This guide will help you through all 50 trophies in the game as you work towards Ultimate Motocross Rider, the online trophies are fortunately very simple to complete and won’t require any other players to be online.

Road to the Platinum:

MXGP 2021 has the main bulk of its trophies housed within career mode and in this mode you will need to play through at least 2 seasons securing the championship in the process, after this you will need to tackle online crested tracks to reach prestige level 100 and earn the 300k credits needed for those repetitive trophies.

Ultimate Motocross Rider
Unlock all trophies.

Earn the other 50 trophies throughout MXGP 2021 to unlock Ultimate Motocross Rider.

A fortune
Get a total of 300,000 MX Credits.

You will earn credits naturally by taking part in a minimum of 2 full championship seasons in career mode and for each level up you will receive bonus credits so this trophy will unlock en route to Success is not for everyone.

Success is not for everyone
Reach Prestige level 100.

Complete all other trophies in MXGP 2021 first as this is all natural progress towards prestige level 100 then participate in a custom time trial event around any of the community created quid cash / XP tracks.

Each lap you complete in trial mode earns you XP so keep lapping these short tracks until you reach prestige level 100.

Champion!
Win an MXGP Championship in Career mode.

Staring out in the junior MX2 class you must first secure a top 3 finish in this championship standings to then unlock the MXGP category.

With the MXGP category unlocked you need to race and perform well around all the 14 events that make up the calendar, wins help maximise how many points you score but consistent finishes will keep the points rolling in and as long as you keep braking the opponent who is second in the standings you will maintain the lead.

Then after the final race of the season with enough points to win the championship this trophy will then unlock.

Who dares to challenge me?
Complete all Career Challenges.

MXGP features a total of 10 career challenges and each challenge unlocks after winning 2 events so play through career mode until you have 20 event wins.

Dust and sweat
Complete a race with race length set to Realistic.

Start a quick race and in the race options tab set the length to realistic now start the event.

A realistic race distance is 30 minutes +2 laps and thankfully this is just a complete so you can take your time and cross that finish line to secure this trophy regardless of your finishing position.

Greed
Get a total of 200,000 MX Credits.

Like a dragon
Cover 30 km – 18.64 mi in Free Roaming in the Playground.

The playground also known as the compound in MXGP 2021 takes us to the Welsh countryside.

In this mode you can ride your bike and go where you want without any track boundaries or limits and it comes with a trophy for covering 18 miles so it’s best to find some long and flat pieces of track that you can ride back and forth until you hit the mileage required.

Lucky in the rain
Finish first in a race with the weather set to Rain in any game mode.

This can be done in a quick race around any of the tracks in the game just set the weather to rainy in the game options tab before you start the event.

With rainy weather, the track is very slippery so this could take a couple of attempts to get used to how the bike handles. Feel free to restart the race if needed until you get a feel for the conditions.

Take the win in rainy weather to unlock your Trophy.

Dueler
Complete a Career Challenge.

No more training wheels
Complete a lap without falling on any track and in any game mode.

Holeshot Master
Get 10 Holeshots in any game mode.

The Holeshot is defined by being the person who gets the best starts out of the gates and into the first corner of a race.

You can track your total number of hole shots by pressing the touchpad from the main menu and then pressing L1 to bring up your career stats.

To perform a Holeshot you need too hold L1 which is the clutch and R2 which is the throttle at the same time whilst in the gates then the instant the gates drop, release the clutch and accelerate away.

Once you cross the white painted line across the track normally immediately after the first corner look on the left side of the game screen and a name will appear of the hole shot winner so do this 10 times in total to unlock this trophy.

A feast of points
Get a Holeshot and finish first in the same race.

The Holeshot is the rider who gets the fastest start out of the traps, look at the left hand side of the screen shortly after a race start to make sure you got the Holeshot, if not, restart the race until you do get it.

Next up is the race win which can be done on any track in the game, with the win secured and Holeshot achieved at the start of the race this trophy will then unlock.

A profile to envy
Reach Prestige level 50.

Master of the weekend
Reach the first position in all sessions in a race set to a Full weekend.

A full weekend consists of a total of 4 sessions which are:

Qualifying Time Trial.
Qualifying Race.
Race 1.
Race 2.

Choose quick modes from the main menu followed by Grand Prix. Choose race options and alter race sessions to full weekend.

All other settings are personal preference but I suggest very easy difficulty just to be safe that you will be much quicker than the AI.

Start the weekend and proceed to secure first place on every session, at the conclusion of the second and final race this trophy will then unlock.

Face to face
Win 3 Duels.

After career mode races you will occasionally receive an invitation to a duel from a fellow competitor, firstly you need to accept the duel then in a duel you will race off against the opponent who sent the invitation, simply win 3 of these head to head races.

Turkey MX race
Win a Grand Prix at Afyonkarahisar in any game mode.

One of 14 tracks on the 2021 race calendar so play through career mode first as you can and will encounter this circuit on the calendar or could race around it via a duel.

Should you not have this trophy unlocked by the end of your career mode play through a quick race and set the track as Afyonkarahisar then race around until you secure the victory and unlock this trophy.

PortuCross
Win a Grand Prix at Legacy – Agueda in any game mode.

One of 4 legacy tracks in the game, you can race around this track via a duel invitation in career mode.

Should you not have this trophy unlocked by the end of your career mode play through start a quick race and set the track as Legacy – Agueda then race around until you secure the victory and unlock this trophy.

Motocross between Gatos
Win a Grand Prix at Intu Xanadù – Arroyomolinos in any game mode.

Slow motion maniacs
Start replay at the end of a race in any game mode.

Once a race is over you will get a replay option during the results screen so press Triangle to start the replay and unlock your trophy.

MX Art Nouveau
Win a Grand Prix at Kegums in any game mode.

University of Motocross
Win a Grand Prix at Legacy – Ottobiano in any game mode.

One of 4 legacy tracks in the game, you can race around this track via a duel invitation in career mode, it also features as one of the career challenge Grand Prix locations so can be done that way.

Should you not have this trophy unlocked by the end of your career mode play through start a quick race and set the track as then race around Legacy – Ottobiano until you secure the victory and unlock this trophy.

Nothing ventured
Complete a race without using Rewind.

Go to the settings prior to an offline race and turn rewinds to off then enter and complete the race to unlock this trophy.

Is that all?
Win a race with AI Difficulty level set to Realistic.

From the main menu choose quick modes then Grand Prix, add any track you wish but I recommend a community made short track like the fast XP track as this makes your life much easier.

Set the race to quick with rewinds on so you can correct minor mistakes, with the AI set to realistic they will be very quick and not make mistakes as such so adding a qualification session is a good idea to get a better position in the start gate.

All you can do is race as smooth as possible and keep the AI behind you as if they overtake it’s hard to get back past them, use rewinds and as much race craft as you can, don’t worry about restarting as this is just a matter of reaching the finish line for the win and once this has been achieved, your trophy will unlock.

That’s the way you do it!
Win a race without falling and without using Rewind.

From the main menu choose quick modes and Grand Prix, in race options you want to turn off rewind just to be safe that you don’t catch the button by mistake turn weather to clear and set the AI difficulty to very easy.

You’re free to use whichever track you like to, however, I recommend the community made quick XP tracks as these tracks tend to be is very flat and easy, giving you less chance of falling off.

Start the race carefully making your way to the front of the pack and circulate around maintaining your lead but also be careful not to push too hard and risk a dodgy landing, also take each corner with care not to cut the corner and risk a reset to the track.

Let the clock run down then complete the final 2 laps of the race to unlock your trophy.

Do it yourself
Create and share a track with the Track Editor.

From the main menu choose track editor > create track.

Now choose any location and let the editor load up, in track editor you can add any track components you wish but you have to adhere to key elements which are a starting gate, a finish line and enough straights and corners so the track can be circumnavigated on a lap basis.

With these elements complete you can press Triangle to validate the track which sees the AI drive a lap and when validated by the AI you can name your track and share it online to unlock this trophy.

A MX rider at Snowdonia
Cover 15 Km – 6.21 mi in Free Roaming in the Playground.

Advanced riding
Win a race with physics level set to Advanced.

Choose quick modes then Grand Prix from the main menu, you’re free to choose which track you want to race around, under the race options set the physics level to advanced, with all other settings can be personal preference.

With all that done you’re free to enter the race, then with advanced physics enabled the bike will feel very sensitive to every turn you make on track and to how you attack any of the natural jumps on a track.

It’s recommended you set the AI level to very easy as that way you can make mistakes and still go on to win the race at which point your trophy will unlock.

My sweetheart!
Purchase any bike for the first time.

From the main menu choose customisation and new pre-set now select bike and finally a model.

Here you will be able to see the list of available models for you to buy so simply select one and with the purchase complete your trophy will then unlock.

On the way to the points
Complete a Waypoint race.

Choose playground from the main menu and let it load up, now pause the game and select any waypoint and load that up.

When at the waypoint location press and hold Square to bring up the waypoint menu then select waypoint route and choose any route.

Now ride this route and once you cross the finish line choose the option proceed to unlock this trophy.

Tourist riding
Create and share a Waypoint track.

Choose playground from the main menu and select any rider and load up the playground.

Now pause your game and highlight a waypoint and select it to load it up, follow this by pressing Square to open up the waypoint menu and choose the option create waypoint.

Ride around the map pressing R3 to access the waypoint menu and place a minimum of 5 checkpoints before adding a finish line.

With a finish line placed the game will ask to to validate the waypoint so ride your waypoint and then follow the linear steps to giving your waypoint a name before selecting the option to publish it online.

Clean lap
Complete a valid lap in Time Attack.

Choose quick modes then time attack from the main menu, select any track you wish and start the event.

Set a valid lap which means you can not cut corners or reset to the track so just take your time and once you set a valid time your trophy will unlock.

Time to fly!
Perform a Scrub in any game mode.

A scrub is a mid air stunt you can perform so on any track when you reach the big jumps press Left+L3 and Right+R3 immediately after gaining air to perform the scrub and once you land successfully your trophy will unlock

Not a bad profile
Reach Prestige level 25.

Set up
Save your bike’s setup for the first time.

When in a race session you can either start the race or for the Set up trophy choose bike setup and alter any of the settings then save and exit to unlock your trophy.
