Fully Upgrade a Weapon

Upgrading weapons costs Raritanium which can be found throughout the different Worlds in a container that has blue-white crystals sticking out the top of it.

You will easily have Raritanium to upgrade a weapon as you progress through the game. I recommend upgrading the Blast Pistol as it’s a good weapon with tonnes of ammunition.

To upgrade, go to a Mrs Zurkon and select Upgrades then spend your Raritanium on any node you haven’t yet upgraded.

Complete the weapon’s upgrade tree to unlock your Trophy.

Hit Every Blizon Crystal on Blizar and Cordelion

Blizon Crystals are the crystals you hit to shift the dimension on both Blizar prime and Cordelion, most of these are found throughout the story, however, there’s several that are off the beaten track.

Keep your eyes peeled and you’ll find them easily enough. 23 Blizon Crystals are found on Blizar Prime with the remaining 7 Blizon Crystals being found on Cordelion.

Get close to any of the crystals where they will appear on your map then simply make your way over to them and hit them to shift dimension, there’s a few times where you’ll shift dimensions and then be trapped in a room, hit the crystal again to be able to leave the way you came in.

Once you’ve hit all 30 Blizon Crystals, your Trophy will unlock.

Ratchet And Clank Rift Apart BOING! trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

BOING!
Bounce on Big Al, Clank, and Qwark’s Parade Balloons

This is a split trophy as you need to bounce on 3 balloons in 2 different locations. The first balloon, Big Al will automatically be jumped on in the during the celebrations in the Prologue.

From here, play through the game until your objective is to find Club Nefarious after being separated from Clank for the first time.

Perform Five Trick Jumps on a Grind Rail

There are plenty of grind rails throughout Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart and to perform a trick on one you need to press Cross twice where you will jump then spin.

Do this 5 times on any number of grind rails (you don’t need to perform 5 tricks on 1 rail) to unlock your Trophy.

Once in the round, fire a Ricochet at the enemies then mash R2 to bounce the Ricochet off of the enemies.

As long as you kill 2 or more enemies with one use of the Ricochet, your Trophy will unlock.

Ratchet And Clank Rift Apart Return Policy trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Return Policy
Kill 10 Enemies by Returning Shots with the Void Reactor

First you need to purchase the Void Repulsor for 17,500 bolts and level it up to level 5 where it will then become the Void Reactor.

Once done, you need to hold L2 to bring up your shield where you will be able to “catch” projectiles from enemies which you will see on the right side of the shield as pink dots.

Be cautious though as every shot collected takes charge out of the weapon which even when fully upgraded doesn’t hold a lot of ammo.

Once you have collected a few shots, press R2 to fire the shots in a straight line, hopefully taking out some enemies on the way.

I personally found this easiest at the Battleplex on Scarstu Debris Field by saving shots from the Pirate’s then firing them back from the other side of the arena.

The shots that are required to defeat the enemies need to come from the retuned shots rather than the usual weapons’ blast attack so make sure you’ve got some distance between yourself and the enemies.

Once you have killed 10 enemies by returning shots, your Trophy will unlock.

Ratchet And Clank Rift Apart Hole Puncher trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Hole Puncher
Get 20 Headshots with the Headhunter

The Headhunter is one of the last weapons to unlock in the game and is an incredibly powerful Sniper Rifle which has the ability when you hold down GGGULTRAL2 to slow time allowing you to line up a headshot and will cost you 40,000 bolts.

Headshots are easily performed on Pirate’s either in the Arena on Scarstu Debris Field or on the planet Ardolis As they have decent sized heads which are easily aimed at.

Once you have performed 20 headshots with the Headhunter, your Trophy will unlock.

There are another 2 that spawn as you’re going through the Help Trudi side quest which becomes available after completing the story on both Sargasso and the Scarstu Debris Field planets which sees you collect 60 Zursptones to acquire a RYNO SpyBot (See Aim to Misbehave for more information on this).

The final Grunthor will spawn as you’re fighting Nefarious after fixing the Rubion Forge on Cordelion, during the fight Nefarious will send you through a dimensional portal to Sargasso where a Grunthor will spawn.

Take down all 5 Grunthors to unlock your Trophy.

Ratchet And Clank Rift Apart Just Stay Down trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Just Stay Down
Defeat 30 Ejected Nefarious Trooper Heads

The larger robots that appear throughout the game, when defeated have a high chance of their head pods surviving to come and attack you.

You will easily defeat more than 30 of these head pods as you proceed through the story on any difficulty so I wouldn’t worry about this one. It will unlock soon enough.

Ratchet And Clank Rift Apart Must Go Faster trophy

Collect 3 Lorbs to unlock your Trophy.
