  • Approx. time to 100%: 40+ Hours skill dependant.

In Powerwash Simulator you assume the role of a Power Washer just starting out in business with some fairly low level cleaning gear and as you progress through Career Mode you will work your way up to being the ultimate Power Washer wielding a 3 tipped Power Washer with ultimate cleaning power. For each job you will be required to clean every required item which will appear in the top left of the screen as you aim at it then the bar will shrink down the cleaner the object or item gets until it is completely clean. The object / item will then flash blue and that will be considered clean allowing you to move on to the next dirty piece of the job.

You are free to clean the jobs in whichever order you like but if you are going for the platinum then you will need to clean several jobs in specific ways which is easier if you get to grips with how the Nozzles work. Each pressure washer from the starting model right up to the PRO will have several Nozzles equipped from White which has a wide spread but weak cleaning power to the Red Nozzle which is a focused jet stream of water with heavy cleaning power but low width as a consequence so choose the right Nozzle for the job.

There are als0 Cleaning Liquids which can really speed up how a job is handled and there is a fluid for every material you will encounter in the game so ensure you have a cleaning bottle then use a fluid to shred through a dirty area providing of course the liquid matches the surface. If you have some stubborn dirt on plastic, using a stone cleaner won’t be effective but if you then use Plastic Liquid you will be a lot more efficient at getting the most stubborn of dirt removed,

There are also several ways to make the game easier along with using new Power Washers, attachments and liquids especially for some clean specific trophies and that would be to open the checklist in a job then click on any item to highlight it which is not only useful to figure out what some items are but also near the end of a job you will have a checklist appear on screen which will tell you what 3 items you have left to clean. Highlighting an item will make it glow white which can save you a lot of time for those hard to see or reach corners of dirt that you may have missed.

From the start of the game, spend time cleaning the Van learning how the mechanics work then from there if you aren’t familiar with the game, keep playing through Career learning as you go as you can go into Free Play and get the majority of trophies there although you will need to have 100% completed a job before it will appear in Career Mode, if you are familiar with Powerwash Simulator then work through the first few jobs in specific working towards unlocking:

You will now be well on your way to getting enough money to upgrade your Power Washer, attachments, liquids and appearance so get the following trophies unlocked:

Now you will be well equipped enough to go through the mid game which has some hefty challenges so work through the Career to around job 30 whilst working on unlocking:

With those trophies done and unlocked you should now have enough money to buy the best Power Washers so get in the Shop and unlock both:

Then we are going to go through and complete Career Mode focusing on unlocking the following trophies along the way. If you fail any of the requirements for any trophy you can always try again in Free Play:

Now that the majority of the trophies have been earnt there’s only a handful left so providing you have everything boxed off above you can now work towards unlocking:

With the 40 trophies unlocked throughout Powerwash Simulator you will then unlock:

Powerwash Simulator Powerful Pressure Purist trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

Powerful Pressure Purist
Completely clean the Van using only the red nozzle

The Van is the first cleaning job you will have in the game and cleaning it with the Red Nozzle is probably the longest way of cleaning it, maybe the white but the red is up there as it fires such a small albeit powerful stream of water. I’d recommend going in circles or squaring sections like the roof and the sides. There are times where you will need the Red Nozzle as the grime is baked on but for the most part it’s long winded so jump into Free Play is you have already cleaned the Van in Career, choose Vehicles then Van and work through using only the Red Nozzle. Once the job is complete you will then unlock Powerful Pressure Purist.

Powerwash Simulator First Steps trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

First Steps
In the Back Garden, complete all 12 stepping stones first

The Back Garden is the 2nd job you can access in Career and it can also be found in Free Play by going: Free Play> Locations> Clean the Back Garden so get in the level either way then go to the path leading to the gate and spray down all 12 stones before cleaning anything else which then unlocks First Steps.

Powerwash Simulator StegoScore trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

StegoScore
In the Playground, roll the football up the stegoslide

The Playground is the 5th project you need to clean in Career and it can also be found under the locations tab in Free Play so load it up then go to the top area behind the StegoSlide and move the ball to the front of the slide. Now this thing is very awkward as the slightest of touches can send it off in a random direction as it’s a pain to get back in position. With the ball lined up directly in front of the StegoSlide, crouch down as low as you can then equip the Red Nozzle and shoot the base of the ball as you move towards it which will give it enough momentum to get on to the the slide. You then need to shoot and push the ball up and over the slide so it rolls down the stairs which then unlock StegoScore.

Powerwash Simulator Gutted trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

30 G

Gutted
Complete the Bungalow gutters last

The Bungalow should be the 4th Career mission (assuming you did the Dirt Bike 3rd) and the gutters consist of the 4 main gutters around the Bungalow as well as the downpipes coming off the base of the gutters. Ensure you clean the gutters last to finish the job and that you don’t completely clean any element of the gutters before hand which is tricky. Ensure you angle the Spray away from the gutters by using either horizontal or vertical spray depending on whether you are trying to get behind a downpipe or going along the fascia adjacent to the gutters. Once you have completed the entire Bungalow job which can be accessed in Free Play under the Locations tab by leaving the gutters until last you will then unlock Gutted.

Powerwash Simulator Pave the Way trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

Pave the Way
In the Detached House, complete the Pathway, Driveway and Driveway edges first

During the Clean the Detached House job you will need to the clean the Pathway then the Driveway and finally the Driveway Edges in that order which is fairly simple whilst avoiding the garage door and brickwork at the end of the driveway to unlock Pave the Way.

Powerwash Simulator Sole Task trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

30 G

Sole Task
Complete the sole of the Shoe House last

During the Clean the Shoe House job which you can find in either Career Mode or Free Play under the locations tab you need to clean the entire house without touching the Sole which is the strip of stone around the base of the house. Use the Red Nozzle when close to the base to avoid touching the Sole then complete the rest of the job. Once you only have the Sole left to clean finish it off to complete the job which then unlocks Sole Task.

Powerwash Simulator Tall Order trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

50 G

Tall Order
Completely clean the Fire Station job without standing on the scaffolding

During the Clean the Fire Station job which you can find in either Career Mode or Free Play under the locations tab and it is a pain to do as you need to complete the entire job without touching or interacting with the scaffolding. The larger builder is fine as you can use your ladder to get up to the roof but the tower can’t have a ladder placed against it so you will need to use Long Attachments to reach up as well as jumping to be able to reach the upper sections. Use the Red Nozzle which fires further than the others then keep jumping around and cleaning the upper sections then work down before going inside. You can then finish the rest of the job using the ladder / step. Once you have completed the entire Fire Station job without touching the scaffolding will unlock Tall Order.

Powerwash Simulator Watermelon Shot trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

Watermelon Shot
In the Skatepark, push the ball out of the bowl

During the Clean the Skatepark job which you can find in Career Mode or in Free Play under the locations tab you will need to force the football out of the bowl which is fairly easy to do. If you’re struggling, use the Red Nozzle then shoot the ball againt the edge of the ball then allow it to fall back down which will create some momentum. Fire at the ball again and move forward which should then push it up and over the edge of the bowl which then unlocks Watermelon Shot.

Powerwash Simulator I Can See Clearly Now trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

I Can See Clearly Now
Complete the Fire Truck windows, windscreen and wing mirrors first

During the Clean the Fire Truck job which can be found either in Career Mode or in Free Playunder the Vehicles tab use the Red Nozzle and clean the 3 Windows on each side of the Fire Truck carefully so as to avoid cleaning any other item or object. You then need to clean the Windshield which will be easier using a step so yo don’t get the frame then go round to each side and fully clean the wing mirrors before cleaning any other part of the Fire Truck which will then unlock I Can See Clearly Now.

Powerwash Simulator Impeccable Balance trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

Impeccable Balance

During the Clean the Penny Farthing job which you can find in either Career Mode or in Free Play under the Vehicles tab you will need to stand on the Penny Farthing for 10 seconds which is simple enough. With you being on the Penny Farthing for 10 seconds you will unlock Impeccable Balance.

Powerwash Simulator Lantern Hunter trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

Lantern Hunter
In the Treehouse, complete all of the lanterns first

During the Clean the Tree House job which you can find in either Career Mode or in Free Play under the locations tab you will need to clean the 12 Lanterns before cleaning anything else so I recommend using the Red Nozzle so you have better precision. The lanterns are small lamps which you need to clean all 4 sides of as well as the top for them to be considered clean and it can be very easy for some over spray to clean any nearby item so aim carefully and take your time.

Ensure you clean the 2 Lanterns at the base of the stairs where you start the mission then go right and clean the next lantern on the base of the spiral stairs. From here, go up to the tree house and clean the other 9 lanterns which are hanging from the building. Finally, there will be 1 lantern attached to a tree off the side of the balcony where the seating are is. With all 12 Lanterns cleaned before anything else in the job you will then unlock Lantern Hunter.

Powerwash Simulator Merrily Go Round trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

50 G

Merrily Go Round
Completely clean the Carousel without turning it off

During the Clean the Carousel job which you can find in either Career Mode or in Free Play under the loations tab you will need to clean the entire Carousel without turning it off which you would do by pressing the red button on the control panel so don’t touch it. I would recommend using the spinning momentum of the carousel to make the clean a lot easier rather than trying to chase the dirt, stand on a solid, non spinning section then aim at the floor, ceiling or horses and clean them as they pass you. Whatever way you choose to do this as long as you complete the job without turning the power off you will then unlock Merrily Go Round.

Powerwash Simulator Gnome Sweet Gnome trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

30 G

Gnome Sweet Gnome
In the Temple, ensure the gnome is on the tower roof once the job is complete

During the Clean the Temple job which you can find in either Career Mode or in Free Play under the locations tab and the Gnome will be on the top of the Tower at the start of the mission. The problem is if you touch or shoot the Gnome it will fall down and you can’t climb a ladder with the Gnome so you will need to use the White Nozzle along with Cleaning Liquids for wood to clean the top of the tower. Then, ensure you very carefully clean each side of the sloping roof with the Red Nozzle for better precision then for the rest of the job keep in mind the Gnome is there so you don’t accidentally knock it off when cleaning a lower section. With the Gnome still in the same place when the job completes you will then unlock Gnome Sweet Gnome.

Powerwash Simulator Delaying the Inevitable trophy

During the Delaying the Inevitable job which can be found either in Career Mode or in Free Play under the locations tab you will need to clean the entire job including the toilet stalls but ensure you leave the toilets, toilet seats and toilet lids until last so when you get close to the toilets, use the Red Nozzle for better precision. There are 4 toilets on the left side of the job so ensure you leave them until last, have a look at the check list if you need to to ensure there’s nothing left then with the toilets cleaned to finish the job you will then unlock Delaying the Inevitable.

PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

Shine Bright
On the Helter Skelter, complete the objects that have lightbulbs before anything else

During the Clean the Helter Skelter job which you can find in either Career Mode or Free Play under the Locations tab you will need to clean every object with a light bulb before cleaning anything else.and there are 18 parts in total which are:

  • The Sign in front of the Helter Skelter, clean the front and back section ensuring you don’t also clean the pipes holding the Sign up.
  • All 16 Channel Lights which are a pain to clean made easier with the Resd Nozzle and a Long Arm attachment. You will need to angle around to get the dirt cleaned off just ensure you don’t accidentally clean any other part of the Helter Skelter in the process.
  • Finally you need to clean the Top Ring Frame which can be challenging as if you clean one of the struts holding the Frame up it will negate this trophy so aim carefully and take your time.

With all 18 parts of the Helter Skelter job which have lightbulbs attached to the cleaned before anything else you will then unlock Shine Bright.

During the Clean the Private Jet job which you can find either in Career Mode or in Free Play under the Vehicles tab you need to clean the Jet Laser on the underside of the plane first which will be the pipe right down to the tip. Use the Red Nozzle for better precision when you are close the plane and focus on only cleaning the pipe avoiding the main fuselage. Once the laser has been completely cleaned and ticked off you then need to focus on the Anti-Gravity Boosters one of which will be on the under side of each wing, they are cicular with 3 pink lights attached to them. Finally you need to get on top of each wing and clean the metal discs on there again with there being one of each. With the laser, anti-gravity boosters and anti-gravity panels all cleaned befor anything else, you will then unlock Suspicious Modifications.

During the Clean the Monster Truck job which you can find either in Career Mode or in Free Play under the Vehicles tab you will need to completely clean all 4 tyres without cleaning any other component which includes the centre alloy so use the Red Nozzle and be careful to not touch the bodywork of the Truck as some components will clean very quickly failing the requirements. Once you have got all 4 tyres completely clean and ticked off without having cleaned any other part of the Truck you will then unlock Tyresome.

During the Clean the Subway Platform job which you can find either in Career Mode or in Free Play under the locations tab you will need to clean the 8 advertising boards before cleaning any other object or item in the mission. The advertising boards can be found along the edges of the job and I recommend cleaning them with the Yellow Nozzle then the Red to take care of any stubborn dirt. Avoid the lights either side of the boards and of course don’t clean anything else until all 8 advertising boards are clean. With that done you will unlock Blast from the Past.

During the Clean the Ancient Statue job which you can access in Career Mode or Free Play under the Locations tab you need to find and knock down all 4 blue buckets in the clean. It won’t matter which Power Washer or Nozzle you use but some force is needed so go for the Red Nozzle then find and knock dow the following 4 buckets:

  • Bucket 1:
To the left of the start of the job, go behind the crate then shoot the bucket through the gap over the gas bottle.

Powerwash Simulator Good Dings to Come trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

100 G

Good Dings to Come
Clean 95% of any job without completing any tasks

This is a very tough trophy to unlock as it’s very challenging to clean up to 95% of a job without completing any tasks which means you can’t make any section flash blue. One of the easier cleans to do this will be the Clean the Golf Cart job, I recommend sticking with the Red Nozzle so you can control the flow better and stay away from the back of the cart as there are a few very quick to finish components. Work on the Windshield, the Roof and the Bumper firing in short bursts and slowly creeping the total percentage up then as long as you don’t complete any section of the Golf Cart before getting to 95% you will then unlock Good Dings to Come.

Some advice to help would be:

  • Change up the nozzles regularly.
  • Use the dirt checker to identify ingrained dirt (press Right).
  • Use the different height stances so standing, crouched and prone to get in between hard to reach areas.
  • Stand on the objects.
  • Be very frugal with your pressure washing, you will use less water with the green nozzle compared to the white one for example. The red nozzle is one of the least efficient as so much water is used to blast only use it on very hard to clean areas.
  • Take your time to learn the jobs going through them several times if needs be whilst working towards improving your overall score.
  • Don’t waste any resources.
  • Use cleaning fluids where available to eat through specific dirt types.
  • Have fun with it, it’s supposed to be challenging, that’s why they called it challenge mode.

Choose small jobs then work through quickly, efficiently and not making many mistakes as the requirements for Gold Medals can be strict. Once you have earnt 5 Gold Medals, you will then unlock Gold Standard.
