Guide to the Platinum:
WWE 2K22 has arrived after the series took a one year absence so it’s time to throw WWE2K20 in the bin and use this guide as you aim to unlock your latest WWE platinum trophy. WWE 2K22 trophies are split evenly between all the available game modes and you have complete freedom to play the available modes in any order you see fit. In MyRISE mode you create a superstar and start your journey in the performance centre with the aim of making the flagship WWE brands of NXT, RAW or Smackdown before climbing the to the top of the ladder and winning the most prestigious titles available to any superstar.
In showcase mode you take part in 12 career defining matches that relive the most memorable moments of WWE icon-elect Rey Mysterio. In MyGM mode you take the reigns of one of the WWE’s top brands as you battle to put on the best shows for the fans and win top ratings in a rivalry with the other brands. In universe mode your essentially given a blank slate and are in complete charge of any and all actions in the WWE universe. In MyFaction mode you build up a faction of superstars and compete in several different game modes all trying to prove your faction is the best. Finally play mode will finish your journey to the platinum off as you mop up any remaining trophies that are left.

This is the 12th and final match in Showcase mode and in order to unlock it you must complete every objective in the first 11 matches, with that done this match will then become available to play.

Clear All Matches in Showcase Mode.
This unlocks once you have competed all 12 matches in Showcase mode.
BOOYAKA BOOYAKA
Complete All Objectives in All Matches in Showcase Mode.
All showcase matches have objectives you need to complete during the course of the match. Each match has between 10-15 objectives to complete and these objectives appear in the top left corner of the screen and if needed you can pause the game to access more information on how to perform an objective. With every objective complete in all 12 matches of Showcase mode you will then earn you your Trophy.

PPV events happen once a month so enter and win one of these events to unlock your Trophy.
Superstar Advancement
Win 5 matches in Universe – Superstar Mode.
Choose to play as one of the main Superstars in the game like a champion then when you select who you wish to play as which will then ensure you get a match each and every week. Set the difficulty to easy and then win 5 matches to earn your Trophy.
I’m Declaring the Royal Rumble!
Choose a path from the Curation Menu for the first time in the Universe – Superstar Mode.

Forging My Own Path
Choose a path from the Curation Menu 5 times in Universe – Superstar Mode.
Once you have chosen which Superstar you wish to play as choose the options from the Universe mode menu. Then alter the curation menu appearance from 4 weeks down to every week. At the completion of every weeks show the curation menu will appear asking for your selection so make a selection and move onto the next week. This should unlock after choosing a match 5 times, however, please note: this is slightly glitched so may take a little longer than this but once you have performed enough selections your Trophy will eventually unlock.
Good Ratings
Complete a Month of Shows in Universe – Classic Mode.
Choose Universe mode> New> Classic mode. Now choose tonight’s show and the option to simulate all matches, now exit the show and repeat these steps until the trophy unlocks after completing 4 weeks worth of shows.
Outta Nowhere
Perform a Catching Finisher (Play Mode vs AI).
Choose the Creations tab from the main menu and make a custom match starting it with one finisher, return back to the main menu and then start a one on one match and select up load your custom match. Choose to play as Randy Orton and any opponent you wish then once the match has started you need to get the AI to climb the top rope and then jump at you, the instant they jump you will need to press R2+Cross to perform the catching finisher.

Fight Forever
Kick Out of a Pin After Being Hit With a Finisher (Play Mode vs AI).
Choose the Creations tab from the main menu and make a custom match starting it with one finisher, return back to the main menu and then start a one on one match and select up load your custom match. Fight as any Superstar you wish and against any Superstar, at the match start walk towards the AI and hopefully they will perform a finisher on you and go for the pin, if they don’t go for the pin simply restart the match. With the pin attempt made mash Cross to kick out unlocking your Trophy in the process.
Fit for a Prince
Finish a Match With a 5 Star Rating (Play Mode vs AI).
This is best done in a match with less strict rules like falls count anywhere or extreme rules. In the top left corner of the screen is the ratings bar, this bar will increase as you progress through the match but will slow down if you stick to just hitting the opponent. You can help the bar go up by performing actions such as:
- Light attacks.
- Heavy attacks.
- Grapples.
- Perform combo attacks.
- Top rope moves in the ring.
- Top rope moves out of the ring.
- Use of all weapons under the ring.
- Let the opponent hit you.
- Let the opponent performs combos.
- Let the opponent perform signature moves.
- Perform signature moves.
- Perform finishers.
- Taunt the crowd.
- Taunt the opponent.
Basically the more variety of moves you perform the quicker the rating bar will increase. When it reaches its maximum 5 stars the match can end and regardless of the result your Trophy will then unlock.
Master of the 619
As Rey Mysterio, Hit a 619 (Play Mode vs AI).
You have to fight as Rey Mysterio but you have complete freedom over the opponent you face. The 619 move is a signature move and not a finisher so you first need to build up your signature bar, this is the 3 blue bars directly below your vitality meter. To fill this bar it’s nothing more than performing attacks on the AI so play a match out until all 3 bars have been filled. At this point all you need to do now is have the opponent standing and facing you there press R2+Square to trigger the 619.
C-C-C-Combo Breaker
Counter an Opponent’s Combo Using Breaker (Play Mode vs AI).
Breaker is a new feature than allows you to stop an opponent during a combo attack. When the AI is doing a combo a small Cross will appear over your head, this is similar to a counter move from previous WWE titles and the activation is the same. Keep pressing Cross then when you time it correctly it will stop the combo unlocking your Trophy.
Maybe They Just Needed a SNICKERS
Win a 30-person Royal Rumble match as the first or second entrant (Play Mode vs AI).
Create a custom 30 man Royal Rumble and alter the entry interval to its maximum setting of 180. Start the match playing as Roman Reigns and beat up the opponent then with their green vitality bar gone Irish whip them towards the ropes and attack them to eliminate them. The next opponent will now enter the ring so repeat the above process, with all other 29 superstars eliminated you will win the Rumble earning your Trophy at the conclusion of the match.
Gulak Academy Graduate
Finish the Tutorial (Play Mode).
The tutorial starts your journey in WWE 2K22 so follow the on screen prompts until you have completed the tutorial.
Record Breaker
In the Royal Rumble, eliminate 14 Superstars (Play Mode vs AI).

First of Many
Win a match (Play Mode vs AI).
This will happen through natural progression.
CANNONBALL!
Perform a top rope dive as a Super Heavyweight (Play Mode vs AI).
The only super heavyweights from the starting base game are these 5 giants of the ring:
- Braun Strowman.
- Ivar.
- Keith Lee.
- Otis.
- Tucker.
So it has to be one of these but you have freedom to select your opponent. Start a match and your first target is to get the AI to the ground so they stay down for a few seconds. With that done sprint to a corner using L3 and your superstar will run and climb to turn top rope now wait for the AI to get back up and then when they are close to you press Square to perform the top rope attack.
Getting Creative
Hit your opponent with 5 different objects in one match (Play Mode vs AI).
The custom match feature can make this trophy a breeze to unlock so choose creations from the main menu followed by custom matches. Choose to create a new custom match and select a one on one match followed by extreme rules. Now work your way to the wheel wheel tab and select 6 different weapons for the 6 slots of the wheel.
With that custom match setting done give your custom match a name then save and exit this menu. Now choose the play mode option and select a one on one match followed by custom matches and load up your getting creative custom match. Pick any superstar you wish to fight as and against and let the match load up. From the start of the match make your way outside the ring and face the left or right side ring apron and press L1. Select any of the 6 weapons on the weapon wheel using the left stick and press Cross to retrieve this weapon from under the ring and use this to hit your opponent. Now repeat these steps until you have made a successful hit with 5 different weapons to unlock your trophy.
Acknowledge Me!
Win a 1v1 match against Roman Reigns on Legend difficulty (Play Mode VS. AI).
Thanks to a custom match you can make this a nice simple trophy to unlock so choose creations from the main menu followed by custom matches. Choose to create a new custom match and select a one on one match followed by normal. Now set the following conditions:
- Pin or submission to OFF.
- Finisher match to ON.
- Finishers (match start) to 1.
With all those custom match settings done give your custom match a name then save and exit this menu. Now choose the options tab and select gameplay and alter the game difficulty to legend. Now start a play mode match and choose one on one followed by choosing custom match and load up your acknowledge me custom match. Choose to play as Randy Orton but you can choose any superstar who has a standing finisher and set the opponent as Roman Reigns.
Let the match load up and then let Roman Reigns move towards you at the start of the match and when in close proximity press R2+Cross to activate your finisher and if done correctly you will perform the finisher and win this match in seconds. If Roman blocks your finisher or hits his first simply restart the match until you’re successful in hitting that finisher first.
Journey Of A Lifetime
Complete all Lifetime Challenges in MyFACTION.

Faction Wars Champion
Win 100 Faction Wars Matches in MyFACTION.
Faction wars are 4vs4 matches so win 100 total and this contributes towards a lifetime challenge so you will get this trophy whilst working towards Journey Of A Lifetime.
Briefcase Winner
Win a Limited Time Briefcase in MyFACTION.
Briefcases are occasionally offered as rewards for winning faction wars matches so keep winning until one appears as a reward, this contributes towards a lifetime challenge so you will get this trophy whilst progressing towards Journey Of A Lifetime.
Loyalty Confirmed
Earn a Loyalty Reward in MyFACTION.
MyFaction will award you with a daily login bonus every day. A week runs from Monday-Sunday and if you log in 5 times over the course of that 7 day period, you will earn the loyalty reward, this contributes towards a lifetime challenge so you will unlock this trophy whilst working towards Journey Of A Lifetime.

The first Proving Grounds chapter is called Rise Up and features 6 towers totalling 42 matches, simply complete all 42 matches to earn your Trophy.
Champion For A Day
Complete all 3 of a day’s Daily Challenges in MyFACTION.
From the MyFaction menu you can press Triangle to access your daily challenges, each day you will have 3 new challenges, to get this trophy you have to complete all 3 challenges within the daily 24 hours before the challenges reset.
Time to TakeOver
Have a match on NXT in either Male or Female MyRISE.
You can join the NXT brand in several different ways, your first opportunity is the PC showcase storyline which sees the general managers of NXT, Raw and Smackdown appear in the performance centre with a superstar from their brand who you must face and defeat to get a contract. As a male chose to fight Oney Lorcan or as a female chose to fight Shotzi, then win the match to get the contract.
A second way to join NXT is to be part of Raw or Smackdown and speak to the general manager in their office where they will inform you about a brand shakeup and you can accept the offer to switch to another brand. A third and final way of joining NXT is to check your direct messages about rumours you are wanting a trade to NXT, simply confirm the rumour as been true and the trade will then take place. No matter which route you go down once you have completed your first match on NXT your Trophy will unlock.
I’m Feeling Blue
Have a match on SmackDown in either Male or Female MyRISE.
You can join the smackdown brand in several different ways, your first opportunity is the PC showcase storyline which sees the general managers of NXT, Raw and smack down appear in the performance centre with a superstar from their brand who you must face and defeat to get a contract. As a male chose to fight Shinsuke Nakamura or as a female chose to fight Lacey Evans then win the match to get the contract. A second way to join Smackdown is to be part of Raw or NXT and speak to the general manager in their office where they will inform you about a brand shakeup and you can accept the offer to switch to another brand.
A third and final way of joining Smackdown is to check your direct messages about rumours you are wanting a trade to Smackdown, simply confirm the rumour as being true and the trade will then take place. No matter which route you go down once you have completed your first match on Smackdown you will then earn your Trophy.
Monday Night Warrior
Have a match on RAW in either Male or Female MyRISE.
You can join the Raw brand in several different ways, your first opportunity is the PC showcase storyline which sees the general managers of NXT, Raw and Smackdown appear in the performance centre with a superstar from their brand who you must face and defeat to get a contract. As a male chose to fight Drew McIntyre or as a female chose to fight Sasha Banks then win the match to get the contract.
A second way to join Raw is to be part of NXT or Smackdown and speak to the general manager in their office where they will inform you about a brand shakeup and you can accept the offer to switch to another brand. A third and final way of joining Raw is to check your direct messages about rumours you are wanting a trade to Raw, simply confirm the rumour as been true and the trade will then take place. No matter which route you go down once you have completed your first match on Raw your Trophy will unlock.
The New Revolution
Win the NXT Women’s Championship in MyRISE.
This title is assigned to Rhea Ripley and this storyline appears by speaking to William Regal in his office so progress through other storylines in the NXT brand until this one is available. The storyline is called “the road to “Rhea” and you take part in a couple of fatal four way matches to determine the number one contender for the championship match against Rhea Ripley. With the fatal four way matches done you will get side tracked by a fallout from your victory hit eventually will face Rhea at WrestleMania and with victory secure your Trophy will unlock.
Goldie is Mine!
Win the NXT Men’s Championship in MyRISE.
This title is assigned to Finn Balor and this storyline appears by speaking to William Regal in his office so progress through other storylines in the NXT brand until this one is available. The storyline is called “Demons and Monsters” and you learn that as champion Finn has a championship stipulation stating that all his titles matches will only last 5 minutes in length. So to prove your capable of defeating Finn you have to prove yourself by defeating 2 other superstars within a 5 minute time window. After proving yourself you will get your title opportunity and with victory secure in under 5 minutes to earn your Trophy.
Head of the Table
Win the Universal Championship in MyRISE.
This title is assigned to Roman Reigns and this storyline appears by receiving a direct message from Smackdown GM Adam Pearce who informs you about the upcoming money in the back event so progress through other storylines in the Smackdown brand until this message appears. Accept the message to start the storyline “Money in the Bank robbery” and in order to participate in the money in the bank you must first qualify but this is nothing more than a one on one match, then with that done you take part in a 6 man tag involving the 6 participants.
After these matches have been done you then need to win the money in the bank match which will setup your Universal championship match. During this match you get ambushed by the previous years money in the bank winner Kevin Owens and lose your opportunity by the match becoming an impromptu triple threat match. After this you will have to finally beat the former champion Roman Reigns to set up a match with Kevin Owens, after beating both Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens you will finally lift the title and unlock your Trophy.
Nobody is Ready For…You!
Win the SmackDown Women’s Championship in MyRISE.
This title is assigned to Asuka and this storyline appears by speaking to Smackdown GM Adam Pearce in his office who asks you about the entering the upcoming Royal Rumble match so progress through other storylines in the Smackdown brand until this becomes available. This storyline is called “No one is ready for Asuka! Or Beth Phoenix!” you learn that there is only one slot left in the rumble and that’s the number one slot so you have to beat all 29 other opponents to win.
Prior to the rumble starting you have a locker room meeting with Asuka who has the number 30 offer and is willing to trade her position with you as long as you take out your performance centre mentor Beth Phoenix prior to the rumble. Accept this offer end then you will be in a backstage brawl against Beth and injuring her will also get the lucrative number 30 spot in the rumble.
Proceeding to the rumble match you will proceed down the ramp to the ring and get ambushed by Beth who is fit enough to enter the rumble so enter and win the rumble. At this point your actions haven’t gone unnoticed by Smackdown GM Adam Pearce and he orders you into a number one contenders spot for Asuka’s title at elimination chamber which is the PPV before WrestleMania. Finally you will now proceed to face Asuka at WrestleMania and a victory will lift the title and receive this Trophy.
Brass Ring Reached!
Win the WWE Championship in MyRISE.
This title is assigned to Seth Rollins and after joining raw you will receive an introduction to the Monday nights messiahs faction so choose to join his faction. With that done proceed through the storylines until Seth appears in the Dojo and tells you about the upcoming royal rumble and securing a victory can bring the Universal title to his faction so accept his offer and the storyline “burying the competition” will commence.
Seth has pulled a favour and got you into 10 man Royal Rumble match to determine the final entrant into the proper rumble so enter and win this Rumble. Back in the locker room Seth has bad news that your the number one entrance into the rumble and it turns out it’s not possible to win this rumble as it’s part of the story that Seth is punishing you so play through each of the subsequent matches and eventually this story will lead to WrestleMania. You will face Seth and follow the on screen prompts on what actions you perform on the title match and eventually a cutscene will ensue and you will win the match and unlock the trophy in this cut scene.
Stole the GLOW
Win the RAW Women’s Championship in MyRISE.
This title is assigned to Naomi and this storyline appears by receiving a direct message from Raw GM Mandy Rose who informs you about the upcoming money in the back event so progress through other storylines in the Raw brand until this message appears. Your asked if you wish to enter the match and to start off with you must first beat an opponent to qualify for the match. With victory secure in the qualifying match you will then proceed into a 6 woman elimination match which compromises of the 6 entrants in the money in the bank match.
With both those matches out the way you move into the actual money in the bank match, so win this match to claim the briefcase and advance the story through several cut scenes and interaction screens. Eventually you will attempt to cash in your money in the bank but for this to be spoiled by Charlotte Flair losing the opportunity to win the Raw Women’s title for now. You will now fight Charlotte Flair in a number 1 contenders match for the chance to fight Naomi at Summerslam so aim this match to advance the story. Finally you will face Naomi at Summerslam and with a victory secure claim the title as well as your Trophy.
The Internet Champion
Gain 300,000 fans on social media in MyRISE.
Each storyline you participate in will increase your number of social media fans and you will unlock this trophy during natural gameplay progression towards the other trophies available in either the male or female MyRISE play through.
Old Spice – Smell Ready for Anything
Complete Challenge Matches to boost a single attribute beyond a score of 100 in MyRISE.
Each story you complete will grant you skill points to spend on the skill tree however you can’t max out a single tier of the skill tree by purchasing all the skill levels, to exceed the score of 100 you need to take part in challenge matches which in essence are one off matches that no matter the result will increase a specific attribute by 5 points per match. So keep participating in storyline matches and also these challenge matches and then systematically purchase and upgrade your character development until one of these stats exceeds 100 where your Trophy will then unlock.

The King Booker
Achieve a 5 Star Match in MyGM.
To achieve a 5 star match rating this will require several weeks of having 2 superstars build up a rivalry through matches and having them participate in a call out promo to help increase the fans interest in the rivalry. A rivalry has 4 levels and with each level increase it can and will increase the fans attention and with that rivalry built up its a good thing to end it with a special match at a PPV. You can also use special power cards that help increase a certain match types rating so with an established rivalry activate any special match power cars and then have your superstars compete in that match type. The match will take place and secure the required 5 starts unlocking your Trophy at the same time.
Keeper of Words
Fulfill a Promise to a Superstar in MyGM.
Part of your role as GM is to not only put on the best show possible for the fans but also keep your superstars happy and in return they will give more for the show. Every so often you will receive a message from a superstar who can ask for a request such as:
- A rematch after a defeat.
- Form a new tag team.
- Make a change in their fans alignment.
- Ask for a title match.
- Ask to main event a PPV.
With one of these requests made set up the relevant request as soon as feasible and at the completion of the request your Trophy will unlock.
Legends Are Never Forgotten
Sign a Legend in MyGM.
Start a new MyGM game and select William Regal as your chosen GM as he has a power card that signs any legend for free. Then proceed through all the menus setting up the game as you wish until you reach the MyGM menu. From this MyGM menu select the power cards tab and then activate the legend whisperer card which is William Regal’s personal power card, this will unlock Calling in a Favour if you don’t already have that unlocked. Now with that done choose the manage roster tab and then the sign legends sub menu. A list of legends will appear so select and sign any of the available legends to earn your Trophy.
On Top of the Mountain
Finish First in Ratings After a Full Season in MyGM.
As GM it’s your goal to beat a rival GM and secure the highest possible rating over the course of a season in the WWE Universe. To get this done when you start a new GM game set the AI difficulty to easy and set the season length to 15 weeks. You can be any GM and represent any of the 4 brands you wish and also compete against any GM and any of the brands you want, each GM and brand has its own unique power cards to use so select the one that suits you best. Then pick a mixture of male and female superstars in the draft choosing different play styles, sign legends and attempt to complete the Commissioners goal each week to gain extra power cards. The weekly shows have a variety of matches so use these shows to build up rivalries, have a title match every so often and above all else make use of your promo slots to engage the fans even more as this all helps.
Then when a Pay Per View event comes round go all out on the matches by having special matches throughout the card and use your established rivalries to your advantage as a massive climax to a rivalry can trigger a massive jump in the ratings. Power cards can also come in handy to reduce your setup costs of a Pay Per View enabling you to spend more of the budget on other areas like signing a legend or 2 to your brand as the fans do love it when a legend makes a return to a WWE ring. No matter the length of your chosen season length it will all reach a climax at WrestleMania and after this event is done the final ratings will appear a cut scene will start congratulating you on a completed season then with the rating win your Trophy will unlock.
