Missions aren’t much different than challenges, they will mostly just direct you where to go and to do specific tricks. Later missions require that you complete a certain amount of Challenge Goals to unlock them, these require you to complete goals from the Daily Challenges. To complete all missions you will need to complete 250 Challenge Goals. Fully Localized
Reached 11000 total Rip score.

Rip Score is a counter that goes up every time you unlock an item. This trophy is by far the longest grind of the game, making up for the bulk of the hours. You can unlock items by completing story missions, levelling up neighbourhoods, and opening boxes in the store using earned credits. Opening Product Boxes in the shop (pictured below) will be your gateway to earning this trophy, since after completing all story missions you may be sitting around 2000 Rip Score. You can open these Product Boxes using credits, which are earned from completing Daily Challenges.

Skate. Fully Localized Image

Every 24 hours, a set of 30 Daily Challenges spawn (marked with a clock icon). These challenges will give you a total of around 2400 credits if you complete them solo, and 2700 credits of you complete them co-op with another player. Once you take these credits to the shop to open Product Boxes, you will be given random items that on average total to 300 Rip Score.

Please Note: In the October 7 update, Daily Challenges have been changed quite a bit. Completing one objective will unlock you 20 credits instead of the original 5. Doing the co-op objective will now only unlock 10 chips instead of the original 20. This means you will now unlock 2400 credits from doing all the Daily Challenges solo, and 2700 from doing them co-op. All numbers in this guide have been adjusted accordingly. It is much more viable to do the entire grind solo now.

The best thing you can do is to get into a routine of completing the Daily Challenges and Daily tasks (read the first bullet-point to learn more) every day. This grind will likely take around 20 days of logging in to do the challenges. Check out the tips below for more time-saving information.

  • Do the Daily and Weekly tasks: Every day,  you are assigned a few tasks that you can view on the pause menu. Completing a daily task will give you between 150 – 200 credits, and if you complete all of them you will earn an additional 250 credits. Completing a weekly task will earn you 450 credits, with 1000 additional credits if you complete all of them. If you do all your tasks you can earn about 9000 credits every week. These tasks are usually pretty easy, if you are having trouble with specific tricks you can view the Skatepedia by holding Down.
  • Skate Pass and Tix: In a recent update, there is a new “skate.Pass” added, where you can complete seasonal challenges and unlock items within the Skate Pass. There is a free version and a paid version, the paid version allows you to unlock much more rewards. It is your choice if you wish to purchase the paid version, it will cost $10. You may as well unlock the free items if you unlock the Tix.
    • You can buy Tix and buy your way towards this trophy: If you wish, you can purchase Tix through the store. To buy everything in the store, you need 29,170 Tix. That will cost $95 worth of paid credits (plus $10 for the pass), which you can convert to those Tix. Unlocking everything in the store (excluding the pink credits which give you no Rip Score) will give you a total of 2520 Rip Score.
  • Neighbourhood Level-ups: Every time you level up a neighborhood, you are given a few bonus challenges that will give you 10x rewards (50 credits per objective). Every time you level up a neighborhood, go to the store and redeem these challenges. They will not despawn.
  • Start with the cheapest Product Boxes: You will eventually open the majority of all the boxes, but the ones that cost under 200 are slightly better with the Cost-Reward ratio. It also doesn’t matter which cities you buy them in, just try to grab the cheapest.
  • Open the huge “DIY/Builder” boxes last: These specific boxes at the bottom of the list will give you a ton of Titles that give you no Rip Score. Eventually you will start to unlock actual items from them but leave them for last.

Skate. On A Heater trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

90 G

On A Heater
Kept a 4x multiplier going for a combined total of 1 hour.

When you do a trick, you will see a multiplier on the bottom-left of the screen based on how many points you earned from the previous sequence. The more points you earned, the higher the multiplier will go, and it maxes out at 4x. Note that this has nothing to do with the line score, and is only based off the last trick/sequence. This trophy is earned for keeping the 4x multiplier for an hour total, not an hour straight.

Skate. On A Heater Image 1

The easiest way to quickly attain a 4x multiplier is to find a large grind and score 1600 points in one sequence. You can pretty easily use a curb as a grind spot, there is a long curb in the location shown below. After you have 4x, keep the multiplier active by completing a variety of tricks (unique tricks will score better than doing the same few tricks over and over). This trophy can be completed with about 1.5 hours of grinding. Note that a slam that gives you a 4x multiplier will NOT count towards On A Heater, it has to stem from doing tricks.

Skate. Spot Hunter trophy

Spot Hunter
Discovered 15 unique blocks in Downtown San Van.

You will more than likely earn Spot Hunter very quickly at the start of the game, since you skate across many blocks getting from mission to mission. All you need to do is enter the location of different streets across the map. Don’t worry about focusing on this one.

Skate. Simply the Best trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

90 G

Simply the Best
Triumphed over other players to win 4 Throwdowns.

A Throwdown is a multiplayer challenge where whoever scores the most points from doing tricks wins. You can start a challenge at any time by holding Down, and selecting the top-right option (pictured below). This will allow you to create an invitation to a Throwdown.

You need to have at least one other player participating to start. This player can be your friend or a random player in the lobby who joins. If you have a boosting partner for Fully Localized, you can quickly complete four Throwdowns with them and earn Simply the Best very quickly. The options for the quickest session are 2 Players and 1 Minute.

Skate. You're Changing Their Hearts trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

You’ll Make It, We Swear
Completed every Goal in 20 Semi-Pro Challenges.

Semi-Pro Challenges are more tricky challenges that require more technical tricks, sometimes requiring you to complete them all in one attempt. Refer to These Skills Paid The Bills to learn the differences of every challenge type.

Skate. These Skills Paid The Bills trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

90 G

These Skills Paid The Bills
Completed every Goal in 30 Pro challenges.

Pro Challenges are harder challenges that require pretty difficult tricks, almost always requiring you to complete them all within the same attempt. You may struggle with these challenges if you are new or inexperienced with the mechanics of this game. All challenge difficulties appear often in Daily Challenges, and you will earn all three trophies pretty quickly while grinding those. Doing challenges in co-op is always easier since you can work on objectives as a team. Check below for every challenge type.

An Own The Spot challenge requires you to land tricks inside a single highlighted area, usually all in one sequence. If it requires a certain trick, the game will display the button combination on the left side.

A Line challenge requires you to collect bearing collectables while completing different goals. After you collect the first bearing, you can take all the time you need to complete the line, so you can find a perfect spot anywhere to complete the other goals.

A Stunt challenge usually involves bailing off your board and slamming into different objects. You will want to use Spread Eagle for all of these, hold R1 + Cross in the air to control your movement. The Stunt challenges are the rarest of them all.

A Session challenge gives you a highlighted area where you need to complete a certain amount of goals in a given time. The time given is usually more than enough needed, and any required tricks will be given to you on the left of the screen.

Skate. Making the Dream Work trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

40 G

Making the Dream Work
Completed every Goal in 10 Co-op challenges.

You can complete every challenge in co-op if you are in a party with another player. When starting a challenge, you have the option to start it as co-op. For this trophy you alone don’t need to complete every objective yourself, but as a collective team you need to. You can complete the easiest challenge ten times over to unlock Making the Dream Work if you wish.

That’s the Skate. trophy guide complete, I hope it helped you through the game.
