Remnant 2 Corruptor Boss Guide

Here is the Remnant 2 Corruptor boss guide which will help you track down and take out this multi layered boss who has a very powerful guardian protecting it who is the main threat of the fight. The Corruptor can be found at the very end of Yaesha at The Great Bole which can be accessed from the, The Red Throne starting point and will see you progress through some tough areas along the way.

Location: Yaesha, The Great Bole.
Rewards: Twisted Lazurite x1, Lumenite Crystal x5, Scrap x750, Tome of Knowledge x1.
Taking down the Corruptor will unlock The God Gambit for defeating Many Faces and is at the end of the questline the Empress will give you in The Red Throne which you won’t need to start, taking down the Corruptor will be enough to fulfil the requirements. Either way, head through to The Great Bole and get ready for a tough, complicated, fight which encapsulates everything great about Remnant 2, managing mobs, platforming, spacial awareness, enemy management and strategy.

During the fight, your main target, the Corruptor is floating at the end of the central pathway and has 1 attack. A laser beam that will leave you very close to death if you get caught in its blast and should be left alone throughout the fight (I’ll explain why shortly). You can negate the laser by jumping to one of the platforms either side of the central one using the steps on the platforms which are found at the end of the end of a given platform. Don’t try and tank the laser, it won’t go well.

The main enemy and threat in the fight is the Corruptor’s guardian, a multi armed stone Golem who can detach its arms and send them to attack you, spin around dealing heavy damage if you get caught in its combo, jump to anywhere in the arena and is generally a bad time of things here. Focus fire on the Golems head and take out the arms when they detach. If you are a Summoner or have a group of other players, they can take some of the aggro away from you hopefully so make good use of the time to heal, otherwise focus fire and manage the arms as efficiently as you can.

After dealing enough damage the Golem will be disabled for a time allowing you to then turn your attention to the Corruptor itself which will be a lot easier when it raises itself up to repair the Golem revealing a giant weak spot underneath it you can unload in to with your best gear / mods to deal some incredibly high damage. Especially if you have a fire based weapon. There are 2 possible rewards for this fight with us focusing on the easier of the 2. If you can take the Corruptor without felling the Golem you will be able to craft the Stonebreaker melee weapon and is the tougher of the 2 rewards to obtain as you will always have the Golem coming for you with no respite.

The main reward is the Twisted Lazurite which will allow you to craft the powerful Twisted Arbalest long gun which you will obtain if you disable the Golem at least once during the fight. Whichever path you take, I highly recommend the latter until you have some much more powerful gear when you can then re roll adventure mode, come back and have a much easier time avoiding the Golem.

Either way, take the Corruptor down where you can then return to The Red Throne, speak with the Empress’ assistant and collect the Zohee’s Ring as an additional reward.
