Here is the Nioh Spa Lover Trophy Guide. There are a total of 20 Hot Springs to find and bathe in throughout NIOH, the Hot Springs themselves are found in areas of a mission that you will have to go out of your way to find. In order to bathe in a Hot Spring, you need to go into the water and hold Circle hold where you will strip then sit down in the water until you feel like moving again.
Providing you have defeated any enemies close to a Hot Spring, they can provide some relaxing respite from the game for a time. The majority of the Hot Springs are found in main missions, however, the mission, The Trail of the Master, level 79 sub mission in the Tokai Region contains 7 Hot Springs. All 20 Hot Springs can be found at the following locations:
Hot Spring 1
Deep in the Shadows, level 12 main mission, Kyushu Region.
Continue through the mission until you get to the ledge leading through to the second shrine in the level. Just before you go through the to the cave where the shrine is located, you can walk down to the right to find the Hot Spring against the edge of the cliff.
Hot Spring 2
The Spirit Stone Slumbers, level 19 main mission, Kyushu Region.
After you have defeated Nue and have descended into the caves, make your way to the area where the Sentries are located and locate the Shrine down here. From the shrine, head forward then left up the stairs, make your way over to the top left corner, climb the stairs the follow the path, go down the stairs taking a right to come to a small room where you’ll find the Hot Spring.
Hot Spring 3
The Silver Mine Writhes, level 27 main mission, Chugoku Region.
From the starting shrine, drop down to the left then stay left pass the poison rock, head around to the left then climb the ladder. Make your way around the platform looking down to see a small wooden ledge you can just drop down, it might take you a couple of attempts but it is doable, ensure there aren’t any enemies close to you then unequip your armour / weapons to make yourself lighter. Once on the ledge, head through the passage and look to your right to find the Hot Spring.
Hot Spring 4
The Ocean Roars Again, level 38 main mission, Chugoku Region.
Make your way forward and across to the right side of the area where the Lesser Umi-bozu will drop down on you from above and you have a Skeleton Warrior archer to your left. In the far left corner, open the double doors then make your way through navigating across the narrow walkways until a Yoki spawns. Use the second shrine if you need to to replenish your stocks or to get your bearings. From the shrine, head to the ladder behind the wall then cross the rooftops. Go left pass the large Skeleton Warrior with the Axe above the crashed ship. Drop down onto the Lesser Umi-bozu then take a right being careful of the Yoki ambush. Follow the path around to the left to find the Hot Spring.
Hot Spring 5
Spider Nest Castle, level 47 main mission, Kinki Region.
As you are going through the mission, you will need to kill 2 giant spiders, kill the second giant spider where you will receive the Hiragomo Fragment II then head through the building to find the Key to the Castle Gates. From here, you need to go to the top-left corner of the area to find the Hot Spring.
Hot Spring 6
Falling Snow, level 55 main mission, Kinki Region.
Clear the blue amrita cluster to the right of the first shrine (progress through the level), follow the path taking the right exit once in the building. Take your first left through the building following the walkway. Stay on the left path to find the Hot Spring.
Hot Spring 7
The Demon of Mount Hiei, level 62 main mission, Kinki Region.
Go through the mission nearly all the way to the boss door, there will be a Nue down in a gully you will need to defeat to earn the Nue Slayer Trophy. To the right of the path before you drop down to fight the Nue will be a path, follow this path to find the Hot Spring.
Hot Spring 8
The Iga Escape, level 70 main mission, Tokai Region.
Head through the level to the second shrine then go up the stairs, rotate the room (go to the last room and smash the partition), head back through the area staying straight. Go right through the breakable wall then staying on the path, go through 2 revolving wall sections. In the next room will be 2 Ninjas, take them out to find a Nurikabe on the right wall. Remove it either through gestures or combat where you will find the Hot Spring.
Hot Spring 9
Memories of Death-lilies, level 78 main mission, Tokai Region.
From the start of the mission, head down and left take another left where a Yoki will spawn. Go up the hill to find another Yoki in front of a boulder, send the boulder down the hill (not essential but it saves being hit by it) then follow the pathway around to the left of the water, at the end. Take a left behind some rocks and go to the bottom of this section pass another Yoki waiting next to another boulder. Go straight pass the boulder to find the Hot Spring.
Hot Spring 10
The Trail of the Master, level 79 sub mission, Tokai Region.
Make your way right from the start of the mission, open the door then head through, take out the Yoki to receive the Wood Tile “I”, the first Hot Spring is to the left section of the pool.
Hot Spring 11

Once you have used the first Hot Spring (Hot Spring 10), head to the right side of the pool to use the next Hot Spring.
Hot Spring 12
The Trail of the Master, level 79 sub mission, Tokai Region.
Heading back to the starting shrine from Hot Spring 11, this time, take a left through the door, head through where a large dweller a fire oni-bi and a lightning oni-bi will spawn. The Hot Spring is in the centre of this room.
Hot Spring 13

At the back of the room where you used Hot Spring 12, is a Nurikabe, get pass it using either Gestures or combat to find the next Hot Spring.
Hot Spring 14
The Trail of the Master, level 79 sub mission, Tokai Region.
From Hot Spring 13, head out through the door in the back of the area and up the spiral staircase. Take a right then smash the 2 stacked wooden crates, head through the passage where a Lesser Umi-bozu will jump out of the Hot Spring you need.
Hot Spring 15
The Trail of the Master, level 79 sub mission, Tokai Region.
Make your way forward from Hot Spring 14, taking out the Onyudo to receive Wood Tile “Ro”. To your left will be the Hot Spring.
Hot Spring 16
The Trail of the Master, level 79 sub mission, Tokai Region.
Proceed through the mission to the lowest level where the elevator is. A large dweller will spawn in the final Hot Spring in this mission.
Hot Spring 17
Immortal Flame, level 96 main mission, Sekigahara Region.
Head through the mission to the second shrine (pass the Wheelmonk that rushes you) then go left up the ramp pass the red-eyed Yoki then go up the ladder and into the building, careful not to drop through the floor. Make your way around to the staircase that will take you up to the Saika Magoichi boss fight, before going up the stairs, drop down the hole on the right to find the Hot Spring.
Hot Spring 18
A Defiled Holy Mountain, level 120 main mission, Omi Region.
Go through the mission until you get to the stairs that will lead you up to the Ishida Mitsunari boss fight, look at the stairs then head directly right, to find a bridge that has a Karasu Tengu on it. Before you cross the bridge, drop down to the right, follow the walkway around and up the hill to find a small building, inside of which will be the Hot Spring.
Hot Spring 19
The Samurai from Sawayama, level 130 main mission, Omi Region.
From the start of the mission, head forward then stick to the left wall pass the Amrita Fiend, careful not to fall into the crevice. At the end of the passage, take a left down the stairs. In the next area, smash the amrita lantern, kill the Amrita Fiend, Oni-bi and dweller enemies then open the door against the back wall. Make a right then go down both flights of stairs. Go through the passage to taking your first left (very easy to miss) where you will find the Hot Spring.
Hot Spring 20
The Demon King Revealed, level 135 main mission, Omi Region.
Proceed through the mission until you come to the shrine after the amrita bridge that falls away leaving your 2 NPC colleagues behind. From the shrine, head right then left, go down the stairs then into the first room on the left. Against the right wall will be a Nurikabe. Get pass it either with Gestures or combat to find the Hot Spring.
Once you have bathed in all 20 Hot Springs, your Trophy will unlock.
