Here is the Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom DLC Cinderclad Monolith Boss which will more than likely be one of the first bosses you face off against in the 2nd DLC offering for Remnant 2.

Location: The Forgotten Kingdom DLC, Deserted Atelier.
Rewards: Forge Ember, Scrap x1,000, Lumenite Crystals x3, Tome of Knowledge x1.
Proceed through the Deserted Atelier biome which can be found in the Forgotten Kingdom DLC and on subsequent runs through Yaesha either in Campaign on a re-roll or Adventure mode, rest at the mini checkpoint then go through the fog gate where the Cinderclad Monolith will be in your way. The Monolith looks like it will only have a few places where your hits will register, however, you can inflict damage all over the thing. You can score critical hits if you focus fire on the blue gems then, later on in the fight the Monolith opens up revealing a huge weakpoint you can unload into blindfolded and you will still manage to deal heavy damage.

During the fight you will be peppered with a heavy amount of attacks which include sandballs, a sand style laser that comes around as the Monolith spins, a plasma attack that goes out in a quadrilateral phase that can hit multiple times and should be avoided.

Halfway through the fight the Cinderclad will reveal it’s namesake, raising up and throwing Fireballs down on to you and the arena which can leave fire across the floor in waves as well as having a tendril try and slam down on you which you could do without taking a hit from.

The fight itself isn’t overly challenging as long as you don’t become overwhelmed with the high level of attacks which come at you. Roll through the sand lasers then focus on returning fire at the blue gems as best as you can or shooting through the diamond shaped holes to deal increased damage or just fire at the outer casing of the Monolith with any type of weapon until you bring the Monolith down.
