Real hired gun
Unlock every other trophy

Headache
You have killed 100 enemies with a headshot
Headshots should come naturally as you go through the game, they’re easy kills after all. Some enemies will take a few shots to the head. Especially if they’re augmented so focus on getting the headshots on the standard human enemies and you’ll have 100 done soon enough. Turn aim assist on in the options menu if you’re struggling.

Sadistic
You have performed 100 Takedowns
You can perform takedowns when you’re close to an enemy by pressing Square. Certain enemies will need their health beating down before you can perform a takedown but you’ll have a feel for this soon enough.

The Bounty
Finish Chapter 1
Story related and cannot be missed. Complete the opening mission.

The Captive
Finish Chapter 2
Story related and cannot be missed. Proceed through the train to the end, where you will need to use the Grapnel to traverse up to the out of reach areas above you (look for the green beacons) then commandeer the train to complete Chapter 2.

The Beast
Finish Chapter 3
Story related and cannot be missed. You are caught in the middle of a warzone so kill who you have to and run to the mission marker, get through to the end of the area and take everyone out to complete the mission.

The Ambush
Finish Chapter 4
Story related and cannot be missed. This can be a bit challenging if you’re under prepared so customise your weapons / strengthen your self / upgrade your Mastiff as much as you can then go in and get ready for an intense battle. Escape up the ladder when the marker becomes available to complete the mission.

The Escape
Finish Chapter 5
Story related and cannot be missed. Escape through the complex and take out the boss then head through to the back area, use the console to move the floor in front of the bed and head up through the elevator taking out all of the enemies to complete the mission.

The Siege
Finish Chapter 6
Story related and cannot be missed. Head through taking out the enemies and there are a lot of enemies in this mission. Once inside the Citadel kill every female that appears to complete the mission.

The Dark
Finish Chapter 7
Story related and cannot be missed. Make your way through the area collecting the batteries as you go to power the machine which opens the gates. At the end once you open the door to the exit just run for it as a never ending wave of enemies will spawn.

The Stair
Finish Chapter 8
Story related and cannot be missed. Continue through the mission to where you need to find the container using the coordinates in the control room. I had to find “container 77” which was located in A>2>I, you’re told the container is marked, here’s an image of what the mark looks like as it’s a random placement rather than a fixed location.
Once you have located the container, use the coordinates to correspond with the container’s location. There is a 3 x 3 grid of lasers which represent a different section, going from left to right is A,B,C and from the back of the room to the front is 1,2,3 then the container’s on the floor have this which is a double β symbol or a † type symbol for containers stacked on another container.
Line the coordinates up on the 3 wheels then hold down Square on the console to try grab the container. If you fail, there will be a lot of enemies coming for you so have a good look before hand. Once you have found the container, deal with the enemies then head up the elevator. Take out the Ambots to complete the mission.

The Meeting
Finish Chapter 9
Story related and cannot be missed. Open the gate at the start of the mission by finding the batteries, placing them in the generator then activating the hydraulics. Go through navigating your way up through the area taking out the enemies as you go to the meeting spot. The boss in this level sends unending waves of powerful dogs at you. Upgrade your own Mastiff to deal with them more effectively and focus fire on the boss. Take him down to complete the mission.

Gang War
Finish Chapter 10
Story related and cannot be missed. Bring a plasma weapon with you to help you get through this one as at the end nearly every enemy has a powerful shield, the plasma weapon rips through shields making it a lot more manageable. Clear out all of the enemies and make your way to the extraction point to complete the mission.

The Scent
Finish Chapter 11
Story related and cannot be missed. Place all 5 bombs then go through and take down the boss who has a massive health pool. Even with +2 weapons, I nearly ran out of ammo in every gun. Bring some powerful weaponry with you and try to ignore the Ambots, focusing fire on the boss herself. There is a terminal on the lower level of the boss area you can use during the fight to replenish your stims. Take her down to complete the mission.

Martyr’s End
Finish Chapter 12
Story related and cannot be missed. Head through the area taking out the underside of the bridge then go into the last area, take out every enemy and go through to Martyr’s End to complete the mission.

The Past
Finish the Main Campaign
Story related and cannot be missed. Ensure you are seriously augmented at the Rogue Doc focusing on health upgrades and whatever else you can afford as the last mission is a nasty one. Stay behind the pillars and take everyone down to complete the mission.

Additional income
Finish your first secondary mission
As you complete the story missions, you will unlock secondary missions which are ranked B-S on the mission selection terminal. They are a very good source of loot and money. Complete any one secondary mission that is available to unlock your Trophy.

New allies
Fill one faction bar
There are a lot of factions in Necromunda Hired Gun, all of which can be found by going to the mission select terminal then choosing Factions. In order to fill the faction bar you need to complete missions in the B, A or S missions tabs for a particular faction. The faction who posts the contract can be seen in the bottom right of one of the 6 screens. You need to ensure you focus on one faction to raise the relevant bar such as Rogue Factorial, Ministorum, House Delaque etc. Continue running through missions (story Chapters won’t count) until you have filled up a faction bar where your Trophy will then unlock.

Small update
Buy your first upgrade to the Rogue Doc
The Rogue Doc becomes available once you have completed the first mission and you’re introduced to him as part of the story, buy any upgrade to unlock your Trophy.

Still human?
Upgrade one implant to the class 4
To upgrade an implant, go to the Rogue Doc> Bionics and level up any of the following sections to level 4, only the top bar needs to be at level 4, you won’t need to level up every module to level 4 in a specific selection. The categories you have are:
- Arms.
- Luminem.
- Legs.
- Internal.
- Cerebral.
- R. Field.
Once you have levelled one of these categories’ top bars to level 4, your Trophy will unlock.

Gecko’s feet
Wallrun 2500m
There are plenty of opportunities to wall run in Necromunda: Hired Gun. You can either run back and forth on the same bit of wall or progress through the game focusing on the wall running sections until you rack up 2,500 metres.

Now I see you
Take out 50 shields with the grapnel
The Grapnel will be acquired near the end of mission 2 and is required to get pass the shielded guards. You will keep the Grapnel as you progress through the game, ensure you use the Grapnel to pull 50 shields off of the enemies who have them throughout the game by hip-aiming your reticle at the shield then pressing L1 to then pull the shield away from the enemy. Once you have pulled 50 shields away, your Trophy will then unlock.

Who’s the boss now?
Finish a mission with an S rank
An S rank is a rare thing to earn in Necromunda Hired Gun as you need to be flawless in your approach AND open every chest in the level. At the end of a mission you are given 3 ranks which count towards your overall rank, two of the 3 need to be S rank and one needs to be A or S rank to give you an overall S rank. The 3 categories are:
- Kill Style, which depends on how many different weapon types you get kills with so bring a basic, pistol, special and heavy weapon to mix up the kills you perform, switch weapons in between kills when faced with a group of enemies, use your Bionic abilities which can be purchased from the Rogue Doc and accessed by holding R1. Use the dog as well to get kills and mix things up ensuring you get kills whilst wall-running as well as whilst air dashing and jumping.
- Treasure Chests where you need to open every chest in the level. you can learn a chests’ placement in a level by purchasing the Augur Array from the Rogue Doc under Cerebral which sends a pulse out showing you where nearby chests are. Do this a few times through Chapter 1 (the easiest mission to get an S rank) to learn the chests placement.
- Medical and Maintenance. Never use a Medpack or a Stimm during the mission as it will never give you an S rank for doing so.
As long as you’re fast and effective with good variety, get all of the chests and never use a medpack / don’t die you will be well on your way to that S rank.

Death comes from above
Kill 100 enemies while wallrunning
You can wall-run near enough anywhere in the game. Having a shotgun / plasma weapon equipped makes this a lot easier to achieve as they has a good amount of power. Aim for non-shielded enemies and take them out. You can rinse and repeat Chapter 1, Kaerus if you need to defeating the enemies that appear out of the 5 doors before raising the floor by wall running and shooting. There are bionic upgrades available from the Rogue Doc in Martyr’s End that allow you to wallrun better so purchase them if you’re struggling.

Treasure hunt
Open 20 chests
There are a lot of chests in the game, you should easily find 20 of them just by having a look around the levels. Using the Augur Array (Rogue Doc> Bionics> Cerbral> Cerebral Implant Level 2> Augur Array) you can scan the area where you will see chests’ locations through the walls. Using the Augur Array, you will have a much easier time collecting the chest. Level it up to level 4 to increase the range and decrease the cooldown considerably. Once you have opened your 20th chest, your Trophy will unlock.

Weapons lover
Kill an enemy with every weapon
There are a lot of weapons in Necromunda Hired Gun which are broken down into various categories. Every weapon can be purchased from the Weapon Dealer (found directly opposite of the Rogue Doc). Below I’ll list the weapons off in their respective categories for the lowest price available (+1 weapons are more powerful and therefore cost more).
You will naturally collect a few weapons as you make your way through the game so either keep track of which weapons you have managed a kill with or just work your way through the list. You will need to complete a Chapter for the kills with that weapon to count towards the trophy so go for this on an easy chapter like Chapter 1.
Pistols
- Epitaph, Sawn Off Shotgun, $492.
- Eshcer’s Kiss, Autopistol, $633.
- Ironfist, Stubgun, $773.
- Scars Machina, Bolt Pistol, $1,470.
- Firebird, Plasma Pistol, $3,003.
Basic
- Pious Legacy, Shotgun, $787.
- VPanther, Autogun, $885.
- Striker, Autogun, $1,116.
- M’MA, Stub Cannon, $1,134.
- Death Bringer, Bolter, $1,873.
- Doghammer, Combat Shotgun, $2,141.
Special
- Funeral Ball, Grenade Launcher, $4,289.
- Burningsun, Plasma Gun, $4,540.
- Wrath, Gravgun, $4,907.
- Hashin’s Eye, Long Las, $7,936.
Heavy
- Tempest, Heavy Stubber, $3,570.
- Iron Rain, Heavy Stubber, $4,034.
- Scatter, Heavy Bolter, $4,343.
It doesn’t matter if what weapon type you get a kill with (standard +1, +2, +3) as long as you successfully kill an enemy with each weapon listed above, your Trophy will unlock.

Who let the dogs out
Kill 30 enemies with your Mastiff
Whenever there are enemies on the screen you can look at one of them and press Circle to send your Mastiff off to take them down. Do this 30 times to unlock your Trophy.

Bionic master
Kill 100 enemies by using Augmetics powers
Your Augmetic Powers are essentially any ability you have purchased from the Rogue Doc and can be found by holding R1. You can purchase Bionics from the Rogue Doc in Martyr’s End, several of which you will need to purchase as you make your way through the trophy list anyway namely the Crush and Blast modules, both of which deal heavy damage to enemies and are a near one-hit kill on any unshielded enemy. Once you have defeated 100 enemies with your augmetic powers, your Trophy will unlock.

The best student
Finish all main missions with a rank of A or more
There are 13 main mission in Necromunda Hired Gun and to finish each mission with an A Rank you need to be quick, effective, use different weapons and skills to take down enemies and find at least half of the treasure chests located in that particular mission. Ensure you have the Augur Array equipped (Rogue Doc> Bionics> Cerebral> Cerebral Implant> Augur Array) where you can send out a pulse showing the chests’ locations that are nearby. Increase the Augur Array to level 4 to extend the range and decrease the cooldown of the Array making this easier and complete every mission finding as many chests as you can, be fast, quick and mix up your combat style to earn an A rank. Do so across all 13 missions (chapters) to unlock your Trophy.

Man’s best friend
Buy an upgrade for your Mastiff
Upgrades for your Mastiff can be bought from the Rogue Doc in Martyr’s End and cost a few hundred credits. Initially, you will be able to buy from 3 categories which are:
- Bionic Head: Increases your Mastiff’s health.
- Bionic Body: Increases your Mastiff’s armour.
- Bionic Paws: Increases your Mastiff’s speed.
Purchase any 1 node from any of the 3 categories to unlock your Trophy.

Who’s a good boy?
Pet your dog in Martyr’s end
In Martyr’s End (the hub you’re in after the first mission), you can find your Mastiff next to your “friend” Kal Jerico. Go up to him and press Square to pet your dog.

Bull’s Eye
Complete the shooting training in Martyr’s End
The shooting training can be found by going up the stairs to the right of where you talk to Meniga Hurrio (weapon dealer), press the button then shoot a series of targets that appear with any weapon (I used the Ironfist pistol). Shoot every target to unlock your Trophy.

Explorer
Find a +3 weapon
The simplest way to find a +3 weapon is to go to the mission select terminal in Martyr’s End. Choose Chapter 1, Kaerus then under the Consumables section (bottom of the loadout screen) purchase the Treasure Map for $12,000 and 3 Ratskin Maps for $3,060 ($1,020 each). Finally, purchase a few Defusers ($250 each) and load into the mission.
Proceed through to the area just pass where you’re introduced to the first Brute, take a right then right again through the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel will be a lot of enemies but more importantly there will be a pipe to your left across a small gap. Jump the gap and go through the pipe where you will find a Golden Chest which hopefully contains a +3 weapon for you.
The Treasure Map increases your chances of rare loot, the Defuser stops a chest from exploding if it has been rigged to explode which also destroys the loot inside, so ensure you have at least one Defuser at all times to save a wasted trip. If there isn’t a +3 weapon in the Golden Chest then complete the mission and go back through again until you find one.

Perfect weapon
Customize every aspect of a single weapon
The cheapest way of doing this is by using the Ironfist. Go to the Mission Select module , choose any mission then press Square to customise your weapon and will cost you anywhere between 10 and 100k depending on the upgrades you go for. For the Ironfist, you need to apply the following upgrades:
- Lucky Charm.
- Archeotechs.
- Muzzles.
- Barrels.
- Laser Sights.
- Internal Mechanism.
- Cylinders.
- Optics.
- Weapon Skins.
The most expensive item here is the weapon skin as they can cost around $80,000. Lucky Charms and Archeotechs you will receive at the end of the missions, just be sure to move them over before selling everything you don’t want and you’ll be able to buy from the relevant screens anything else you need as you go through. Ensure you equip whatever you have bought, then as long as you have changed one thing in every category, your Trophy will unlock.

Banker
Amass 100.000 credits
You will easily have this done by the end of the game. You are free to spend throughout as well which is a bonus, you don’t need to hold 100,000 credits in go the game tracks your total. I unlocked this by the end of mission 7 so you should easily have this done by the end of the game. If you complete the game and it hasn’t unlocked, repeat a few missions until it does.

The one and only
Finish Kaerus without using any other weapons than the Ironfist
Kaerus is the first mission in the game and the Ironfist is the pistol you have. As you progress through there are several different weapons you can use. Ignore them and ensure you only use the Ironfist as a weapon, however, takedowns are fine and usually an easier way given poor accuracy of the Ironfist. Once you have completed the mission and gotten pass the results screen having only used the Ironfist, your Trophy will unlock.

Pedestrian
Finish Avarus without using the grapnel
This can be a pain as you aren’t allowed to use the grapnel at all, not even for taking the shields away from enemies which if you play the game a lot it becomes instinctive to press L1 whenever you see an enemy carrying a shield. Aim for their legs / get behind them instead. Avarus is chapter 8 so load that up, fill your consumables then jump in.
As you start the level, jump down to the left towards the green beacon then wall run across both panels, double jump dash across the gap to the platform opposite. Turn around then jump on the small pipe to your left and double jump up to the hole in the building to your right. Take out the enemies here. Go through the doorway to your right with a green light above through to the orange glowing section of room go out the left exit after taking out the enemies and jump up to the platform with a white glowing skull with wings on a pipe.
Jump up the air con units and across the pipe where a series of shipping containers will appear. Wall jump across them both and double jump dash across the gap then wall run across to the green beacon. Drop down into the orange glowing section and take out the enemies ensuring you don’t use the grapnel to remove the shields form the enemies here. Your dog is a good option for this.
Drop down to the Tower operator marker and call the cargo, exit right and ride the cargo platform across. Take out the enemies here. Drop down, go left and jump up to the ledge above double jump across to the ladder. Climb the ladder then go through and find the container you need, line up the coordinates. Take out the enemies, ride the container and defeat the Ambots to complete the mission. As long as you never use your grapnel for anything in this mission, your Trophy will unlock after the results screen.

God speed
Place the 5 bombs in a gap of less than 3 minutes in Escher Lab
3 minutes is actually quite a generous amount of time as long as you’ve already taken out the majority of the enemies. For me, to get my bearings I started on top of the large blue skull at the back of the room then dropped down to the right, grapnel up to the green beacon and dash to the far charge point at the far side of area then hurry back and place the charge under where you first came in.
Form here, drop grapnel up to the ledge above dropping down and go straight, grapnel up to the next green beacon and drop down to the left. Place the charge and move down to the far side of the area to place the next charge. From here, drop down to the ledge below and go through the pipe with the blue glow. Go left and left again through the pipe, double jump up and grapnel up to the ledge above where you can place the final charge. As long as you did place all 5 charges in 3 minutes or less, your Trophy will unlock.

Sniper
Kill 10 enemies in a row with headshots only
A good weapon to get this done with is the Doghammer Combat Shotgun which can be bought from the Weapons Dealer in Martyr’s End for $2,141 then head to Chapter 1. After dealing with the initial enemies and going through to the room where the doors open releasing a few enemies at a time. Aim carefully at an enemies head, where when playing on easy should easily one hit them, be careful not to hit the upper chest or the shoulder, it needs to be the head. Do this 10 times in a row to unlock your Trophy.

Kill it with fire
Kill a Genestealer with a grenade launcher
The Funeral Ball which is the Grenade Launcher can be purchased from the Weapons Dealer in Martyr’s End under the Special tab for $4,289. Ensure you equip it at the mission selection screen and go to Chapter 7, Cold Black. A Genestealer is the large bug looking enemies that are extremely fast and found in the depths of Chapter 7. When the Genestealers appear, equip the Funeral Ball and blast away until one is dead where your Trophy will then unlock.

I hate walking
Travel 5km using the grapnel
You will automatically acquire the Grapnel in mission 2 near the end of the train and will be required to navigate around the game world. Use the grapnel to traverse 5km in total which can be done by going to and from a section or by using it a good number of times to get out of the enemies’ line of sight. The Grapnel is a very useful tool for getting you out of dodge. Use it for 5km total where your Trophy will then unlock.

The specialist
Finish a mission using only special weapons
Special weapons can be either looted in the various chapters or purchased from Meniga Hurrio, the weapon dealer who is found opposite the Rogue Doc under Special. There is a decent amount of variety to choose from in the Special category such as the:
- Hashin’s Eye, Sniper Rifle.
- Wrath, a Gravgun.
- BurningSun, a Plasma Gun.
- Funeral Ball, Grenade Launcher.
Meaning you can fully equip yourself with special weapons and go through a nice easy mission such as Chapter 1, Kaerus using only special weapons to complete the mission.

Who needs weapons
Kill 5 enemies in one use of Strength Booster
Strength booster is a powerful ability you can buy from the Rogue Doc (Rogue Doc> Bionics> Internal> Internal Implants Level 1> Strength Booster) which allows you to hack and smash enemies which is nearly a 1 hit kill on anything without a shield. In the first mission there are several enemies that group together after you take down the first Brute in the game. Defeat the Brute then activate your Strength Booster (increase the level up to level 4 to increase the duration if needs be) and quickly smash your way through the enemies that come from the tunnel. Once you have taken down 5 enemies in one instance of strength booster, your Trophy will unlock.

Future best friend ?
Let Brickjaw live in Koloss 44
See Ruthless for more information.

Ruthless
Kill Brickjaw in Koloss 44
Koloss 44 is the second mission in Necromunda Hired Gun and has you go through a train to rescue Brickhaw from a cell. Once he comes out and opens the way below for you to proceed through to the end of the mission you can, to do this the simplest way, take him out with Square before jumping down the hole to unlock Ruthless.
Then, before jumping down, pause the game and quit to the main menu, reload your save where you will be in front of Brickjaw’s cell again. This time jumping down through the hole then heading through, hijacking the train and completing the mission. As long as you let Brickjaw live, your Future best friend ? will unlock after the mission results screen.

Zap
Kill 30 enemies with the Blast module
The Blast module can be found from the Rogue Doc> Bionics> Luminem> Luminem Capicator Level 1> Blast. The Blast module shoots an energy discharge forward frying targets that aren’t shielded. The further you level the Blast module, the more enemies you can target at once. Take down 30 enemies with the Blast module to unlock your Trophy.

It’s not cheating!
Kill 60 enemies with the Perfect Aim module
You can find the Perfect Aim module from the Rogue Doc> Bionics> Cerebral> Cerebral Implant Level 1> Perfect aim. The perfect aim module places the reticle when ADS on an enemy for a short amount of time which increases as you level up the module. Take out 60 enemies which will be easiest in the early missions of the game as the enemies aren’t shielded 60 times using the Perfect aim module to unlock your Trophy.

Kaboom
Kill 30 enemies with the Crush module
The Crush module is found from the Rogue Doc> Bionics> Luminem> Luminem Capacitor Level 1> Crush. The Crush module allows you to teleport to nearby enemies and cause an explosion when you arrive which gets more powerful with a larger blast radius the further you level it up. It will, of course be simpler to take out enemies who aren’t shielded so go for this on the earlier missions. Once you have defeated 30 enemies with the Crush module, your Trophy will unlock.

Defuser
Trigger all mines on Steel way
Steel Way is Chapter 9, go through the first section using the batteries to open the door then proceed through to where a dog will trigger 2 mines killing it. This is the section where the majority of the mines will be found. Make your way down either side of the track shooting the mines as you go taking care to get the mines on the old railway section as well. Once you have cleared every mine here, jump up to the platform near the end to your left and double jump, dash across the gap to where the blue light is lighting up the edge of a small room opposite the train hanging out of the wall.
In this small room is another few mines, shoot one to trigger the rest. From here, jump up to the ledge above and take out the 2 enemies and go out on to the walkway. From here, jump across to the pipe, turn around and jump onto the adjacent pipe, go through where up to your left will be a chest with a mine in front of it. The mine has a leg on it so walk over it to trigger the explosion.
Once you’ve done that, jump down to the ground floor (through the pipe) and go forward rather than left where you will find another 10 mines. From here, go through the mission pass the elevator you need 2 batteries for and across the large room through another corridor to a room where dogs and enemies will attack you. In the middle of this room is a hole that has 7 mines around it. Either shoot the mines or wait for a dog to trigger them then go and complete the mission to unlock your Trophy.
