Attain ‘Encyclopedia’ status in Planet Zoology Scanned

This is quite simple, you need two items for this depending upon your difficulty settings. the first is a must, its called “Economy Scanner”, this is available within the Nexus, at the far back within the upgrade station that’s the first on the left. Next will be a “Cadmium Drive”, its available in the same area. Then to find planets that have one species is quite simple. Red star systems have this. Look for ones not displaying any information and warp to those, the economy scanner will identify these systems very easily. You do need the correct drives to visit each system but this can be turned off in the accessibility menu without blocking any of your trophies. Once you have warped to these systems look for planets that have descriptions like:

  1. Bladed.
  2. Breached.
  3. Bubbling.
  4. Cabled.
  5. Calcified.
  6. Capped.
  7. Columned.
  8. Contoured.
  9. Finned.
  10. Fissured.
  11. Foaming.
  12. Fractured.
  13. Fragmented.
  14. Frothing.
  15. Fungal.
  16. Hexagonal.
  • Mechanical.
  • Metallic.
  • Metallurgic.
  • Ossified.
  • Petrified.
  • Pillared.
  • Plated.
  • Rattling.
  • Scaly.
  • Sharded.
  • Shattered.
  • Shell-Strewn.
  • Skeletal.
  • Spined.
  • Sporal.

These planets will have one species on and should be quite easy to find. some systems have 1 planet, the most I’ve come across is three in one system.

No Man's Sky A Space Odyssey trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

64 G

A Space Odyssey
Attain ‘Discoverer’ status in Space Exploration

This is quite simple. Use the hyperdrive and warp around. Very simple. You can use standard Warp cells or Warp Hypercores. The standard ones are very cheap to make and can be crafted on every planet.

  • Antimatter Housing: 30 Oxygen, 50 Ferrite dust.
  • Antimatter: 25 Chromatic  Metal, 20 Condensed Carbon
  • Then finally: 1 Antimatter, 1 Antimatter Housing = 1 Warp Cell.
No Man's Sky The Diamond Age trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

64 G

The Diamond Age
Attain ‘Magnate’ status in Most Units Accrued

There’s quite a few ways to get money in the game, from farming Gek-Nip, Piracy and Bounty hunting to selling crashed ships and looting materials. In the accessibility area you can turn off costs with out affecting trophies here. Money is very easy to come across, even waiting around on the Nexus might get a kind player to drop some AI Valves on you.

No Man's Sky Citizen of the Galaxy trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

64 G

Citizen of the Galaxy
Attain ‘Babelfish’ status in Words Collected

This can be done a few ways. First by going to space stations and talking to the aliens there, they will trade you words for materials or relics. You can also buy cartographic charts to find alien monoliths that have 3 word stones at each.

No Man's Sky What Mad Universe trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

64 G

What Mad Universe
Attain ‘Ambassador’ status in Alien Colonist Encounters

Attain ‘Ambassador’ status in Alien Colonist Encounters. Space stations are the best place for this. It will also tick the box for warps too. Just land in a space station. Talk to NPCs and then warp to a new system and repeat.

No Man's Sky The Forever War trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

64 G

The Forever War
Attain ‘Legend’ status in Ships Destroyed

For this you will need shield and photon cannon upgrades. Nothing too fancy. It helps to have a fighter class ship and some pulse engine upgrades too. I will also suggest to have starship shield batteries to charge up. If you are fighting the sentinels then doing this near a space station will allow you to get rid of them quite easily by landing inside it, alternatively the Nexus will serve the same purpose too!

No Man's Sky The Sentinel trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

64 G

The Sentinel
Attain ‘Everlasting’ status in Extreme Survival

Most guides are incorrect with this. It says you need upgrades and all this fancy stuff. In actual fact remove all your upgrades and use the terrain manipulator to dig a tunnel. Look to the bottom left of your screen. The hazard protection and o2 should be going down fast. Wait until about 75% of that remains and walk into the tunnel until that neither gains or loses anything and afk it there. Turn off enemy attacks in the accessibility menu and just plug in your controller overnight a couple of times. This does require you to be on an extreme Planet. It says it in red on the bottom left when you land. Look for the weather stuff, it should be quite obvious.

  • Scorched.
  • Frozen.
  • Toxic.

Are just some example names and here will be a Portal code for you to convert into glyphs using the No Man’s Sky Decoder: 0940:0082:01A2:00C4

No Man's Sky Have Spacesuit - Will Travel trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

64 G

Have Spacesuit – Will Travel
Attain ‘Adventurer’ status in On-foot Exploration

Attain ‘Adventurer’ status in On-foot exploration. Run forest run. This should pop naturally if not grab some batteries and o2 and just run around. Low atmosphere or Paradise Planets will make this easier.

That’s the No Man’s Sky trophy guide complete, I hope it helped you through the game.
