Powerwash Simulator 2 is fairly similar in setup to the original Powerwash Simulator game where you choose a series of Powerwashers, Nozzles and attachments then go off and clean every element of a job which sounds simply but it is amazingly satisfying getting those dings and flashes as each part becomes clean. You have a task list you can open to find any parts you’re missing or want to clean first (or last depending on the trophy requirements) as well as some quality of life improvements.
New to the second game is a home base where you will control your jobs either by interacting with the job map or going into the menus as well as going into the warehouse and placing furniture you can purchase with the new Powerwash points, rewards received for being efficient in your cleans. From the start of the game work through the first few jobs building you bank and point balances where you can unlock the following trophies:
- All Moved In.
- Home Decor.
- Taking Note.
- Geo-Cashing.
- Gnome from Home.
- Purr Bonding.
- Dressed for Success.
- Radical Rebrand.
- High Pressure.
As you work through career there will be specific requirements you need to meet such as clean an item first or clean an item last or maybe clean a series of items in a specific order. You will, as you work through all 38 jobs need to also upgrade your Powerwasher maybe for a better model but you will certainly need long and extra long hose attachments which are invaluable to reach those harder sections of a job. The career specific trophies you need to focus on as you progress although that said you can also meet the requirements in free play as well are:
- It All Comes Out in the Wash.
- Spin Doctor.
- Message Received.
- Hatching a Plan.
- Flying Start.
- Doggy Bath.
- Make it all Shine.

- Deep Lore.
- Drop the Ball.
- Tea Time.
- Where’s Woolly?.
- Ticket to Ride.
- Glissando!.
- Door to Door.
- Front Row Seats.
- Hit the Lights.
- Rise and Shine.
With all of Career complete and as above I mentioned you need to be buying new Powerwashers along with their attachments, in doing so you will be working towards several trophies so as you have now finished Career you will have enough money to ensure you can purchase every Powerwasher along with their respective attachments and with the Solar System Exhibit job complete you can then purchase a Powerwasher skin which will unlock these trophies as you progress through the Powerwashers:

Once the job has been completed and you have only used the Double Turbo Nozzle you will unlock Double Top.
Hatching a Plan
In the Bandstand job, clean the Hatch last
The Bandstand is the 11th Career job and the Hatch can be found in the centre of the floor inside the structure so ensure you meticulously clean and complete every other component of the Bandstand ensuring you leave the Hatch for the very last element needed to complete the job which then unlocks Hatching a Plan.

In the Solar System job, clean the Sun, then all of the planets in order from the Sun
The Solar System job refers to the Solar System Exhibit job which is the 26th job in Career and is a large clean where you clean the Sun, planets and various detritus around the exhibit. To unlock Cosmic Ordering you need to clean the Sun in the centre then clean the planets in the following order:
- Mercury.
- Venus.
- Earth. Now with Earth you need to only clean the outer section. Do not clean any of the sections of Earth in the cut out section as it will negate the trophy.
- Mars.
- Jupiter.
- Saturn.
Saturn’s Rings. - Uranus.
Uranus’s Rings. - Neptune.
It’s imperative you don’t clean any of the pedestals, name stands or anything else before you have cleaned the Sun and the Planets as Cosmic Ordering is a lot stricter than the other trophies in Powerwash Simulator 2. It took me several tries to get it to unlock so make good use of the Yellow and Red Nozzles if your aim isn’t very good.

Go around the back of the gas station to find a small playground, jump up onto the platform where the ball is and very carefully move it across the bridge whilst ensuring it doesn’t fall. If the ball does fall then pick it up and put it on the top of the slide. You need to crouch down and blast the ball with the Red Nozzle towards the slide ensuring you get enough momentum to get it over the lip and onto the slide. As long as the ball touches the slide on the way down you will unlock Drop the Ball.

The Teapot Tea Room is the 7th job in Career and you need to place a Gnome on each of the 6 seats around the 2 tables to the left of the house from your starting point. The first 5 Gnomes are easy to find as they are dotted around the house and the edge of the area where as the sixth Gnome will be chilling on the roof so get up there using either the scaffold, ladder or scissor lift and retrieve the Gnome. Once you have all 6 Gnomes on their respective seats you will then unlock Tea Time.

Door to Door
In the Motel job, clean all the room Doors, Door Handles and Door Numbers first
The Motel is the 24th job in career and one which has 6 doors you need to clean carefully. There are 3 doors on the lower floor and 3 on the first floor and you will need to clean the doors, door handles and numbers of all 6 doors. If you clean the lower wooden plank or the frame it will negate Door to Door unlocking so use either the Yellow or Red Nozzle for the lower sections to avoid the wood then with all 6 doors, door handles and door numbers before anything else to unlock Door to Door.
Front Row Seats
In the Theater job, clean the entire Front Seating Row first
The Theater is the 23rd job in Career and the front row seats have a fair amount you need to clean including the base and back cushions, base plate, numbers on the end of aisles and the armrests. Ensure you clean the entire front row before cleaning anything else to unlock Front Row Seats.
