Here we will go over all of the Nioh Dojo Missions. The Dojo missions will unlock as you progress through the game and earn proficiency with different weapon types as well as Ninjitsu and Onmyo. You will have 18 Dojo missions to complete with them increasing in difficulty significantly as you progress through them. All of these missions can be completed on Way of the Samurai which will help and if you need any other Nioh missions, check out the Samurai of Legend trophy guide for how to complete every mission in the game.
I recommend going through the game, completing The Queen’s Eyes (final mission) then levelling up on Way of the Strong then coming back to mop up any remaining / harder / twilight missions you have outstanding on Way of the Samurai. Many of the Dojo missions will require certain levels of weapon proficiency, to see how much proficiency you have for a given weapon, press Touchpad, go to the Status tab, press R1 to get to the Additional Stats page then look to the bottom section to see your current proficiencies. I will give you a brief guide on how to get through every dojo mission as well as a Let’s Play video for every mission showing you what you need to do to complete that given mission. The 18 Dojo missions are as follows:

Basic Action Controls
Level 1.
A basic movement and control tutorial.
Applied Action Controls
Level 1.
A more advanced tutorial teaching you about ranged and living weapons.

The Way Of The Warrior: Novice
Level 5.
Use the locks to earn a skill point, use the skill point to learn the Sword Ki skill in the Skills section of the touchpad menu. Head to the skill customisation menu then change the Mid Stance L1+Triangle option to Water Shadow then defeat the 2 enemies to complete the mission.
The Way Of The Ninja: Novice
Level 5.
Use the Famed Ninja’s Locks to earn a Ninjitsu skill point, use the skill point to unlock the Shuriken Shooter skill in the Skills section of the touchpad menu. Go to the shrine, select Ready Jutsu then click the Shuriken and Blinding Shell options setting them both as shortcuts. Defeat the 2 enemies to complete the mission.
The Way of Onmyo: Novice
Level 5.
Use the Famed Onmyo Mage’s Locks to earn an Onmyo Magic skill point, use the skill point to unlock the Talisman: Fire Shot skill in the Skills section of the touchpad menu. Go to the shrine, select Ready Jutsu then click the Talisman: Fire and Talisman: Fire Shot options setting them both as shortcuts. Defeat the Sentry to complete the mission.
The Way Of The Warrior: Adept
Level 40.
Requires Weapon Proficiency of 100,000.
Once you have hit the required proficiency for any weapon, this mission will unlock. You will face off against Marume Nagayoshi, defeat him to complete the mission.

The Way of the Ninja: Adept
Level 40.
Requires a Dexterity Skill of 10 or above.
Get 10 points in your Dexterity skill where this mission will unlock. You will be fighting Hattori Hanzo with a series of Ninjitsu including Gallnut Broth, Poison Shuriken and Makibishi, you can however, just use melee in this fight if you wish. Defeat Hattori Hanzo to complete the mission.

The Way of Onmyo: Adept
Level 40.
Requires a Magic Skill of 10 or above.
Level up, placing 10 points in your Magic skill where this mission will unlock. There are a series of yokai to defeat in this mission, which you can use either your melee attacks or the Onmyo you have equipped such as Water Shot, Water Talisman and the fantastically helpful Sloth Talisman. Either way, defeat all of the yokai to complete the mission.

The Way of the Warrior: Veteran
Level 65.
Requires Weapon Proficiency of 300,000.
Reach 300,000 proficiency in any weapon where this mission will become available. You will face off against Marume Nagayoshi, a very powerful swordsman who knows what he’s doing. Use your 3 elixirs sparingly and defeat him to complete the mission.

The Way Of The Ninja: Veteran
Level 65.
Requires a Dexterity Skill of 15 or above.
Get 15 points in your Dexterity skill where this mission will then unlock. You will, again, be facing off against Hattori Hanzo who is much more powerful than previous iterations. You will have a series of Ninjitsu to use throughout the fight including, Hemlock Broth, Paralysis Shuriken, Blinding Shells, Power Pills and a couple Iga Style Horoku-dama to throw at him. Defeat Hattori Hanzo any way you can to complete the mission.

The Way Of Onmyo: Veteran
Level 65.
Requires a Magic Skill of 15 or above.
Get 15 points in your Magic skill to unlock this mission. You will be fighting a series of yokai including a Karasu Tengu. You are given some fairly decent Onmyo Magic to use which are, Lightning Shot, Lightning Talisman, Sloth Talisman, Windstop Talisman and the Kekkai Talisman. Defeat every yokai to complete the mission.

Zen And Sword Are One
Level 100.
Requires a Sword Proficiency of 500,000.
You will be facing off against Yagyu Sekishusai, a master swordsman. Dodge rather than block for the most part but never allow yourself to get cornered. If you become staggered, you’re all but dead as he will capitalise on your low Ki with a devastating grapple. Defeat Yagyu Sekishusai to complete the mission.
The Grimmest Blades
Level 100.
Requires a Dual Sword Proficiency of 500,000.
Facing off against Ashikaga Yoshiteru who is a master with the Dual Swords will be a rough day if you try and go blow for blow. Dodge backwards when he come at you with Ki draining combos then go in with your own attacks to stagger him, do a quick Ki Pulse if you’re low on Ki then grapple him. Get a few cheeky hits in and Ashikaga will be defeated soon enough where the mission will complete.
Steel Across Steel
Level 100.
Requires a Spear Proficiency of 500,000.
Hozoin Inei is the master you’ll need to defeat in this mission a master spearman with a lethal reach and a high amount of Ki, back away when he goes into high stance as he can wreck your Ki / health in a couple of hits. Try and dodge behind him where you’ll be able to punish, defeat him to complete the mission.
The Invincible
Level 100.
Requires an Axe Proficiency of 500,000.
Facing Sakata Kintoki the axe master, is arguably the hardest fight across the Dojo as he is fast, incredibly powerful, has incredible Ki and can take a lot of punishment. Play very defensively, whittling his health down with fast attacks in low stance or master his timings when punish him when you can in high stance. Either way, defeat him to complete the mission.
A Clash Of Sickles
Level 100.
Requires a Kusarigama Proficiency of 500,000.
You will need to defeat Shisenin Kosen who is a master with the Kusarigama. Back away when he starts swinging the Kusarigama above his head. You should be able to whittle down his Ki soon enough where he’s open for a punishing grapple. Work his health bar down until he’s defeated where you will complete the mission.
A True Ninja
Level 100.
Requires a Dexterity Skill of 20 or above.
Place 20 points into your Dexterity skill where this mission will then unlock. You will then have access to this brutal fight against Okatsu, a true master of Ninjitsu, Okatsu will come at with lightning fast speed, she can utilise every element of Ninjitsu found in the game at her leisure, where as you get 2 Shinobi Boxes a Poison Omamori Charm and a Paralysis Omamori Charm which are pretty much useless as the status effects wear off very quickly. Make good use of your spacing and blocking, her hits aren’t Ki heavy so try and tank your way through the fight getting in hits whenever possible. Defeat Okatsu to complete the mission.
A Greater Harmony
Level 100.
Requires a Magic Skill of 20 or above.
Level your Magic skill up to 20 to unlock this mission which will see you face off against 2 Sentries, a lightning Onyudo and a powerful Nue. You are given a lot of Onmyo magic to help you through this fight including Kekkai Talismans, Water Talismans, a Sloth Talisman, Water Shots, Protection Talismans, Rejuvenation Talismans and Lightningstop Talismans. All of this magic combined with your melee attacks should be more than enough to take out these enemies. As always, don’t get greedy with your attacks, use your Elixers sparingly and take down all 4 enemies to complete the mission.
