Here is the Remnant 2 Faelin Boss Guide which will help you go through Losomn starting off at the Beatific Palace and take down the World Boss, Faelin who can be found in the starting area after you have found both face pieces.
Location: Losomn, Beatific Gallery.
Rewards: Imposter’s Heart x1, Lumenite Crystal x5, Tome of Knowledge x1, Scrap x750.
Faelin is a World Boss of Losomn and is one the potential World Bosses you can face in Losomn in order to progress the main story so you will need to ensure you have the Beatific Palace as your starting point when you roll Losomn (if you get Morrow Parish, your World Boss will be Nightweaver so re roll in Adventure mode). You will need to acquire the Faelin Mural Piece which is located on the ground floor of the Beatific Palace as well as the Faerin Mural Piece found in Malefic Palace by going through the door with the 2 Kings’ faces on the card the Jester plays with for you.
With both Mural pieces acquired go back to the Beatific Palace checkpoint, ascend the stairs and place the Mural pieces on the floor in front of the large door. Faerin goes in the dark section, Faelin goes in the golden section for your reference.
From here, go through, use the checkpoint if you choose to then go through the dialogue with Faelin who claims to be the One True King, however, he isn’t, he tasks you with finding and defeating Faerin, if you choose to take on Faerin then that’s a different guide. As you’re here for Faelin, you will need to select the “Actually, I think I will challenge you” dialogue option where Faelin will then initiate the boss fight and it’s not the easiest in the game so ensure you’re prepared for what awaits.
Faelin himself is fairly easy and if it was a one on one he’d go down very quickly, however, he has a lot of help in this fight and all from objects and magic which can’t be attacked so therefore can’t be defeated meaning you need to be able to dodge so if you have Armor in the red, equip something lighter as you won’t be able to tank everything he hits you with whilst still having time to heal regardless of how powerful you are.
You will be attacked with all manner of energy blasts including sword waves, a nasty attack from from the energy balls he spawns around the arena that thankfully glow yellow just before they send a blast your way but take care as the timing on the roll is tight to avoid damage and one of his nastier attacks is where he activates the giant swords along the sides of the arena to raise up and slam down on to you dealing heavy damage, these attacks will show an aura on the floor as to where they land so ensure you’re out of the blast radius.
Aim for the head for the most part as best as you can, he is a tricky fight as he will consistently disappear so save your mod abilities until he reappears then unload your powerful attacks in to him and run to the other end of the arena to heal as you need to, having the Handler or Summoner classes will be a big help here as well as it will give him something else to aim for other than you for a few seconds.
Keep the pressure on Faelin until you bring him down removing the imposter from the World of Losmon.
