Here we will go over how to complete the NIOH 3 Mirage Fortress main mission which you can begin later in the 1577 CE Warring States era and is a tough mission to get through as you have a literal Army base filled with Soldiers and Yokai and 2 bosses along the way which are designed to crush you.

Make your way carefully up through the area going up and around the rooftops, watching for ambushes and shots from above as you try to get to the Castle. When you’re at the area where a Yoki sends 3 boulders down the path stay left then after dealing with the Ninja Yoki go down the hill to open the shortcut rather than going up the hill towards the boss arena.
Once you’re in the Anayama Nobutada arena, stand at the edge, take out the Elite with a ranged attack then take out the Soldier to your right. Try and snipe the Ninja in the building on the left side before aggroing Nobutada (there is another Ninja on the right but you won’t get a line of sight). Take out Nobutada then head in and deal with the Ninja before looting the chest.
Go right then follow the path up the stairs to the Shrine before heading up and through more of the camp. Don’t sprint through as these Yokai will follow you for days, instead, proceed slowly and take them out 1 by 1 as best as you can until you get to the next Shrine. Rest then clear out the Horseman before going across the ramps and into the arena to face off against Baba Nobuhara.
The Baba Nobuhara boss will unquestionably be the toughest boss you will have come against in the story so far and this guy is a pain to fight as his attacks have varying delays before they hit meaning you could easily dodge into a sweeping attack when you were trying to avoid an overhead slam. This dude is packing some serious magic power as well all of which can crush you so knowing when to get up close and when to back off is key to victory here.
