Here we will go over where you can acquire all of the Black Myth Wukong Awakening Wine Worms of which there are 12 throughout the first 5 chapters in the game and they are incredibly useful as they increase the value of health you will recover upon usage so more health means ore survivability. The Awakening Wine Worms will be in glowing urns usually off the main path in sometimes obscure locations tucked out of the way or behind boss arenas and whilst there are no trophies tied in to the Awakening Wine Worms I still strongly recommend you find them all with them being in the following locations:
Awakening Wine Worm 1
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Black Wind Cave, Cave Interior.
Take out the Black Wind King boss then go over to the left side of the boss arena and smash the urn with the golden glow to receive the Awakening Wine Worm.
Awakening Wine Worm 2
Location: Yellow Wind Ridge, Sandgate Village, Valley of Despair.
Come out of the cavern where you can acquire the Loong Scales and go right up the slope. Go into the tunnel behind the wall on your right and smash through anything in your way to the urn with the golden aura. Smash the urn to acquire the Awakening Wine Worm.
Awakening Wine Worm 3
Location: The New West, Pagoda Realm, Upper Pagoda.
Go up and out of the Prison to the snow covered area, take out the frozen enemy to your left then go right. Drop down from the cliff to the area below once you have taken out the flying enemy. Go clockwise around the Prison then look to your left once the area opens up to see the golden glow around the urn inside of which will be the Awakening Wine Worm.

Location: The New West, Zodiac Village.
Requirements: Purchase from Shen Monkey.
Cost: x1,500 Will.
You can purchase the Awakening Wine Worm from Shen Monkey once you have access to the Zodiac Village which you can do by completing the Chen Loong quest.
Awakening Wine Worm 5
Location: The New West, Valley of Ecstasy, Longevity Road.
Head left from the Longevity Road shrine staying on the upper ground where you will come to a powerful enemy called a Turtle Treasure. Defeat it then look at the ledge above the area to find the urn containing the Awakening Wine Worm.
Awakening Wine Worm 6
Location: Zodiac Village.
Cost: 2,500 Will.
Speak with Shen Monkey where you can purchase the Awakening Wine Worm in the Zodiac Village once you have begun Chapter 4, The Webbed Ridge.
Awakening Wine Worm 7
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Village of Lanxi, Estate of the Zhu.
Once the, The Second Sister boss has been defeated go into the courtyard then into the first building on your right, look to the top left corner to see a golden glow around an urn. Smash the urn to receive the Awakening Wine Worm.
Awakening Wine Worm 8
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of Yellow Flowers, Temple Entrance.
Climb the stairs from the Temple Entrance shrine then go right through the gardens with the Worm Practitioners and defeat the Snake Sherriff Spirit. From here you can climb the stairs into a small courtyard where Yuan Soucheng can be spoken to. Behind Yuan Soucheng will be the urn containing the Awakening Wine Worm.
Awakening Wine Worm 9
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Petalfall Hamlet.
This Awakening Wine Worm can be found in the Petalfall Hamlet region of Purple Cloud Mountain which serves as the secret area of The Webbed Ridge and is accessible by defeating the Venom Daoist boss then the Venom Daoist (second encounter) boss which then forms a painting on the cavern wall. Go through to the Petalfall Hamlet biome and defeat the Daoist Mi boss by finding the Violet Hail then returning it to the Daoist. With the fight done, go through the back wall and up the stairs where you can turn around and perform a jumping heavy attack up onto the ledge above. Go left then smash the urn which holds the Awakening Wine Worm.
Awakening Wine Worm 10
Location: Ruyi Scroll, Zodiac Village.
Requirements: Purchase from Shen Monkey.
Cost: x4,500 Will.
Once you are at the Camp of Seasons shrine in Flaming Mountains you can fast travel to Zodiac Village which is available once you have completed the Chen Loong quest. Speak with Shen Monkey and purchase the Awakening Wine Worm for 4,500 Will.
Awakening Wine Worm 11
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Rakshasa Palace.
Follow the path around to the right and cross the bridge then, instead of going right following the main path, go left and cross the lava to the cave where you can speak with Yuan Soucheng. Behind Yuan Soucheng will be the urn containing the Awakening Wine Worm.
Awakening Wine Worm 12
Location: Flaming Mountains, Bishui Caves, Corridor of Fire and Ice.
The final Awakening Wine Worm can be found in the Corridor of Fire and Ice region inside the Bishui Caves which serves as the secret area of Flaming Mountains and is accessible once you have completed the Rusty Carts quest. Work your way through the Bishui Caves to the Corridor of Fire and Ice shrine then drop down and defeat the very tough Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast boss which will place you back in the Cooling Slope region of the Flaming Mountains. From here, fast travel back to the Corridor of Fire and Ice then go through to the area behind the boss arena through the door where you will find the urn to your left which contains the Awakening Wine Worm.
