination. Start the championship and at the conclusion of the last race your Trophy will unlock regardless of your results.

The holeshot is defined by being the person who gets the best start out of the gates and reached a section of track that has a solid white line across it. With that done it’s just a matter of securing the race win so if your struggling do this around a custom made online track where it has less jumps to contend with and once you have both parts, your Trophy will unlock.

Complete a total of at least 100 scrubs

A scrub is where you travel over a jump whilst scrubbing off as much air as possible this can be performed over most of the bigger jumps on any track in the game, simply move L3+R3 towards or away from each other to perform a scrub. If successful a banner will appear at the top of the screen telling you that a scrub has been performed so now repeat this 100 times to unlock your Trophy.

Beat the time of the Ghost of another player in Time Attack mode

Choose single player from the main menu then select event and time attack. Now in the time attack menu select any of the bike classes you wish, then select any rider you want and then any track. Now you can either enter the time attack and set a slow and steady lap or whilst still in the menu press R1 to bring up the online leaderboard, if you set a slow and steady lap you can pick a guide time around this so you know on a faster lap you will beat the ghost or just can just scroll down to the bottom of the leaderboard and compete against the slowest game lap set by another user. Either method is fine so go to the track and beat the ghost time to unlock your Trophy.

Complete at least two SX Challenges of the SX Profile

The SX profile found by pressing Touchpad then R1 until you reach the far right tab which has a total of 4 challenges for you to complete and are as follows:

  1. The Key: Compete the journal 100% in career mode.
  2. The Master: Obtain all abilities in career mode.
  3. The King: Reach the podium in 30 multiplayer events.
  4. The Millionaire: Earn 5 million sx credits.
 

You will get this trophy whilst going for the Platinum as 2 of the challenges are associated to trophies in the game which are completing “the key” when going for Veteran and you will unlock “the master” whilst going for The Rock in career mode.

Complete a lap with the Dynamic Flow Aid activated

Choose Single player and event from the main menu then in the race options tab scroll down to the bottom and turn dynamic flow on then enter the event. With dynamic flow on the game will guide you on the best route around the track so just complete the first lap of your chosen race and the Trophy will unlock once you cross the finish line.
