The recommended level for Hamamatsu is 10 and before you can collect all of the Kodama you will firstly need to clear the Castle Town Crucible which is a tall order. With that done, Castle Town opens up and you are free to explore the remains and collect the last Kodama.

Kodama are green Sprites who can be collected by clearing the local area of aggro’d enemies then holding R1 to collect the Kodama as long as they aren’t hiding in their hats. You will then receive Kodama Merit which you can use at a Shrine to activate a Kodama Blessing increasing Elixir drop rate / efficacy so these little dudes are well worth sniffing out to find.
Hamamatsu Kodama
There are 4 Kodama in the Hamamatsu region which are the:
Tokaido Shrine Kodama
Closest Shrine: Tokaido Shrine.
Rewards: Kodama Merit +10.
Go West from the Tokaido Shrine then stay left along the main path to the building which has the hay bales next to it you can mantle up. Jump on the roof then drop down so you’re on the other side of the fence in the dry rice field. Turn left then enter the building on your left at the end to find the Kodama.

Hamamatsu Post Kodama
Closest Shrine: Hamamatsu Post.
Rewards: Kodama Merit +10.
Head South from the Hamamatsu Post Shrine and mantle up to the roof tops on your right by going on the rocks. Take out the Crucible Wasp on the left building then stay on the left guttering and jump down to the lower building at the back. Go to the end of the slope next to the large building to find the Kodama.

Hamamatsu Post Terrace Kodama
Closest Shrine: Hamamatsu Post Terrace.
Rewards: Kodama Merit +10.
Destroy the Lesser Crucible just pass the Hamamatsu Post Terrace Shrine then go through and into the building on your left before you get to the Yoki. If the Jailer aggro’s on the roof then you’ve gone to far. Climb the stairs and jump out the back window where you will see a well with a rock you can knock down. In doing so will bring the Kodama up in the basket, however, there will be a Crucible Wasp and a Jailer you need to deal with if they see you.

Hamamatsu Castle East Gate Kodama
Closest Shrine: Hamamatsu Castle East Gate.
Rewards: Kodama Merit +10.
After clearing the Castle Town Crucible, go through all of the dialogue then head out from the East Gate Shrine through the training area before jumping across to the Kodama on the hay bales.
