If the Yellow Loong proves to much of a challenge you can come back later in the game at either Chapter 5 or even Chapter 6 where you will be so much more powerful.

Location: The Webbed Ridge.
The Locust Antennae Mask Headgear Armour has a chance of dropping from any Grasshopper Guai enemy which can be found throughout the Webbed Ridge up until you defeat the Violet Spider boss. A good place to farm is either The Estate of the Zhu before dropping down the hole or one will spawn from the pod just over the small bridge from the Verdure Bridge shrine. Speak with Shen Monkey where you can purchase the Luojia Fragrant Vine.
Purchase Pinebrew Drink
Location: Zodiac Village.

The Second Sister Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Village of Lanxi, Estate of the Zhu.
The Second Sister boss can be fought by interacting with the gate to the left of the Estate of the Zhu shrine and is not one for the Arachnophobic amongst you. Defeat her.
Venomous Hair
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Village of Lanxi, Estate of the Zhu.
You will receive the Venomous Hair once the, The Second Sister boss has been defeated. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.
Awakening Wine Worm 2
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Village of Lanxi, Estate of the Zhu.
Once the, The Second Sister boss has been defeated go into the courtyard then into the first building on your right, look to the top left corner to see a golden glow around an urn. Smash the urn to receive the Awakening Wine Worm.
Craft Chitin Staff

Celestial Jade Lotus Pill
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Village of Lanxi, Estate of the Zhu.
With the, The Second Sister boss defeated you can go through to the back of the arena behind the hole Zhu Bajie has dug to find a small chest which contains the Celestial Jade Lotus Pill. Counts towards Medicine Meal.
Cuo Jin-Yin Belt Hook Curios
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Upper Hollow.
Having dropped down through the hole you will wake up on a bed. Turn to your right, go down the slope and open the chest to receive the Cuo Jin-Yin Belt Hook Curios. Counts towards A Curious Collection.
Lantern Holder Spirit
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Village of Lanxi, Estate of the Zhu.
Rest at the Upper Hollow shrine then fast travel back to the Estate of the Zhu which will now be during the day, go back to the courtyard where you fought the, The Second Sister boss where the Lantern Holder will be waiting for you. Defeat it then absorb the Lantern Holder Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Goji Shoots Soak
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Upper Hollow.
Go East from the Upper Hollow shrine then climb the stairs to the building at the top, look behind the wall to find a chest inside of which will be the Goji Shoots Soak. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Spine In The Sack Curios
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Upper Hollow.
As you progress through the cavern heading South from the Upper Hollow shrine, smash every cocoon you can as some will contain enemies, will or in rare cases you will receive the Spine in the Sack Curios. Counts towards A Curious Collection.
Beetle Captain Spirit
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Upper Hollow.
Head down through the caverns going as South as you can whilst staying to the right where you will come to a cavern on your right where the Beetle Captain will be waiting for you. Defeat it then absorb the Spirit. Counts toward Fickle Forms.
Travel To Pool Of Shattered Jade
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Upper Hollow.
The Pool of Shattered Jade is a very important place as it not only holds a boss, a rare Armguard and a few other things you need it’s also one of the best farming spots for XP and Will in the game and to get there you need to drop down off the wooden planks after going South from the Upper Hollow then follow the dangerous path up pass a Scorpion Prince and a lot of other enemies. Use Cloud Step to get around most of the enemies then sprint up the hill. Rest at the shrine then go back and take care of the enemies if you want to.
Meditation Spot
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Pool of Shattered Jade.
Now that you have access to the Pool of Shattered Jade, look to the water in the open section just below the shrine to find the Meditation Spot. Counts towards Scenic Seeker.
Venom Daoist Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Pool of Shattered Jade.
The Venom Daoist boss is a very important one as it holds the rarest Arm Armour in the game, the Venomous Armguard so before going through to the fight ensure you are over-powered, have access to at least 3 focus points, have a Spirit such as Wandering Wight, Second Rat Prince or Apramana Bat then go through the cave to the right of the shrine, destroy the large cocoon then during the fight only focus your attacks on the Venom Daoist’s back as you need to smash his arms off to receive the Armguard.
Venomous Armguard Arm Armour
Highly Missable.
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Pool of Shattered Jade.
Ensure you focus all of your attacks on the Venom Daoist boss’s back to smash the arms off where you will receive the Venomous Armguard. If you fail to get it then you will need to try again in new game+. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Xiang River Goddess Gourd
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
Go left from the Verdure Bridge shrine then over to the 2 glowing lanterns, watch the cutscene then enter the cave where you can loot the chests with one of them having the Xiang River Goddess Gourd inside. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Purple-Veined Peach Pit Soak
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
Go left from the Verdure Bridge shrine then over to the 2 glowing lanterns, watch the cutscene then enter the cave where you can loot the chests with one of them having the Purple-Veined Peach Pit Soak inside. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Enhanced Ginseng Pellets Formula
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
Go left from the Verdure Bridge shrine then over to the 2 glowing lanterns, watch the cutscene then enter the cave where you can loot the chests with one of them having the Enhanced Ginseng Pellets Formula inside. Counts towards Page Preserver.
Elder Armourworm Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
Go through the cave where you looted the chest, smash through the cocoons then drop down off the ledge to face off against the Elder Armourworm boss who favours Venom Bane and heavy attacks. Defeat it. Refer to the Elder Armourworm boss guide.
Proto-Armourworm
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
Once the Elder Armourworm boss has been defeated you will receive the Proto-Armourworm. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Farm Rice Cocoons
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
As you will have no doubt seen as you make your way through The Webbed Hollow region there are a lot of smashable cocoons, you will need to smash these cocoons until you receive 3 Rice Cocoons which will appear on screen like a normal item. You may already have them by this point or if not keep farming cocoons until you have 3 in total. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Return To Zodiac Village
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
Once you have acquired 3 Rice Cocoons, return to Zodiac Village.
Elder Armourworm Spirit
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
With the Proto-Armourworm and 3 Rice Cocoons acquired you are now free to grow the Elder Armourworm Spirit so speak to Chen Loong in the building behind Shen Monkey in the Zodiac Village and give him the Proto-Armourworm. Rest at the shrine then look at the ridge to the right of Chen Loong to see the Proto-Armourworm sitting in a basket. Feed it 3 Rice Cocoons then rest at the Shrine again. Go back to the Proto-Armourworm who will now have morphed into the Elder Armourworm Spirit which you can absorb and this is an incredibly useful Spirit against some of the tougher bosses as it not only smacks it also inflicts Venom Bane. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Scorpion Prince Spirit
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
Cross the walkway to the left of the Verdure Bridge shrine, go right then after dropping down go up to your left where you will find the Scorpion Prince pacing around. This guy is boss level tough especially if the area starts to fill with other enemies most of whom try and web you in place so do your best to defeat them then put the Scorpion Prince down which allows you to absorb its Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Deathstinger Soak
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
Put the Scorpion Prince down to receive the Deathstinger Soak. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 2
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
With the Scorpion Prince defeated, clear out any other enemies in the local area which allows you to loot the Luojia Fragrant Vine 2 from the tree in the centre of the courtyard.
Mirage Pill Formula
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
Firstly, defeat the Scorpion Prince then run up the stairs at the back of the courtyard, go into the building on your right and loot the chest to acquire the Mirage Pill Formula. Counts towards Page Preserver.
Worryfree Brew Drink
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
Continue up to the area from the Scorpion Prince, cross the wooden bridge then smash through the cocoons blocking the entrance to the building on your left. Interact with the kettle on the coals to receive the Worryfree Brew Drink. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Purple Altars Quest
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
The Purple Altars quest will require you to remove talismans from 4 altars throughout The Webbed Ridge which allows you to fight a secret boss.
Purple Altar 1
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
With the Worryfree Brew Drink collected, cross the area going towards the purple glow where a cutscene will play, with the cutscene done you can then collect the first talisman.
Puppet Spider Spirit
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
Starting back at the Verdure Bridge shrine, go forward staying right, drop down then this time take the right pathway where a Puppet Spider will drop down. Defeat it then smash your way through the cocoons on your left to come to a cave inside of which will be a few enemies including the Puppet Spider who you need to defeat in order to be able to absorb its Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Meditation Spot 2
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Middle Hollow.
Look at the Middle Hollow shrine then turn around and go towards the edge of the abyss to find the 2nd Meditation Spot. Counts towards Scenic Seeker.
Centipede Guai Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Middle Hollow.
Drop down into the pit with the mountain of skulls which spawns the Centipede Guai boss. Watch for the smaller, rolling Centipedes as they can inflict heavy damage and Venom Bane. Defeat them all.
Centipede Guai Spirit
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Middle Hollow.
With the Centipede Guai boss defeated, you can then collect the Centipede Guai Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Ma Tianba
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Bonevault.
Go up and around from the Bonevault shrine where you will see a larger than usual cocoon just as you get to the grass covered area. Attack the cocoon to free Ma Tianba. Ensure you exhaust all of his dialogue after the cutscene. Counts towards Urge Unfulfilled.
Purple Altar 2
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Cliff of Oblivion.
Rest at the Cliff of Oblivion shrine then look to your right to see the purple altar in a small pond. Go up to it and remove the purple talisman.
Boddhisatva's Right Hand Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Cliff of Oblivion.
Enter the long tunnel to the left of the /Cliff of Oblivion shrine where the Boddhisatva’s right hand boss will be waiting for you. Use Cloud Step to get behind the boss when it spews poison.
Boddhisattva's Right Hand
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Cliff of Oblivion.
With the Boddhisatva’s Right Hand boss defeated you will receive the Boddhisatva’s Right Hand. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Celestial Taiyi Pill
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Cliff of Oblivion.
Once the Boddhisatva’s Right Hand boss has been taken down its corpse will be used to form a bridge. Cross the bridge then immediately go up to your left, follow the path to find a chest which holds the Celestial Taiyi Pill. Counts towards Medicine Meal.
Travel To Relief Of Fallen Loong Shrine
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Cliff of Oblivion.
With the Boddhisatva’s Right Hand boss defeated, cross the corpse then follow the path round, drop down the left side of the path, cross the bridge, follow the linear path then use Cloud Step to easily cross the bridge with the cocoons then use the kick to take out the Dragonfly Guai at the end. Continue forward taking out the Beetle’s then follow the path left to find the Relief of Fallen Loong shrine.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 3
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Relief of Fallen Loong.
Go West to the edge of the area between the cliff and the abyss where you will be able to harvest the 3rd Luojia Fragrant Vine from the tree.
Purple Altar 3
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Relief of Fallen Loong.
Face the Relief of Fallen Loong shrine then go left and right up the hill. Take out the Scorpion then enter the cavern, go left then right up the stairs. Go forward then over to your right where you will see purple glow coming from the altar. Remove the Talisman.
Puppet Tick Spirit
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Relief of Fallen Loong.
In the same cavern where you went to Purple Altar 3, go over to the right side of the cavern where you will find 3 Puppet Ticks, take them all down then absorb the Puppet Tick Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Meditation Spot 3
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Lower Hollow.
Face the Lower Hollow shrine, go back the way you came then through the crack in the wall on your left. Go up to your right to find the Meditation Spot. Counts towards Scenic Seeker.
Baw-Li-Guhh-Baw Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Lower Hollow.
Follow the path from the Meditation Spot then drop down into the water where the Baw-Li-Guhh-Baw boss will be waiting for you who comes at you hard with Venom, Magic and a lot of melee attacks. Defeat it. Counts towards A Clamor of Frogs.
Boddhisattva's Left Hand
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Lower Hollow.
You will receive the Boddhisatva’s Left Hand once the Baw-Li-Guhh-Baw boss has been defeated. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Purchase Immortal Blessing Gourd
Location: Ruyi Scroll, Zodiac Village.
Requirements: Purchase from Shen Monkey.

Zhu Bajie Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Hut of Immortality.
Enter the area at the back of the Hit of Immortality region then defeat the Zhu Bajie boss.
Zhu Bajie Boss Second Encounter
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Hut of Immortality.
Rest at the shrine having defeated the Zhu Bajie boss then go up the hill and through the crack in the wall where you will fight the true version of Zhu Bajie, this guy can be tough as in the first half of the fight he is himself, in the second half he turns into a Boar, a whale and a Rhino all of which have their own attacks you need to learn and work around. Defeat them all.
Blood Stained Needle
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Hut of Immortality.
Once the Zhu Bajie boss has been defeated you will obtain the Blood Stained Needle. Counts towards Treasure Trove.
Jade Moon Rabbit Curios
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Hut of Immortality.
With the Zhu Bajie boss dead you will then receive the Jade Moon Rabbit Curios. Counts towards A Curious Collection.
Craft Non-Pure Broken Mask Headgear Armour

Skandha Of Choice
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, The Purifying Spring.
Drop down into the water on your left as you work through the Purifying Spring biome, go to the end of the river where you will see a quick cutscene where the Monkey disappears. Interact with the Buddha’s head to receive the Skandha of Choice. Counts towards unlocking the Giant Shigandang boss.
Dragonfly Guai Spirit
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, The Purifying Spring.
Go over to the right side of the Purifying Spring after climbing the slope then jump over the rocks to find the Dragonfly Guai. Defeat it then absorb the spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Violet Spider Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, The Gathering Cave.
Drop down from the Gathering Cave shrine which initiates a cutscene. Once it’s over you will come up against the powerful, Violet Spider boss. Defeat her.
Spider Leg
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, The Gathering Cave.
You will receive the Spider Leg once the Violet Spider boss has been defeated. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 4
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Mountain Trail.
As soon as you arrive on the Mountain Trail having defeated the Violet Spider boss, go up the slope and collect the fourth Luojia Fragrant Vine from the tree.
Fruit Of Dao Soak
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Mountain Trail.
The Fruit of Dao Soak has a chance of dropping from any Human enemy in the Temple of the Yellow Flower so keep defeating them until you receive the Fruit of Dao Soak. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Bee Mountain Stone Soak
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Mountain Trail.
Head up and round to the courtyard once you have entered the Mountain Trail, turn left to find a chest on a table inside of which will be the Bee Mountain Stone Soak. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Craft Spider Celestial Staff
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Mountain Trail.
Requirements: Craft at shrine.
Cost: Spider Leg, x4 Gold Tree Core, x8 Refined Iron Sand, x30,000 Will.
With the Spider Leg acquired you can craft the Spider Celestial Staff at the shrine. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.
Meditation Spot 4
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Forest of Ferocity.
From the Forest of Ferocity shrine, go left then take the only right you can to find the fourth Meditation Spot. Counts towards Scenic Seeker.
Commander Beetle Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Forest of Ferocity.
The Commander Beetle can be found off the main path, take out the Snake Herbalist and run up the stairs then if you look to your right you will see a group being trained by Commander Beetle, take the Warriors out as quickly as you can then focus on the Commander Beetle Boss until it’s defeated.
Commander Beetle Spirit
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Forest of Ferocity.
With the Commander Beetle boss defeated you can then absorb the Commander Beetle Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Tablet of The Three Supremes Curios
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Forest of Ferocity.
With the Commander Beetle boss defeated you will be able to loot the chest at the back of its arena to acquire the Tablet of the Three Supremes Curios. Counts towards A Curios Collection.
Virtuous Bamboo Engraving Curios
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Temple Entrance.
The Virtuous Bamboo Engraving Curios has a rare chance of dropping from Worm Practitioner, the blade wielding, Venom spewing humanoid enemies and the best place to farm them is by going right into the gardens after climbing the stairs from the Temple Entrance shrine. Eliminate all of the Worm Practitioners until you receive the Virtuous Bamboo Engraving Curios. Counts towards A Curious Collection.
Meditation Spot 5
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Temple Entrance.
Climb the stairs from the Temple Entrance shrine then enter the gardens on your right. The Meditation Spot can be found on the left side of the gardens, however, you will need to defeat any Worm Practitioner who aggros before you can use the Meditation Spot. Counts towards Scenic Seeker.
Snake Sherriff Spirit
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Temple Entrance.
Enter the gardens where you found the 5th Meditation Spot then climb the stairs at the back where you can engage and defeat the Snake Sherriff whose Spirit you can then acquire. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Speak With Yuan Soucheng
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Temple Entrance.
Behind the area where you collected the Snake Sherriff Spirit will be a small staircase you can climb leading you to an area where you can speak with Yuan Soucheng. Ensure you exhaust all of his dialogue. Counts towards Always Accompanied.
Awakening Wine Worm 3
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Temple Entrance.
Just behind the Old Man will be an urn with a golden glow you can smash to collect the 3rd Awakening Wine Worm.
Tiger Tendon Belt Curios
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Temple Entrance.
The Tiger Tendon Belt Curios has a rare chance of dropping from Snake Sherriff enemies, the easiest one I found to farm is by going back out the way you came from the Court of Illumination shrine, defeat the 2 Warriors then go left to find a Snake Sherriff in the water. Defeat it over and over again until you receive the Tiger Tendon Belt Curios. Counts towards A Curious Collection.
Purple Altar 4
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination.
Ensure you have collected all 3 Purple Talismans then go through the gap in the wall behind the Court of Illumination Shrine, up the stairs then go to the Purple Altar. If you aren’t able to get through the forcefield then you haven’t collected all of 3 Talismans. If you have you can go through and remove the fourth and final talisman from the Altar.
Supreme Inspector Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination.
Once you collect the fourth and final purple Talisman the Supreme Inspector boss will come down and attack you. Deal around 25% damage to it which initiates a cut scene.
Crane Immortal
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination.
The Crane Immortal will appear once you have dealt enough damage to the Supreme Inspector boss. Counts towards Portraits Perfected.
Celestial Nonary Pill
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination.
Once you have collected all 4 Purple Talismans and have defeated the Supreme Inspector boss you can then go through into the small building and loot the chest which holds the Celestial Nonary Pill. Counts towards Medicine Meal.
Fungiwoman Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination.
Look at the Court of Illumination shrine then turn around and follow the path straight, go up the stairs then round to the right following the path to the open area. Near the end over to the right will be a Snake-Headed Mushroom you can try to harvest. This spawns the incredibly annoying Fungiwoman boss who can heal back to full health in an instant so go in with full aggression to take her down.
Fungiwoman Spirit
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination.
With the Fungiwoman boss defeated you can then collect the Fungiwoman Spirit, if like me you died from the Venom Bane you can retrieve her Spirit from the shrine. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Monkey-Head Fungus Seed
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination.
You will receive the Monkey-Head Fungus Seed once the Fungiwoman boss has been defeated. Counts towards Seeds to Sow.
Sunset Of The Nine Skies Drink
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination.
You will be able to collect the Sunset of the Nine Skies Drink from the table at the back of the area from where you defeated the Fungiwoman boss. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Venom Daoist Boss Second Encounter
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination.
Face the Court of Illumination shrine then turn around and follow the path forward and up the stairs, go up to your right then double back around to the left to find a steep slope you can follow to a cavern where you will be able to take on and defeat the 2 stage Venom Daoist (second encounter) boss.
Enter Purple Cloud Mountain
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination.
With the Venom Daoist (second encounter) boss completely defeated you will then be able to interact with the painting on the wall the Daoist activates as he dies to enter the Secret area of The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain.
Snake Herbalist Spirit
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Valley of Blooms.
Starting from the Valley of Blooms shrine, cross the bridge then go left and follow the path straight to find the Snake Herbalist on the main path, you might need to take out the troublesome Dragonfly Guai on either side as their attacks are set to interrupt your own. Either way, defeat the Snake Herbalist then absorb its Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Gold Sun Crow Curios
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Valley of Blooms.
Cross the bridge from the Valley of Blooms shrine then take the right up the hill, follow the path along and up the fallen tree to find a chest which holds the Gold Sun Cros Curios. Counts towards A Curios Collection.
Celestial Registry Tablet Curios
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Valley of Blooms.
Cross the plain after jumping down into the water to the right of the Valley of Blooms shrine then look to where the Yellow Warrior will be, just in front of a small gazebo. Loot the chest to obtain the Celestial Registry Curios. Counts towards A Curious Collection.
Verdant Glow Spirit
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Valley of Blooms.
Drop down into the water to the right of the Valley of Blooms shrine, jump up to dry land then go up to your right to find a Lushleaf who will awaken as you get close. Defeat it then absorb the Verdant Glow Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 5
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Valley of Blooms.
Once the Verdant Glow Spirt has been collected look at the tree to your right to see the 5th Luojia Fragrant Vine you can collect in the Webbed Ridge.
Undying Vine Soak
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Valley of Blooms.
The Undying Vine Soak is a rare drop from Lushleaf enemies and the easiest one to farm is found by starting at the Valley of Blooms shrine, cross the bridge then go round to the left. The Lushleaf will awaken who you can defeat as many times as is needed until you acquire the Undying Vine Soak. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Meditation Spot 6
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Bounds of Deity’s Abode.
Go to the left of the Bounds of Deity’s Abode shrine then take a right up the hill. Take out any enemies who aggro then continue forward where you will find the 6th Meditation Spot overlooking the Scorpionlord arena. Counts towards Scenic Seeker.
Scorpionlord Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Bounds of Deity’s Abode.
The Scorpionlord boss is easily one of the toughest in the game due to its range, power, agility and all round being incredibly annoying to deal with. This may well brick wall you in the game, he is that tough albeit not with the greatest defence and health meaning you can unload but in short bursts and whilst avoiding the sheer power of his attacks. Ensure you defeat the Scorpionloard before taking on the Duskviel boss otherwise the Duskveil will kill the Scorpionlord and you will miss out on some important items.
Sky-Piercing Horn
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Bounds of Deity’s Abode.
With the Scoprionlord boss defeated you will acquire the Sky-Piercing Horn. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.
Deathstinger
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Bounds of Deity’s Abode.
Once the Scoprionlord boss has been defeated you will receive the Deathstinger. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Stained Jade Gourd
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Bounds of Deity’s Abode.
You will receive the Stained Jade Gourd once the Scorpionlord boss has been defeated. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Craft Venomous Sting Insect Chest Armour
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Bounds of Deity’s Abode.
Requirements: Craft at shrine.
Cost: x5 Cold Iron Leaves, x2 Fine Gold Thread, Deathstinger, x8,000 Will.
Having defeated the Scorpionlord boss you will have received the Deathstinger which you can use to craft the Venomous Sting Insect Chest Armour at the shrine. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Daoist Mi Quest
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Petalfall Hamlet.
You will be able to begin the Daoist Mi quest by going forward from the Petalfall Hamlet shrine then over to the left to the building where the Daoist Mi will be waiting to speak with you.
Violet Hail
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Petalfall Hamlet.
During the Daoist Mi quest you will need to take down the Yellow-Robed Warriors until you receive the Violet Hail key item.
Daoist Mi Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Petalfall Hamlet.
You can return the Violet Hail to the Daoist Mi who will then turn into a 2 phase boss, the first fight will be against a sword wielding warrior, the second will be against a powerful, venom spewing Worm Practitioner. Defeat them both.
Violet Hail Transformation
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Petalfall Hamlet.
You will receive the Violet Hail transformation as a reward for defeating the Daoist Mi boss. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Awakening Wine Worm 4
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Petalfall Hamlet.
Go through the archway in the back wall after defeating the Daoist Mi boss, go up the stairs then turn around to see a ledge you can jump then use a heavy attack to flip onto. Go left then smash the urn with the golden glow to receive the fourth Awakening Wine Worm.
Life-Saving Pill Formula
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Cloudnest Peak.
Look at the Cloudnest Peak shrine then go right taking out the enemies as you go. Look behind the wall inside the only building you can enter to find a chest which holds the Life-Saving Pill Formula. Counts towards Page Preserver.
The Duskveil Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Cloudnest Peak.
Climb the stairs from the Cloudnest Peak shrine then enter the arena only after the Scorpionlord boss has been defeated otherwise the Duskveil will kill the Scorpion who you will then need to defeat on new game+ and it’s tough enough on your first run through. The Duskveil will be a 2 stage boss so eliminate the first Duskveil whilst conserving your resources for the second phase where you will need to go all out to put the Rooster down. With the Duskveil boss defeated you will unlock The Cockerel Crowed.
Weaver's Needle Vessel
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Cloudnest Peak.
You will receive the Weaver’s Needle Vessel once the Duskveil boss has been defeated. Counts towards Treasure Trove.
The Duskveil's Horn
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Cloudnest Peak.
You will receive the Duskveil’s Horn once you have defeated the Duskveil boss. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Double-Combed Rooster Blood Soak
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Cloudnest Peak.
You will be awarded the Double-Combed Rooster Blood Soak once you’re back in the Court of Illumination having defeated the Duskveil boss. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Craft Iron-Horned Helm Headgear Armour
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Camp of Seasons.

Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Relief of Fallen Loong.
The Yellow Loong boss is a seriously tough competitor and one who can combo you back to the shrine time and time again. With everyone else in The Webbed Ridge defeated save for the last boss you can return to the Relief of Fallen Loong shrine, go up the hill to your right then get ready for a beating. The Rock Solid spell will come in very handy here as will as much defence as you can. With the Yellow Loong boss defeated you will unlock The Sire and Sons.
Sea-Supporting Tendon
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Relief of Fallen Loong.
You will receive the Sea-Supporting Tendon once the Yellow Loong boss has been defeated. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.
Golden Carp Curios
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Relief of Fallen Loong.
With the Yellow Loong boss defeated you will receive the Golden Carp Curios. Counts towards A Curious Collection.
Golden Lining Transformation
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Relief of Fallen Loong.
With the Yellow Loong boss defeated you will receive the Golden Lining Transformation. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Craft Golden Loong Staff

You can craft the Golden Loong Staff at the shrine once you have defeated the Yellow Loong boss and have the required materials, if you need more Kun Steel, the Duskveil boss and Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master boss both drop Kun Steel. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.
Hundred Eyed-Daoist Master Boss
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination.
The Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master boss can be found by entering the flower field from the Court of Illumination shrine and can be made a lot easier by having the Weaver’s Needle Vessel equipped which you will have received once the Duskveil boss has been defeated. Ensure you get as much damage in as you can while the Daoist is pre-occupied with the Spiders then save the Weaver’s Needle for when the boss swallows the sword. Defeat the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master to conclude the Webbed Ridge.
Golden Glowing Eye
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination.
You will receive the Golden Glowing Eye once the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master has been defeated. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.
Envious Tongue Relic
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination.
With the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master boss defeated you will receive the Envious Tongue Relic. Counts towards Six Senses Secured.
