There are 25 Kodama to collect throughout the, The Tengu’s Disciple DLC which are found throughout 3 separate missions in the game:
Finding all Kodama in the Region will boost the amount of elixirs you can carry which will help massively given the difficulty of this DLC.
The Kodama can be found at the following missions / locations throughout the DLC.
A Song to Calm the Storm
Level 120 Main Mission, 10 Kodama.
- First Kodama
From the start of the mission, go around to the right pass the bow of the ship to the water’s edge next to the rock face which will be on your right where you will find the Kodama. - Second Kodama
Proceed through the mission to where the Bakegani spawns, defeat it then head right behind the edge of the platform right above the water’s edge to find the Kodama. - Third Kodama
Continue through the mission pass the Abberant Soldier to where a Lesser Umi-bozu and a small Bakegani will be. Before crossing the mast, go around to the left side of the ship to find the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama
Make your way around from the second shrine near to the red area where you will fight 2 Bakegani, just to the left before going into the area will be a rock formation, look to the right of the rocks to find the Kodama in the vegetation. - Fifth Kodama
Just before going through the red wooden doors to fight Benkei, go to the right side of the balcony where you’ll find the Kodama next to the railings. - Sixth Kodama
Proceed through the mission to the third shrine just after having defeated Benkei, to the right of the shrine will be a yellow screen, smash through the screen to find the Kodama. - Seventh Kodama
Head around through the area into the dark realm across the gangplank after going up the ladder. Go around to the right then look to the left at the end of the railings above the staircase leading down to find the Kodama. - Eighth Kodama
Please Note: You will need a hand cannon or a bomb to blast a section of wall away to access this Kodama.
From the Seventh Kodama, head down the stairs and around to the left, go into the room on your right then blast the wooden right wall to remove a section of it with either a hand cannon or a bomb. Look behind the open chest in front of you to find the Kodama. - Ninth Kodama
Continue through the mission to where Benkei leaves you telling you to go to Lord Yoshitsune, just after defeating a Bakegani, in the room where Benkei leaves you, look to the right corner behind some smashable crates to find the Kodama. - Tenth Kodama
Just before you go up the wooden ramp to the Uminyudo boss fight, you will be in a small courtyard, look at the staircase on the right of the courtyard, to the left of the stairs behind a lantern will be the Kodama.
Eternal Rivals
Level 125 Main Mission, 9 Kodama.
- First Kodama
From the start of the mission head through to the ground floor of the mine then just pass the Nuppeppo and the Abberant Soliders is a ladder you’ll need to climb. Next to the ladder will be a large amrita shard which you can smash through to find the Kodama. - Second Kodama
From the first Kodamas’ location, head up the ladder then go up the wooden ramps taking the first left then first right up to a platform. To the left of the platform will be a small ledge you can drop down onto then turn around and drop down to the next ledge where you will find the Kodama. - Third Kodama
Head down to the ground floor from the second shrine progressing through the mission, pass the Ippon-Datara staying right into the dark realm. Take the first left once in the dark realm just before you get to the Abberant Soldiers, smash through the small crates to find the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama
Make your way out of the mine pass the Nuppeppo, go through the tunnel into the stream, take a right once in the stream then stay right to find the Kodama in an alcove. - Fifth Kodama
Go through from the third shrine taking the first left. Take out the Abberant Soldier then smash through the crates in between the 2 small buildings to find the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama
From the fourth shrine, go left staying left up the hill, go through the long grass pass the 2 Namahage, 2 Yoki and the Abberant Soldier. Take a left up the hill then cut through the bamboo on your left. Stay left to the edge of the ledge where you will find the Kodama at the end. - Seventh Kodama
Turn around from the Sixth Kodamas’ location, go back the way you came, take a right then a left, following the path around to the left where a Nuppeppo will jump down to you. On your left will be an Abberant Solider on a wooden ramp, take out all the yokai then go up the wooden ramp to the end of the tree where you will find the Kodama. - Eighth Kodama
Cross the bridge pass the Namahage and the Karasu Tengu then take a right and the first left cutting through the bamboo before the next Namahage. At the end of the path will be the Kodama to the left of the chest. - Ninth Kodama
From the fifth and final shrine, take a right down to the Minamoto no Yoshitsune boss area, go down 2 sets of stairs where there will be a corpse holding an item, look to your left to find the Kodama to the right of a tree.
Shadows Creep in Kurama
Level 121 Sub Mission, 6 Kodama.
- First Kodama
From the start of the mission, go through to where the Bakegani will be, there will also be a Gaki up on the ledge to your left throwing bombs at you. Go into the small building on your right, take out the NPC, go out the right side exit and stay right to find the Kodama. - Second Kodama
Continue through the mission pass the Koroka then take a right up towards the Namahage, go up the stairs then cross the wooden platform on your left and climb the ladder. At the top of the ladder, drop off to your left onto a platform where the Kodama will be, you will need to take out an NPC in order to collect the Kodama. - Third Kodama
Proceed through the mission to the dark realm where the Tesso and the Kurasu Tengu will be, defeat the Karasu Tengu to dispel the dark realm then look at the second shrine. From here, go right to the wall where you will find the Kodama in the vegetation near the top corner. - Fourth Kodama
Continue through the mission to where the Bakegani and an NPC will be defeated, take a left down towards a ladder. Before going up the ladder, look left to find the Kodama tucked in just behind a tree. - Fifth Kodama
From the Fourth Kodamas’ location, go up the ladder then make a left, take the first right dropping off to the left when you get close to the bush on your left to a small walkway below. Turn around and go to the end of the path to find the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama
Drop down from the Fifth Kodama then head around back up the path, this time, drop off the end of the path to a small ledge below, turn around to find the Kodama.
That’s all 25 Kodama in the, The Tengu’s Disciple DLC, collect them all to unlock your Trophy.
