Here is the Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered Golddigger Trophy Guide. In total, there are 60 racer events (DLC doesn’t count towards this one) you will need to earn a gold medal in. The racer events are a lot easier than the cop events as you don’t get penalties for hitting the side of the track or traffic. If you are struggling with an event, come back to it later where you will either have a more powerful vehicle or a better understanding of how the cars handle. The 60 racer events are spread over 6 separate categories, they are:
Duel
This will see you face off against another racer in a point to point sprint, choose the best car you can. A lot of the time the other racer will seem to pull away, regardless of how well you do, however, you should be able to catch up as long as you stay away from hitting the traffic scattered throughout the event. Ensure you achieve first place to earn a gold medal.
Gauntlet
A point to point sprint with cops and weapons which can be a bit nasty as you make your way through the game. Use your own weapons efficiently, and you should be able to take the win soon enough. Beat the time to earn a gold medal.
Hot Pursuit
These events are the main stay of the game, for the gold medal, you will need to achieve first place whilst not being take down by the cops. You are for the most part weaponised as is your competition so play tactically to take the win.
Preview
This mode has you driving from point a to point b in a very high end car in a strict time limit, learn the route and more importantly, learn which shortcuts to take, some shortcuts have a lot more obstacles than the main road. This can make them more of a hindrance than a help, practice the course a few times and you’ll see a big decrease in the times you will be posting. Beat the time limit to earn your gold medal.
Race
You will be racing against a series of other racers, there are no weapons in races so it’s purely skill based. Get first place to earn your gold medal.
Time Trial
Similar to the preview except these can be any cars that are available for the event. Time Trials can be fairly challenging, so make good use of your nitrous and more importantly, learn the course. Practice a good amount of times or come back later when you have access to more powerful vehicles. Beat the time limit to earn your gold medal. Complete all 60 events to unlock your Trophy.
