Here is the complete Nioh Kodama Leader Trophy Guide. Collecting every Kodama will be, by far the longest trophy to complete in the entire game. In total, there are 6 main regions with each region housing 25 Kodama. Collecting a Kodama requires you to get to its’ location which may be off the beaten track, behind smashable crates, hidden behind chests or behind some strong enemies to name but a few. Collecting all of the Kodama in a region will allow you to choose the maximum Kodama Blessing found at the Shrine. The Kodama Blessings you can receive are:
- Oracle Blessing.
Increases the amount of Amrita acquired by up to 25%. - Swordsman Blessing.
Increases weapon drop rate by up to 5%. - Warrior Blessing.
Increases armour drop rate by 5%. - Healer Blessing.
Increases elixir drop rate by up to 25%. - Hunter Blessing.
Increases drop rate of materials by 25%.
Given the amount of Kodama you will need to find in a region, you can check how many you have, which is very useful, especially if you think you have them all by clicking on any mission where the Kodama can be found to see how many Kodama you have collected. The Kodama can be found in the following Regions / Missions throughout the game:

Kyushu Region
The Kyushu Region has 25 Kodama which are found in the following missions:
Find all 25 Kodama to unlock every Kodama Blessing available in the Kyushu Region.
Isle of Demons
Level 5 Main Mission, 9 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission, head forward and up the ramp where the 2 soldiers are, to the right of the building behind a smashable cart is the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Head up and through the area staying left. Take the second right then round to the left to find the Kodama behind a large tree up on the ledge. - Third Kodama:
Head up and through the area staying left. Take the second right then round to the left to find the Kodama behind a large tree up on the ledge. - Fourth Kodama:
Proceed through the mission to where the Yoki spawns inside the building where you will collect the Key to Residence allowing you to open the gate. Before you do so, go behind the fence on the right of the area to find the Kodama. - Fifth Kodama:
Open the gate using the Key to Residence then head down a few paces to the right, drop off the edge to land on a ledge, on the far left edge will be the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
Proceed through the area pass the Yoki and up the ladder next to the well. Go to the far rooftop, just next to where the ladder is leading down into a small building under a small wooden platform will be the Kodama. - Seventh Kodama:
Carry on through the mission, once you’re pass the Yoki that spawns in, drop down and go through the buildings directly opposite. Go right up the ladder, navigate your way across the rooftops and climb the ladder up to the watchtower, cross the walkway, dropping down onto the next roof to your left, drop off the end onto a small huts’ roof to find the Kodama. - Eighth Kodama:
From the Seventh Kodama, head down to the waters edge, on the left side next to the cliff will be the Kodama. - Ninth Kodama:
Go through the first section into the cave then head right into a small room then right again into a small room. Next to the chest will be the Kodama.
Deep In The Shadows
Level 12 Main Mission, 8 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
Rather than going through to fight the Onryoki boss, go right and up the ramp, pass the gate you can open leading back to the shrine, at the edge of the walkway is the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Come out of the room where you collected the First Kodama, take a right then the second right. Defeat the Rogue (sword wielding heavy armoured Soldier) and collect the Boss Room Key. Go back to the cave to your left and up the ramp, use the Key on the wooden door. Defeat the Soldier where you will find the Kodama to the left of the chest. - Third Kodama:
To get your bearings, proceed through the mission to the second shrine, from here, go back on yourself and take the first right, to the left of this room will be a chest to the right of which will be the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
From the second shrine, head forward then take a left through the smashable crates dropping down to the lower level, just to the left behind some luminous plants will be the Kodama. - Fifth Kodama:
Going from the Fourth Kodamas’ location head forward dropping down pass the Skeleton Warriors and Dwellers. Take the first left going up pass the Yoki that spawns, up the ramp to the end of the area against the wall to find the Kodama behind a luminous plants. - Sixth Kodama:
Head back down the ramps, take a left dropping going down the ladder to your left, at the end of the walkway will be the Kodama. - Seventh Kodama:
Proceed through the mission until you are in the lowest level where the water and the One-eyed Oni are found, go over to the left wall to find a small passage you can go through. At the end of the passage, smash the crystals to find the Kodama. - Eighth Kodama:
Go over to the to right section to find a small ramp which lead to a chest overlooking a One-eyed Oni. Head to the chest then turn around, you will see the Kodama against the left wall.
The Spirit Stone Slumbers
Level 19 Main Mission, 8 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
Head forward from the start of the mission, take a left across the bridge then cross the next bridge, carefully go up the tree trunk to your left to find the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Go straight once you’re off the tree truck where you collected the First Kodama, go to the very back wall behind the building to find the Kodama next to a tree. - Third Kodama:
Stick to the right wall and proceed round to a small building, to the left of the building, is a fence, smash the crates in between the fence and the building to find the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
Head across to the far left wall in the mission and go right to the end. Just behind a very small wooden structure is the Kodama. - Fifth Kodama:
Defeat the Nue then before stepping onto the elevator head to the right side of the room, next to the mechanism where you will see the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
Go down through the caves to the end pass the large Skeleton Warrior with the Axe then take a left then another left to find the Kodama. - Seventh Kodama:
Proceed through the mission to the second shrine, turn around directly from the shrine then take your first left. Defeat the Sentry then collect the Kodama in the left corner near the staircase. - Eighth Kodama:
From the Seventh Kodama, go up the stairs then take your first right, follow the path to the end going up the stairs, once you’re pass the second large Skeleton Warrior with the Axe. Carry on to see a pile of large rocks, go behind these rocks and follow the path to find the Kodama.
That’s all 25 Kodama in the Kyushu Region.
Chugoku Region
The Chugoku Region has 25 Kodama found throughout the following missions:
Collect all 25 Kodama to unlock every Kodama Blessing in the Chugoku Region.
The Silver Mine Writhes
Level 27 Main Mission, 9 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
Going from the start of the mission, take a right then cross the walkway, go down the ladder and duck into the alcove on the right, smash the boxes to find the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
- Go back up the ladder then follow the walkway around and go right at the end. Proceed forward, dropping off the end just next to one of the poison rocks, destroy it then go left pass the Dweller, climb another ladder then follow the walkway around to the end. Smash the small pots / baskets to find the Kodama.
- Third Kodama:
Come back on yourself from the Second Kodama and carefully drop down to the wooden ledge under the walkway you are on. Head through to the end then carefully step onto the wooden platform, look to the right to see the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
Drop off the wooden platform from the Third Kodama, head forward and climb the ladder, follow the path around to the left. There are a couple of baskets and a smashable crate to your right, parallel with the rock wall. Smash the basket to collect the Kodama. - Fifth Kodama:
Go back the way you just came to the wooden door, carefully drop off the ledge to your left to land on a small wooden ledge upon which is the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
Drop down to the floor and go forward sticking to the right wall. Just next to the locked Central Mine Door will be an alcove hiding the Kodama. - Seventh Kodama:
Collect the Central Mine Key to open the Central Mine Door, replenish your stocks at the shrine if you need to then head through to the next area. Follow the walkway around to the right then drop off the wooden platform onto a small wooden platform, go through into the tunnel, go left to find the Kodama above a poison rock. - Eighth Kodama:
Drop down to the lower level, just to the right of the ladder you will need to climb to carry on through to the boss will be the Kodama next to a wooden fence. - Ninth Kodama:
Climb up the ladder from the Eighth Kodama where a Wheelmonk will rush at you. At the end of the walkway will be the Kodama.
The Ocean Roars Again
Level 38 Main Mission, 9 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
Head forward through the mission until the first Lesser Umi-bozu enemy jumps out of the water at you. In the top left corner of this area is a solo smashable crate, smash through it to find the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Go to the end of the walkway taking the second right, in the top left corner just at the waters edge behind some smashable crates is the Kodama. - Third Kodama:
Head to the end of the walkway, taking a right going up the smashed ship onto the rooftop, follow the rooftops around to the left and go through the smashed roof section, when you get to the Yoki, go down the ladder to your right. At the end of the ledge to your left will be the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
Proceed through the mission until you get to the elevated platform just pass where a Lesser Umi – bozu drops down on you, carefully drop off the left side of the platform next to the crashed ship to find the Kodama. - Fifth Kodama:
Go back on yourself across the elevated platform you dropped off to collect your Third Kodama, to the right side of this area are a set of wooden doors you can open. Head through here, taking a right, smash the crates and go the end of the walkway to find the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
From the Fourth Kodama go through the area carefully crossing the planks / walkways to find a ladder, climb it then make your way around the rooftops to eventually come to a crashed ship with a large Skeleton Warrior with an Axe patrolling. Drop down onto the ship then at the end will be a ramp leading back to the rooftop, under the ledge will be the Kodama. - Seventh Kodama:
Carry on across the rooftops then drop down onto a Lesser Umi-bozu, just to the left of the ramp leading off from this section will be the Kodama. - Eighth Kodama:
From the Seventh Kodama, head right, being careful of the Yoki ambush, go left and follow the path to find a Hot Spring, go left from here behind the wall to find the Kodama. - Ninth Kodama:
Go back on yourself from the Seventh Kodama, heading forward, open the door then over to the right of the Brazier next to the altar will be the Kodama.
The Three Angry Gods
Level 31 Sub Mission, 4 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
Go forward taking a right up the ledge, just next to the Dweller is a small platform you can drop down to. On this platform is the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Head up the central staircase to the Temple, go left down the path pass the large Skeleton Warrior with the Axe, drop off the end of the path onto a small platform where you will see the Kodama. - Third Kodama:
In the centre of the mission is a large staircase leading up the Temple, go to the left side and make your way right up to the Temple’s roof. At the very front of the roof behind 2 broken rafters sticking out will be the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
From the Third Kodama, drop off the left side of the roof and go through into the cave pass the flame and poison statues then open the stone doors to your left and go down both ladders. At the back of this ledge will be a Nurikabe, get through it using either Gestures or combat carefully follow the path down to the end to find the Kodama next to the hole in the floor.
The Conspirators
Level 45 Sub Mission, 3 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
Head around the first large rock on your right, go to the edge of the area where you can fall off and die in the deep water, right in the corner on the right is the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Go up to the first floor of the large ship at the start of the mission, heading into the middle of the 3 rooms where there will be a breakable section of floor. Drop down through the floor to be in a small room with a large Skeleton Warrior with an Axe. Take it out then smash the crates in the right corner to find the Kodama. - Third Kodama:
Make your way through the mission up and through the large ship. Head across the to the ship on the right and climb the ladder to the left so you are up on the mast. Go left across the mast to find the Kodama.
That’s all 25 Kodama in the Chugoku Region.
Kinki Region
There’s 25 Kodama to collect throughout the Kinki Region in the following missions:
Find all 25 Kodama to have access to every Kodama Blessing in the Kinki Region.
Spider Nest Castle
Level 47 Main Mission, 9 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission, go up the web ramps and drop down, make your way to the top left edge of this area to find a Watchtower, go behind it to find the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Proceed through the mission going up pass the Onyudo that sends a boulder down the hill, carry on up to find a Yoki inside a small building, to the right of the building behind some smashable crates is the Kodama. - Third Kodama:
From the Second Kodama, carefully drop down onto the roof below taking care not to fall into the hole in the roof. Go to the front left of the roof then very slowly drop down onto a very small, narrow ledge to find the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
After you have killed the 2nd Giant Spider (where you will receive Hiragumo Fragment II), head left then down the slopes to your right to find a very small building. Smash through the crates to the left of the building to find the Kodama. - Fifth Kodama:
Head back to where you fought the 2nd Giant Spider then make your way through to the small housing area, stay left as much as you can then follow the wall to the right. At the end of this walkway look over to the right corner to find the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
Collect the Key to the Castle Gates (you’ll need this to proceed through the mission) then make your way right staying left to find an open well next to a small building. Drop down here then stick to the right wall, stay right to find a small alcove inside of which is the Kodama. - Seventh Kodama:
From the Sixth Kodama, go through the left opening and climb the ladder to be back outside. Go left following the path to the end then in the top right corner behind some smashable crates will be the Kodama. - Eighth Kodama:
Go through to the Castle using the Key to the Castle Gates, make your way around to the left of the Castle before going inside to fight another Giant Spider as well as a lot of smaller Spiders. Against the very back wall is the Kodama in between some Spider Eggs. - Ninth Kodama:
Head into the Castle then go around to the back and up the stairs. Before you go up the next set of stairs, drop off the right side onto a web and go down into a room with a shrine. Go up the ladder in the left corner of the room exiting through the right side of this room to find the Kodama.
Falling Snow
Level 55 Main Mission, 8 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission, head right to find the Kodama in a plant. - Second Kodama:
Proceed through the mission until you get to the first Onyudo in the level after you have worked your way up and around the rooftop. Just to the left where the Onyudo spawns against a smashed portion of building is the Kodama. - Third Kodama:
Continue through the mission going through the first blue armrita cluster then take a right then right again through a small building, once you have defeat the One-eyed Imp and the One-eyed Oni yokai, go around the fence on the right to find the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
From the Third Kodama, go back through the small building staying right, follow the path to where it banks around to the left, deal with the Flying Bolt yokai then look to the right to see a lot of frozen plants, the Kodama is at the back of these plants. - Fifth Kodama:
Proceed through the mission to the building where the Onyudo spawns, go out the left exit and up the ice slope navigate around the rooftop going down the ladder at the end. Carry on through this area taking out the Skeleton Warrior Archer on the small ice bridge. In the next area, take out the Skeleton Warrior and the Oni-bi then carefully go the left at the edge of the ice to find the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
Make your way back to the building where the Onyudo spawned and go through the blue amrita cluster (butterflies are behind the building). Just to the right pass a smashed, burnt building will be the Kodama behind a smashable crate. - Seventh Kodama:
From the Sixth Kodama continue forward then take out / run pass the One-eyed Oni staying to the right, go through the building taking care of the Amrita Fiends ambush. Climb the ladder, go across the rooftop, cross the small ice bridge then at the end, drop down to the left to find the Kodama. - Eighth Kodama:
Go through the blue amrita cluster from the Seventh Kodama, go forward along the path then through the broken partition at the end on the walkway. To the right of you will be a Nurikabe, get pass it using either Gestures or combat. Once outside, go right smashing the crates / urns at the end to find the Kodama.
The Demon Of Mount Hiei
Level 62 Main Mission, 8 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission, go forward taking the first left, at the end of the path will be a tree to your right that has the Kodama behind. - Second Kodama:
Go back on yourself from the First Kodama making your way over to the left smash through the large amrita cluster next to the One-eyed Oni. Stick to the right wall and follow it around to the edge of a ledge through several smashable crates to find the Kodama. - Third Kodama:
Proceed through the mission to where the Onyudo and the Yoki are waiting for you next to a large amrita cluster. Around behind the cluster will be a building you can not enter. Just to the left of the steps is a lantern, head behind the lantern to find the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
Smash the large amrita cluster next to the Third Kodama and drop down the hole taking care the Amrita Fiend down here doesn’t ambush you. To the right of the doors will be a smashable crate in front of a bookcase, smash the crate to be able to collect the Kodama underneath the bookcase. - Fifth Kodama:
Go through the doors, taking a right up the ladder, take a right up the slope then tuck in behind the building on your right. Behind the building next to a crate will be the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
From the Fifth Kodama, go up the small grass slope then on the right will be a smashed, burnt building which has a shrine inside. To the left of the building is a lantern behind which will be the Kodama. - Seventh Kodama:
Proceed through the mission, going through the One-eyed Oni and the large amrita cluster. From here, head up and to the right, just as the path goes around to the right. Look to the left next to a very small structure with 2 smashable crates next to it, to the left of the structure is the Kodama. - Eighth Kodama:
Continue through the mission to bottom of the stairs that will need you to the, White Tiger boss fight. Look at the boss door then turn around, go round to the right where a Dweller will rise. Defeat the Dweller then look to your right to find the Kodama.
That’s all 25 Kodama in the Kinki Region.
Tokai Region
There are 25 Kodama to collect throughout the Tokai Region in the following missions:
Collect all 25 Kodama to gain access to every Kodama Blessing in the Tokai Region.
The Iga Escape
Level 70 Main Mission, 8 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission, head forward and right, go through the revolving door then smash the crates / urns to the left of the chest to find the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Go up the ladder next to the First Kodama and make your way left around the balcony, stay left around the walkway then in the top right corner, drop down through the trap door in the floor. The Kodama is in this small room in plain sight. - Third Kodama:
Continue through the mission until you are outside in the gardens, head to the left side to find a well, next to the door you can open leading back to the first shrine. The Kodama will be behind the well. - Fourth Kodama:
From the Fourth Kodama, head to the left side of the gardens, as the fence drops off you can tuck behind it to the large bamboo fence. In a some plants here will be the Kodama. - Fifth Kodama:
Go up and around the gardens crossing the bridge with the Ninjas before you get to the second shrine, drop off to the left at the end of the bridge to a grassy ledge, go to the left side of the ledge to find the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
From the Fifth Kodama, go to where the ninja with the Hand Cannon is / was (if you killed him already) then drop down to where the Amrita Fiend is waiting for you. Against the left wall just as you drop down are a set of smashable crates, smash through them to find the Kodama. - Seventh Kodama:
Proceed through the mission until you have flipped the temple (hit the screen in the back room that is “Held shut by some strange power”). Once you are pass the spike trap that falls down on you. Head forward taking a right through the revolving door, go around and through another revolving door. Built into the right wall is a Nurikabe, get pass it using either Gestures or combat then in the left side of the room next to a Hot Spring will be the Kodama. - Eighth Kodama:
In the same room where the Nurikabe was leading to the Seventh Kodama, go to the back wall, left of the Nurikabe will be a revolving door with some symbols above it on a wooden board. Just pass this door is the Kodama.
Memories Of Death-lilies
Level 78 Main Mission, 7 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission head forward down the hill, stay left pass the Yoki, go up the hill pass the Yoki with a boulder. Make your way down around the waters edge staying left, take a left when you can down the hill to find another Yoki with a boulder in a stream. Go up the stream to find a waterfall, look to the right of the waterfall to find the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Take a right from the stream where you found the First Kodama, drop down to the right pass the Hot Spring. Follow the path around to the left then drop off onto a ledge to find the Kodama. - Third Kodama:
Drop down from the Second Kodama, head forward dropping down again into a stream, go up and around to the right, down the hill pass the Wheelmonk to find a building with 2 Karakasa Umbrellas inside. To the right of this building is the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
Directly opposite the Third Kodamas’ location will be a small path. Take the first left up the slope to find the Kodama. - Fifth Kodama:
Proceed through the mission to where the second shrine is through the red doors and pass the 2 One-eyed Imps, rather than going left up to where the Seiryuji Temple Key is, stay going straight through a courtyard where a Karasu Tengu will spawn to find a building. Behind this building is the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
Once you have collected the Seiryuji Temple Key, drop down one level off the edge of the tower, turn to your left to find the Kodama. - Seventh Kodama:
Use the Seiryuji Temple Key to unlock the red doors then look directly right once through the doors to see the Kodama.
The Defiled Castle
Level 87 Main Mission, 6 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission, head forward going down the stairs into the sewage water, go pass the large Skeleton Warrior with the Axe then around to the left up the ladder. Smash through the purple amrita cluster making your way through the right-side exit. Follow the path until you come to a balcony, go around to the left side to find the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Drop down off the balcony from the First Kodamas’ location then head forward taking the first left into an open area where on the right side there will be a Yoki patrolling. Get pass it then head to the top right corner, smash through the wooden pots to find the Kodama. - Third Kodama:
Go up the stairs where an Amrita Fiend will spawn from the Second Kodamas’ Location, go around to the right to see a purple amrita cluster. Smash through the cluster then go left into the small pool where you will find the Kodama to your left in the corner. - Fourth Kodama:
Proceed through the mission until you’re outside in the courtyard, go up the small stairs at the back of the area on your left to see several smashable crates in front of you. Smash through them to find the Kodama. - Fifth Kodama:
Continue up pass the Honda Tadakatsu boss door to an area where an Onyudo will spawn as well as having a Dweller above you throwing bombs down. To the left of this area is a ladder leading up to a wooden platform. Next to a Soldiers’ corpse will be the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
Continue through the mission to where the Okatsu boss door is, rather than going through to fight her, take a right out onto a walkway then follow it round to the right to find the Kodama.
The Trail of the Master
Level 79 Sub Mission, 4 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission, head down the right side to find a spiral staircase, to the left of the stairs is a smashable pot where the Kodama will be. - Second Kodama:
Go up the spiral staircase next to the First Kodama then take a left through a partition wall where there will be a Yoki, a large Dweller and a Biwa-boku Boku. Kill them all then head to the right of where the Biwa-boku Boku was to find the Kodama behind a screen. - Third Kodama:
Go back out the way you came in from the Second Kodama, taking a right then follow the path around until you fall through the floor. You will land on a set of rafters, go forward, take the first left then the first right. Go to the end being careful as you go around the pillar then drop down onto a set of bookcases which you need to carefully go all the way around of to collect the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
Make your way back up the where you fell through the floor to get the Third Kodama, this time go forward and take your first right then when you get to a broken section of rafter on your left, drop down carefully proceeding forward then right. Carefully drop down onto the bookcases to collect the Kodama.
That’s all 25 Kodama in the Tokai Region
Sekigahara Region
There are 25 Kodama to collect in the Sekigahara Region which are found throughout the following missions:
Collect all 25 Kodama to enable every Kodama Blessing for use in the Sekigahara Region.
Immortal Flame
Level 96 Main Mission, 9 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission, follow the path then take a left rather than a right where you will find a smashed piece of roof, behind of which will be the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Going from the First Kodamas’ location, head back on yourself going left, stay left through the water pass the Yoki then go through the building, cross over to behind the adjacent building, go to the top right corner next to the wall to find the Kodama behind a barrel of water. - Third Kodama:
Continue through the mission pass the dual revolver Soldier then take a left, following the path up the stairs, once you’re through the open wooden doors, look to your right to find a Nurikabe, get pass it using either Gestures or combat. Once you’re through, look to your left, smashing the 2 water barrels to find the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
From the Third Kodama, go back to where the Nurikabe was going forward then right, go to the first left where there’s no fire on the floor then go behind the pile of rubble to find the Kodama. - Fifth Kodama:
Go to the end of the area from the Fourth Kodama to find a bridge where a Wheelmonk will spawn. Before crossing the bridge, dash left through the fire then make your way under the bridge struts to find the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
Cross the bridge from the Fifth Kodama, open the doors on the building to your left, head up the stairs taking care not to fall through the floor in front of the Dweller, go around through the exploding barrels, being careful of the Soldier with the Hand Cannon. Go forward opening the wooden door then once outside, stay to the right of the building in front of you then slowly go around behind the building to find the Kodama just on the edge of the area. - Seventh Kodama:
Drop down to the stairs from the Sixth Kodama, head up the stairs around down the path where a Wheelmonk will spawn and rush you. Deal with it then head up the ladder to your right. You need to very carefully go to the top left section of roof tile then drop down to the roof tiles below on the left, carefully navigate your way around the roof tiles to find the Kodama. - Eighth Kodama:
Proceed through the mission to the second shrine then go up and around pass the Yoki, climb the ladder then drop down, open the doors of the building to your left and head through to your right. Go left into the small room then in drop down through the floor where you will face off against a Wheelmonk, go to where the stairs lead down (to get your bearings), look down the stairs then turn around, going into a small room with another Wheelmonk. In the top right corner of the room will be the Kodama. - Ninth Kodama:
Head down the stairs mentioned in the Eighth Kodamas’ location guide, heading outside then look to the left to find the Kodama behind a large rock.
Sekigahara
Level 103 Main Mission, 7 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission, go forward through the gulley then up and around to the left, pass the left needed to proceed through the mission and go to the end of the path to find the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Proceed through the mission crossing the wooden bridge, take a left down pass Otani Yoshitsugu boss area. Following the path take a left behind the rocks to find the Kodama. - Third Kodama:
Continue through the mission after defeating Otani Yoshitsugu, go down the slopes to the wooden bridge. From the bridge, go over to the right side of the area to find the second shrine. Go left from the shrine to the next building where you’ll come under cannon fire, just to the left of the building is a small break in a fence you can go through, once in this area, go to the end behind a smashed watchtower to find the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
Head to the far right section of the mission to find a stream, at the end of the stream will be a smashed section of a watchtower, in front of which will be the Kodama. - Fifth Kodama:
Cross the area in front of building I mentioned in the Third Kodamas’ location guide going directly opposite, go behind the wooden barricade then head to the end of this section to find the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
Going from the Fifth Kodama, head right following the stream up and round, go up the slope around to the left, get to the fence on your right. Go to the end of the fence then carefully go around the fence ensuring you don’t fall off to find the Kodama at the end of the narrow path. - Seventh Kodama:
From the Sixth Kodama’s location, drop down and go right pass the corpse piles, follow the path to the end staying to the left of the small building going down the ramp where you’ll come to a stream, take a right into a small section where you will find 3 statues. To the right of the statues will be the Kodama.
The Source of Evil
Level 111 Main Mission, 5 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission, go forward and up the first set of stairs, drop down into the small stream then come up and out to the left, follow the right fence around to a burnt smashed tree, behind the tree is the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Going from the first Kodamas’ location, cross the open area pass the Yoki with the Kusarigama and the One-eyed Oni. Go to the second building just pass a well to find 2 smashable crates. Smash through the crates to find the Kodama. - Third Kodama:
Stay against the left wall heading towards Gasha-dokuro from the Second Kodamas’ location, head into the first building on your left. Inside the building will be a pile of wood and a white cooker. Look in the cooker to find the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
Proceed through the mission to the red amrita cluster on the far left side (when you’re looking at Gasha-dokuro) pass the Onryoki. Drop down into the gulley and go left, go forward to find a tree leaning to the left on your right. In front of the tree will be the Kodama. - Fifth Kodama:
From the Fourth Kodamas’ location, head around to the left pass the fire and climb the watchtower to find the Kodama.
The Watcher in Darkness
Level 116 Sub Mission, 4 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission, head forward then go straight through the red arch, left, right, left to be above an open area with the Soldiers and the mages. Go left once the One-eyed Oni has spawned, smash through the crates in front of the ramp to find the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Going from the First Kodamas’ location, turn around, head for the ladder opposite (the red doors will be on your left), open the wooden door, go right then into the very small room on the right to find the Kodama. - Third Kodama:
Go back to the red doors you have passed twice in the large open area with the Soldier’s, Mages and One-eyed Oni, open the doors and head down to find a temple. Go around to the right of the temple, next to 2 Mages and a Soldier, just in front of the wall next to the temple balcony will be the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
Head around to the left of the temple from the Third Kodamas’ location, go through the path, use the shrine if you need to replenish your elixir stocks. Smash the 4 poison rocks and defeat the Onryoki, you will then be able to collect the Kodama which will be directly opposite the doors you came through.
That’s all 25 Kodama in the Sekigahara Region.
Omi Region
The Omi Region has 25 Kodama which are found in the following missions:

A Defiled Holy Mountain
Level 120 Main Mission, 9 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission, take the first right to find the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Go through the mission to the open green area with the slopes at the back (after the first set of caves), go up the first slope then on the second one, there will be a small alcove with a corpse next to the entrance. At the back of the alcove is the Kodama. - Third Kodama:
Go up the ramp from the Second Kodamas’ location heading right then take the first left. Go down the ladder pass the Karasu Tengu then head down the first ramp on the left, drop off to the right onto a ledge taking care of the Dwellers’ ambush. At the end of the ledge is the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
From the Third Kodamas’ location, head down the ramp you dropped off to find a small building with a Yoki outside, behind the building will be the Kodama. - Fifth Kodama:
Proceed through the mission going up and through the caves where the Yoki will ambush you, cross the first narrow stone bridge then take the first left into an alcove to find the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
Continue through the level from the Fifth Kodamas’ location until you’re outside, rather than going left, go right, staying on this level to find the Kodama at the end of the ledge. - Seventh Kodama:
Go the shrine next to the stairs leading to the boss then look to the right of the shrine to find the Kodama. - Eighth Kodama:
From the bottom of the stairs leading up to the boss, go directly right to be on a ledge above a bridge which will be on your right. To your left is a large rock formation, go behind the rocks to find the Kodama right on the edge of the precipice. - Ninth Kodama:
Climb the stairs that lead up to the boss then rather than going through the entrance, go around to the right of the balcony to find the Kodama.
The Samurai From Sawayama
Level 127 Main Mission, 9 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission, head forward going pass the Yoki, stay to the left taking care as you go across the trap that activates 3 fire arrows. Go up the stairs to your right to find a Nurikabe, get pass it using either Gestures or combat then go down the stairs, take out the Harinobo where you will find the Kodama to the right of the area. - Second Kodama
Please Note: You will need a Hand Cannon or a bomb to get through to this Kodamas’ location. Head left pass the first amrita lantern taking care not to fall through the floor. Go right into the first alcove, smashing through the crates to find a secret area. Follow the path around going up the stairs to the right. Use the Hand Cannon or bomb on the exploding barrels. Go through the now opened path to find a cell as well as the Kodama. - Third Kodama:
Proceed through the mission destroying the second amrita lantern where you can open the sliding wooden doors at the back of the room. Go left then first right pass the lightning Amrita Fiend. Take a right going down both flights of stairs, take out the water Amrita Fiend and the Skeleton Warrior, go round to the right to find the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
Going from the Third Kodamas’ location, go forward then right before you drop off the ledge, follow the path up to a cell where you will find the Kodama under a table. - Fifth Kodama:
Please Note: Follow the next step to get the Gaoler’s Keychain before proceeding forward as it makes things a lot simpler. The Gaoler’s Keychain will be necessary to open a cell leading to the Eighth Kodamas location. From the Fourth Kodamas’ location, head back down taking the second left, follow the path down taking a right where you will come to a Wheelmonk. Go to the end of the path then in the next area, kill the One-eyed Oni and collect the Gaoler’s Keychain which you will need for later, it’s just a lot easier collecting the Keychain now rather than trying to find your way here later. Once you have collected the Gaoler’s Keychain look at the staircase at the back of the room then go through the open door to your right, follow the short path up and around to find the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
Navigate your way back to the ledge I mentioned in the Fourth Kodamas’ location (go back pass the Wheelmonk then take a left). Drop down off the ledge, head left then follow the path straight and around to the right where a Skeleton Warrior will spawn, directly behind the Skeleton Warrior will be the Kodama (if you go under the overhead spider’s webs, you’ve gone to far, turn around and take the first right). - Seventh Kodama:
From the Sixth Kodamas’ location, go up and around out of the area the only way you can, go up the stairs pass the Skeleton Warrior with the Hand Cannon and unlock the double wooden doors. Go to the cell directly in front of you which has 2 powerful Yoki inside of it, unlock the cell using Gaoler’s Keychain. Kill both Yoki where you will then be able to collect the Kodama against the back wall as you go into the cell. - Eighth Kodama:
Continue through the mission to the spiral staircase with the boulder. Go to the top of the stairs to find a stack of wood, smash the wood then head through, dropping down onto another spiral staircase, follow this down. Carry on along the path to the right turn, just next to 2 pieces of wood sticking out of the wall vertically will be the Kodama on your right side. - Ninth Kodama:
Go up through the level to where the Giant Spider spawns, get pass it into the next room with an amrita lantern a water Amrita Fiend and a Wheelmonk. Over to the right side of the room behind a pile of burnt bags will be the Kodama.
The Demon King Revealed
Level 135 Main Mission, 7 Kodama.
- First Kodama:
From the start of the mission, head down the stairs then look to your left to find the Kodama. - Second Kodama:
Head back to the start of the mission then take a left opening the wooden doors, go up the amrita ramp then at the top of the first staircase, carefully drop off to the right onto a small ledge. Look to your right to find the Kodama. - Third Kodama:
Proceed through the mission opening the next set of double wooden doors, defeat the lightning Amrita Fiend and the Fox Spirit. There is a white stone ramp heading up to the next section, just to the right of the ramp before going up it is the Kodama. - Fourth Kodama:
Go up the ramp from the Third Kodamas’ location taking a left through the building, once outside, drop off the egde of the section to a small ledge on your right. Carefully go up the narrow ledge where you will need to defeat 2 Karasu Tengus (make good use of your living weapon), climb the ladder to be on top of a narrow wall. Go to the left of the wall to find the Kodama. - Fifth Kodama:
From the Fourth Kodamas’ location, drop down and go right, drop down the amrita platforms, head up the stairs then down the stairs to your left, go right to find a wall. Behind this wall on a small ledge will be the Kodama. - Sixth Kodama:
Proceed through the mission to pass the amrita path where your colleagues are left behind. Go to the shrine to get your bearings. Head to the right going down the stairs in front of you. Head around to the right and defeat the large Skeleton Warrior with an Axe where you will then be able to collect the Kodama against the back wall. - Seventh Kodama:
Head back to the shrine form the Sixth Kodamas’ location then go left through the wooden doors leading to the Nue fight. Ensure you have defeated the Yoki before attempting this next section. Once through the doors, very carefully go to your right onto a very narrow ledge, where you will find the Kodama at the very end of the ledge.
That’s all 25 Kodama in the Omi Region and as long as you have collected all 150 Kodama, your Trophy will unlock as well.
