Here is the Remnant 2 Mother Mind boss guide which will help you find and take down this mountain shattering boss who is in Yaesha in The Nameless Nest are which I could only access during Adventure Mode. The Mother Mind fight is a fight you need to tackle in a specific way and if you go off the plan you will fall to your death or be carved up by unavoidable attacks.
Location: Yaesha, The Nameless Nest.
Rewards: Lumenite Crystals x3, Tome of Knowledge x1, Scrap x500, Cordyceps Gland x1.
Remnant 2 is procedurally generated so its random as to which areas will show up on a particular roll of the World and for me, the Nameless Nest wasn’t accessible until I went through The Twisted Chantry by having the, The Red Throne as my starting area meaning you will need to take down the tough Legion boss before you can get to The Nameless Nest. Once there, head through to the boss fog gate ensuring you rest at the checkpoint before going through as a simple mistake can see you plummeting in to the Abyss.
Mother Mind, will after every 25% of damage taken, become invulnerable, raise itself up to the top of the arena and slam down twice in to the platform you are standing on. The only way around this and something to be careful is you need to move to the next platform going anti clockwise before the second strike hits. When the second strike does land, the platform will be smashed away reducing the size of the arena you can fight in. Mother Mind will remove 3 platforms as part of the fight and you need to finish it off on the fourth.
There will also be several enemies spawning in so despatch them quickly to avoid taking additional damage then refocus your attention on Mother Mind aiming for the large opening on the front of its face or either of the 2 glowing spots on the top of its head area as anywhere else will do minimal damage.
Attack wise, Mother Mind will claw at you, spin around which is an instant death if you get caught and is negated by keeping your back against the wall, shoot missiles at you which linger on the floor in a puddle of electrified gloop and of course, the slam attack which can easily one hit kill you if you don’t run away in time.
Dealing with the mob is important here as you will be taking enough damage from the gloop and the swipes without having anything else to deal with. Mother Mind is fairly weak to fire so use it if you’ve got it and keep pumping away collecting the ammo that drops as you need it until Mother Mind falls.
