Lies Of P Trophy Guide

Welcome to the Lies of P trophy guide which will help you quell the puppet uprising as Pinocchio, a Puppet wishing to be a real boy in this re-telling of the classic Disney movie in a horrific re-enactment.

Lies of P is essentially Bloodborne but more and I don’t say that lightly as Bloodborne has been GOTY for me for the 9 years since it came out, I adore Bloodborne, however, Lies of P dare I say it does it better, it has more polish, more fluidity and some of the best boss design I have ever seen in a Souls-like and I have covered a good number of them.

One thing Lies of P does incredibly well is the combat balanced with the difficulty, each new weapon is strategically placed to give you the edge required as well as giving you the items you need to help you get through some of the tougher section as long as you know where to look. Lies of P rewards learning through failure, learning through death and learning through despair. Forcing you to mix up your playstyle so you always have the edge over your adversaries as you work through the game to either become famous for being a liar or a noble hero who always seeks the truth regardless of who it may hurt.

Lies of P is by no means in any way shape or form an easy game. You can die just as easily to a standard enemy as you can to a hulking 50 foot boss charging directly at you but that said, the rewards you receive for putting enemies down however low level they may be can help you so much through the tough as nails 2nd half of the game that you never feel like you’re wasting time by grinding out areas looking for every secret it has to offer and rooting out every weapon, hidden boss and chest all of which have their own place and purpose.

Playthrough wise you will need to make 2 complete runs through the game back to back. On your first playthrough I strongly recommend lying at every opportunity to reduce your Humanity and become more machine like then on your 2nd playthrough you will then be free to tell the truth as you go which will unlock any missing collectibles which became unobtainable on your lying playthrough.

As you work your way through the game you will defeat bosses, several of who will drop rare named Ergo which you need to save until later in the game. It may be tempting consume the Ergo as it can give you a few early levels, however, if you do consume the Ergo you then won’t be able to buy certain Special Weapons all of which are required as you work towards unlocking, Special Weapon Collector.

There are a lot of missable elements in all 11 Chapters throughout Lies of P which can and will lock you out of either trophies or trophy progression so to that end I have put together a  Story Progression Essential guide to prevent you missing anything as you progress through the game which you can find by referring to the Lies of P Story Progression Essentials.

The main crux of the trophies will be earnt by progressing through the story, refer to the Lies of P story Lies and Truths for how best to answer the various questions which arise on your playthrough then choose the correct answer taking care as once you make your selection that’s it. There’s no manual saves or do-overs here.

Once a decision is made that’s it until your next playthrough. You are free to revisit any previous biome up until the point in the story where you are done at the Barren Swamp so ensure you have everything you need from Chapter 1 as it will become locked out once the Puppet-Devouring Green Monster boss is defeated. Play through the main game to the Relic of Trismegistus Entrance biome where you will unlock the following trophies along the way:

Now that you’re in the end game there are several more trophies you will be able to unlock as you will have access to all of the required areas and depending on how diligent you were in getting to this point you may have already unlocked a good number of the following trophies:

With all of the above done you then need to work through the end game taking care of the decisions you make. You still have a fair way to go from the, The Relic of Trismegistus Entrance biome and the game will spike heavily in difficulty so take a couple of hours to grind out a few more levels and ensure you have enough gear to get you through the encounters.

Between the Relic of Trismegistus Combat Field and the Arche Abbey Prayer Room biomes you can earn a fair few of the other trophies in the game which are:

Once the Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss have been taken down you can then head to the final Chapter in the game, Arche Abbey which holds some formidable challenges and no less than 6 bosses and many Elites for you to wade through as you work through ever increasingly difficult areas. 3 bosses in Arche Abbey are mandatory and 3 are optional.

There are 3 endings in Lies of P which require 3 playthroughs to see them all, there are ways of doing it through game save uploads, copying saves etc. But legitimately there are 3 playthroughs required. Your first playthrough will be your Lie playthrough where you can acquire all but 6 of the trophies in the game and 2 of them are for the other endings with the third being Lies of P. You will then have Golden Melody, The Story of One Father and The Story of a Stranger Girl to unlock.

Before defeating the Laxasia the Complete boss you need to ensure you have spoken to Test Subject 826 in the Arche Abbey Outer Wall biome by dropping down to the lower level where the Macho Man is and going through the tunnel with the trap plates on the floor. Ride the elevator down and have a conversation. Test Subject 826 will, later on, sell you the last normal weapon in the game but we’ll get to that shortly.

Once you have defeated the Laxasia the Complete boss (refer to The Complete One) you then need to wait before going through into the next room. Ensure you have listened to all 9 Records at the gramophone in Hotel Krat in full (you should have 9 by this point in the game. Refer to Golden Melody) and that you have seen the “Your Heart is Pounding” message appear on screen where you will then be ready to become Human.

Go through to the room at the back of the Ascension Bridge biome, speak to Sophia where you need to choose the “Give her Peace” dialogue option to receive the Entreat Gesture as well as being able to collect the Golden Lie Special Weapon from the portrait in Geppetto’s quarters which will unlock:

With Laxasia the Complete (refer to The Complete One) and having spoken to Test Subject 826 you can now go to the Rosa Isabelle Street Culvert biome and speak to Test Subject 826 who will sell you what should be your last normal weapon as well as being able to conclude Lady Antonia’s questline unlocking:

Continue through the game to the Cradle of the Gods biome where you can then take down the penultimate boss in the game who you then need to lie to answering “I liberated her from Arche Abbey” dialogue option to unlock:

You can now go down into the Under the Abyss biome and refuse to give Geppetto your Heart which will initiate a boss fight as well as unlock the true ending unlocking the following trophies in the process:

Let the credits roll then refuse to go into New Game+ when prompted on screen where you will then be back in Hotel Krat where you can unlock the following trophies as long as you have been following along with the guides and recommendations:

With all of the above complete you can now enter New Game+ where can work towards unlocking the following trophies:

With your 2nd playthrough done you will now be more than powerful enough to run through NG+2 where you will finish up the game unlocking:

Here are some guides to help you through some of the more challenging areas and elements in Lies of P by expanding the shops, gaining upgrade materials and helping you navigate through through this incredibly complex game:

PlayStation Gold Trophy

Real boy : They all lived happily ever after
[Real boy: They all lived happily ever after] Reach the ending.

Story related, 3rd playthrough.
I recommend leaving this one until your third and final playthrough which will, if you have followed along with the rest of the Lies of P guides I have put together, be the last trophy left for to unlock Lies of P.

Defeat the Simon Manus, Awakened God boss (refer to The Awakened God), take the elevator down and give Geppetto your Heart where he will then thank you which rolls the “bad ending” where Carlos is resurrected and everyone in Hotel Krat is subsequently assassinated which will unlock, Real boy : They all lived happily ever after.

70 G

Free from the puppet string
[Free from the puppet string] Reach the ending.

Story related, 2nd playthrough.
Providing you are following along with our Lies of P guides you will unlock the “Good Ending” on your 2nd playthrough which should be, as much as you can a Truth playthrough. When you get to the room where Sophia can be found in Chapter 11 after you have defeated the Laxasia the Complete boss (refer to The Complete One) you need to choose the “Let her live” dialogue option.

You can then defeat the Simon Manus, Awakened God boss (refer to The Awakened God), take the elevator down to Geppetto and refuse to give him your Heart which will initiate a fight against the Nameless Puppet boss (refer to The First Puppet).

With Sophia alive you will then get the “good ending” which unlocks, Free from the puppet string.

Lies Of P Rise of P trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

80 G

Rise of P
[Rise of P] Reach the ending.

Story related, first playthrough.
This is the most complicated, complex ending to unlock and to do so you need to lie at every opportunity as well as play every record you will have acquired up until the point where you defeat Laxasia the Complete (refer to The Complete One) of which there are 9 where you will have received the on screen message “Your Heart is Pounding“.

Combine this with hanging the Portrait of a Boy acquired after you defeat the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss (refer to The Delayed Match) which needs to be immediately hung in Geppetto’s office where you will then be very close to unlocking the Golden Lie Special Weapon (refer to Special Weapon Collector) then go into the room at the other side of the Ascension Bridge biome in Chapter 11.

You will find Sophia in this room and you need to choose the “Give her peace” dialogue option which will then allow Sophia to die. Your hair will then turn grey and you will have achieved peak Humanity. Go back to Hotel Krat and collect the Golden Lie Special Weapon from the portrait in Geppetto’s office.

Go and defeat the Simon Manus, Awakened God boss (refer to The Awakened God) then take the elevator down and refuse to give Geppetto the Heart which will initiate a fight against the best boss in the game, The Nameless Puppet boss (refer to The First Puppet) who, once defeated will then roll the “best ending” unlocking Rise of P in the process.

Lies Of P The First Puppet trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

The First Puppet
Kill the Nameless Puppet.

Story related.
The Nameless Puppet is an optional boss at the very end of the game in the final chapter, Under the Abyss and one who you will only be able to fight as long as you are going for the Rise of P ending.

Refuse to give Geppetto your heart when he asks for your sacrifice to initiate the boss fight against the Nameless Puppet which is the best fight in the game in terms of difficulty, balance and overall gamer satisfaction. You will need to utilise all of your skills to bring the Nameless Puppet down where you will then unlock The First Puppet.

Refer to the Nameless Puppet boss guide for a look at how to bring this puppet Ninja down.

Lies Of P Strongest Normal Weapon trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

Strongest Normal Weapon
Strengthen a normal weapon to its max level.

You can strengthen (upgrade) weapons with Eugenie in Hotel Krat and to fully upgrade a weapon you will need to be in the end game which is where you will have the final materials required.

Each upgrade requires Moonstones in various forms most of which can be purchased from Polendina in Hotel Krat once you have returned all 3 Krat Supply Boxes as well as requiring a small amount of Ergo per upgrade.

The final material you will need to push your weapon to +10 is a Full Moonstone 1 of which is awarded to you once you have defeated the Corrupted Parade Master boss and unlike the materials you need to take your weapon from upgrades 1 through 9, Full Moonstones are finite so choose which weapon you want to push to level 10.

The maximum level you can take a normal weapon in Lies of P is 10 which requires the following materials to reach each upgrade level:

  • Level 1: x1 Hidden Moonstone, x200 Ergo.
  • Level 2: x2 Hidden Moonstone, x230 Ergo.
  • Level 3: x4 Hidden Moonstone, x250 Ergo.
  • Level 4: x1 Crescent Moonstone, x320 Ergo.
  • Level 5: x2 Crescent Moonstone, x430 Ergo.
  • Level 6: x4 Crescent Moonstone, x600 Ergo.
  • Level 7: x1 Half Moonstone, x860 Ergo.
  • Level 8: x2 Half Moonstone, x1,160 Ergo.
  • Level 9: x4 Half Moonstone, x1,570 Ergo.
  • Level 10: x1 Full Moonstone, x2,100 Ergo.

Once you have upgraded a normal weapon to level 10 you will unlock Strongest Normal Weapon.

Lies Of P Strongest Special Weapon trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

Strongest Special Weapon
Strengthen a special weapon to its max level.

Before you can strengthen (upgrade) a Special Weapon to its max you will firstly need to return all 3 Krat Supply Boxes to Polendina where you can then purchase the required materials.

You will need a good amount of rare upgrade materials, all of which can be acquired in the endgame if you’re running short on materials with Polendina with Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenants being required for the most part before finishing up with 3 Full Moonstone of the Covenant items (purchasable with Polendina). You will also need a small amount of Ergo per upgrade but you should easily have enough by this point either in your bag (do not use boss Ergo) or just go kill a handful of low level enemies to get enough.

You can find all of the Special Weapons in the game which you can start collecting before you take down the Fallen Archbishop Andreus boss in Chapter 4 with Alidoro by referring to Special Weapon Collector.

The maximum level you can take a Special Weapon to is 5 which requires the following materials to reach peak level:

  • Level 1 x1 Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant, x200 Ergo.
  • Level 2: x2 Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant, x230 Ergo.
  • Level 3: x4 Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant, x260 Ergo.
  • Level 4: x1 Full Moonstone of the Covenant, x320 Ergo.
  • Level 5: x2 Full Moonstone of the Covenant, x430 Ergo.

Try not to level just any weapon, ensure you save your materials for the best 2 weapons obtaining by the end of the mid game which are either the Puppet Ripper (defeat Romeo, King of Puppets boss) or the amazing albeit hard to wield Two Dragon’s Sword (defeat Puppet-Devouring Green Monster boss).

Once you have upgraded any Special Weapon to level 5 you will then unlock, Strongest Special Weapon.

Lies Of P Strongest Legion Arm trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

Strongest Legion Arm
Modify a Legion Arm to its max level.

Before you can modify a Legion Arm you will firstly need Legion Calibers. Each upgrade on a Legion Arm will require 1 Legion Caliber and can be performed at the Venigni Legion Arm machine which is accessible after Venigni arrives at Hotel Krat once you have defeated the King’s Flame, Fuoco boss.

Go to the Venigni Legion Arm then choose the Modify Legion Arm where you can then increase the efficiency and power of any Legion Arm (refer to Legion Arm Collector for how to acquire every Legion Arm).

Increase any Legion Arm to Level 3 which is the maximum to unlock Strongest Legion Arm.

Lies Of P Extreme Potential trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

Extreme Potential
Activate P-Organ to Phase 5.

In order to activate your P-Organ you will firstly need to defeat the Mad Donkey boss in Chapter 2 which frees Geppetto who you can speak to on the first floor of Hotel Krat in the back room which becomes his chambers.

Just to the left of Geppetto is a chair with electric orbs either side of it. This is where you activate your P-Organ which is how you make your character a lot more powerful through P-Organ upgrades.

In order to perform an upgrade you will need Quartz, a rare material usually found by taking out bosses, entering Trinity Sanctums, found in chests off the beaten track or purchasable from Polendina once you have returned the Krat Supply Boxes.

You will need to activate your P-Organ in stages from 1-5 with more and more Quartz required for each level and the choices you make to upgrade will determine how efficient you in making your way through the game.

Here are the upgrades I chose on my way to level 5, you can either use the same or make your own choices depending on your preferred abilities:

You can choose any series of sub abilities which then unlocks the main node subsequently unlocking the next level of P-Organ. I have put a guide together detailing where you can find every piece of Quartz which you can find by referring to the Quartz locations guide.

Keep upgrading your abilities and P-Organ until you have worked through the first 4 phases where you will then unlock Extreme Potential upon reaching P-Organ level 5.

Lies Of P Pianist of Krat trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

Pianist of Krat
Play a perfect tune on the piano at Hotel Krat.

Before you can play a perfect tune on the piano you will firstly need to become fully Human where you have grey hair and have also defeated the Nameless Puppet boss (See The First Puppet for more information) which will then unlock the Rise of P ending (refer to Rise of P).

Once the credits have rolled, refuse to go into NG+, instead, go up to Geppetto’s quarters and collect the note from his desk which will unlock The Story of the Blue Butterfly. You can then go to the piano next to where you first met Lady Antonia on the ground floor where you will then be able to play a perfect tune unlock Pianist of Krat in the process.

Lies Of P Legion Arm Collector trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

Legion Arm Collector
Collect all Legion Arms.

There are 8 Legion Arms to collect in total, 2 of which you gain automatically, 2 more become craftable once you have defeated specific bosses with the remaining 4 Legion Arms becoming craftable once you have acquired each of the 4 Legion Plugs found throughout the game.

Legion Arms can turn the tide of battle and with each one having their own use they should not be over-looked. I have, several times, struggled with a boss then simply by changing the Legion Arm I had equipped it made the fight a lot more manageable.

You can change the Legion Arm you have equipped once you are done at Venigni’s Factory by heading to Hotel Krat, working through the initial dialogue with Venigni then going to the machine on his left. Interact with the machine then choose Switch Legion Arm. Your current arm will be displayed, if you then interact with your equipped Legion Arm it will bring up the menu allowing you to change your Legion Arm to any other you have acquired.

Refer to the Legion Arm Collector trophy guide for the location of every Legion Arm to be found in Lies of P then with all of them crafter you will unlock Legion Arm Collector.

Lies Of P Special Weapon Collector trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

Special Weapon Collector
Collect all special weapons.

There are 11 Special Weapons to be found in Lies Of P with 9 of them being tradable once you have a given piece of rare Ergo you get from defeating story bosses so ensure you never consume the rare Ergo regardless of how close you are to levelling up. 2 of the special weapons will be available depending on the choices you make at the end of the game but given the fact you need to complete at least 2 playthroughs you will easily be able to get this done.

Refer to the Special Weapon Collector trophy guide for the locations and Ergo required to obtain every special weapon in Lies of P, then, with every Special Weapon collected you will then unlock Special Weapon Collector.

Lies Of P Normal Weapon Collector trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

Normal Weapon Collector
Collect all normal weapons.

There are 29 normal weapons situated throughout the City of Krat. 3 are available from the start of the game with the remaining 26 being either purchasable or found in chests throughout the game more often than not in remote locations.

Refer to the Normal Weapon Collector trophy guide for a detailed list of where to find every normal weapon in Lies of P where once you have them all you will unlock Normal Weapon Collector.

Lies Of P Golden Melody trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

Golden Melody
Collect and play all records.

You will need to find a total of 16 records in Lies of P across your 2 playthroughs. On your first plythorugh I recommend lying your way through it where certain records will become available. You can then, on your second playthrough tell the truth to be able to collect the remaining records.

As for the record player you can find a gramophone to the left of the Concierge desk in Hotel Krat so interact with the gramophone when you have a new record, play however much you would like to listen to before moving to the next record until you have played them all.

Refer to the Golden Melody trophy guide for a look at how to find all 16 records in Lies of P which will unlock Golden Melody near the end of New Game+ once you have them all.

Lies Of P Learning about Emotions trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

Learning about Emotions
Learn all gestures.

There are 17 gestures you need to acquire throughout Lies of P, several of which are obtained through the main story with the remaining ones needing to be found in and around the City of Krat.

Refer to the Learning about Emotions trophy guide for the exact locations of every gesture you can obtain in Lies of P which you can unlock after giving Sophia peace in Chapter 11. Obtaining them all will unlock Learning about Emotions.

Lies Of P Veteran Explorer trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

Veteran Explorer
Decipher all cryptic vessels and claim the rewards.

In total you will need to find 6 cryptic vessels in Lies of P all of which are tied to a particular event or biome then in order to decipher a vessel you need to take it Venigni in Hotel Krat where he will then decode the vessel granting you a reward for your efforts.

Refer to the Veteran Explorer trophy guide for everything you need to find, decode and be compensated for your efforts throughout Lies of P.

Lies Of P End of Riddles trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

30 G

End of Riddles
Discover all Trinity Sanctums.

Trinity Sanctums are specific locations which can only be acquired with Trinity Keys. There are 5 sanctums in total and to acquire a key you need to solve a riddle presented by Arlecchino. The riddles aren’t overly difficult to figure out as long as you have been paying attention through the story and they can hold some nice rewards.

Refer to the End of Riddles trophy guide for the exact payphone then sanctum location for each Trinity Key as well as the rewards you can receive once you have access to the Sanctums.

Lies Of P First Lie trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

First Lie
Tell a lie in front of Hotel Krat Entrance.

Story related.
In order to enter Hotel Krat after dealing with the Parade Master you will need to lie to gain access which is done by choosing the Human option when prompted to make a choice. Choosing “Human” will gain you access to Hotel Krat as well as unlock First Lie.

Lies Of P Stargazer’s Guide trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Stargazer’s Guide
Repair a Stargazer.

Story related.
Stargazer’s play a key role in Lies of P, you can repair the first one in Krat Central Station Plaza once you’re out of the station at the start of the game to unlock Stargazer’s Guide.

Lies Of P Exploring Possibilities trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Exploring Possibilities
Try to assemble a weapon.

Weapons can be assembled after you have defeated the King’s Flame Fuoco boss and have spoken to Venigni. You can then go to the Stargazer and choose Assemble.

However, I strongly recommend doing so after you have unlocked Normal Weapon Collector as assembling a weapon will require you to break down 2 separate normal weapons as you need the blade from 1 and a handle for the other.

You won’t be able to unlock Normal Weapon Collector until after you have defeated Laxasia the Complete having spoken to Test Subject 826 first. When you are ready, choose assemble from the Stargazer and choose any weak weapon you don’t use like the Krat Police Baton and another weapon such as the Bramble Curved Sword or any combination of blade and handle as long as you are aware you will lose the weapons in the process.

Once you have successfully assembled a weapon you will then unlock Exploring Possibilities.

Lies Of P The Ultimate Defense Technique trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

The Ultimate Defense Technique
Destroy an enemy’s weapon with a perfect guard.

You will more than likely get this as you become more proficient with combat through the game. You need to block a split second before an enemy’s attack hits you which will then cause their weapon to bounce off and glow red and in some cases their weapon will break.

The heavier your weapon is the more likely you are to break an opponents weapon. You can get some heavy duty fairly early in game such as the Wrench from Venigni’s Workshop. It might take a good few attempts to be successful but keep practicing and once you break an opponents weapon with a perfect guard you will then unlock The Ultimate Defense Technique.

Lies Of P Fatal Blow trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Fatal Blow
Deliver a successful Fatal Attack.

Fatal Blows are performed against any opponent who is either unaware of your presence or if you have managed to stagger an enemy. You will see a slash symbol appear on a given target which enables you to press R1 to perform a fatal blow.

You are taught this in the opening section of the game in Krat Station so walk slowly then perform a Fatal Blow to unlock Fatal Blow.

Lies Of P The Bastards and the Sweepers trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

The Bastards and the Sweepers
Kill a Stalker.

Glitched.
Story related.
To unlock the, The Bastards and the Sweepers you need to kill a Stalker, the first Stalker you will encounter is The Mad Donkey on the bridge from the Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard Stargazer. However, you need to be careful how you kill him as the Donkey isn’t the most astute fighter and he can easily give his back to you enabling you to perform a fatal blow.

If you perform a fatal blow which kills him then the cut-scene will begin before the Donkey is officially dead which then locks you out of the trophy until new game plus so ensure you kill the Mad Donkey boss with regular attacks, nothing with a cinematic action.

Update: I played the game on a new account, killed the Mad Donkey with a Fatal and it did unlock the achievement so I can confirm it’s a glitch meaning it will be best if you don’t kill the Donkey with a Fatal Blow just to avoid the issue.

Lies Of P Parade Master trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Parade Master
Kill the Parade Master.

Story related.
The Parade Master is the first boss you will fight in the game and he is a heavy challenge to defeat especially considering there is a level cap of 20 in the tutorial area so if you’re struggling get to Level 20 focusing on Vigor and technique mainly. Focus on dodging and avoiding the attacks for the most part as your starting weapon won’t be strong enough to block the damage from the Parade Master so evasion is key to success here.

When the big guy is down to about 60% health he will slam the cage down and rip one of the arms off his back which he then uses as a mace to smash and charge into you with dealing considerable damage in the process. Avoid the red attacks and only go for a charged heavy when you have an opening other than that, chip away at him until you eventually take the win which will unlock Parade Master.

Refer to the Parade Master boss guide for everything you need to defeat the Parade Master.

Lies Of P Scrapped Watchman trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Scrapped Watchman
Kill the Scrapped Watchman.

Story related.
The Scrapped Watchman can be found at the back of the Krat City Hall biome and is a hulking Mech style enemy who will attack you win slams, swipes and wind up punches all of which are designed to break your guard then punish you as you recover so agility will be an ally here as will summoning a Spectre if you’re struggling to bring the big guy down.

Avoid the charged attacks when the Watchman glows red at all costs by dodging backwards then walk back to him to ensure you have some stamina available to attack. In the second phase of the fight he will jump around and release lightning blasts which build up electric shock status so avoid them as best as you can. Use throwables and only use Pulse Cells when you’re below half health until you bring the oversized spark down unlocking Scrapped Watchman in the process.

Refer to the Scrapped Watchman boss guide if you need anything else for how to bring this oversized robot down.

Lies Of P King's Flame trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

King’s Flame
Kill King’s Flame, Fuoco.

Story related.
The King’s Flame, Fuoco is a boss at the back of the Venigni factory and the closest Stargazer is the Venigni Works Control Room so rest up before going down the staircase as you will need all of the help you can get here including summoning the Spectre as Fuoco can be a challenge.

Ensure you aren’t caught up in the spinning attacks and dash away when the floor gets hot before your health disappears. Watch out for the fireballs and the charged stampedes, get behind Fuoco and punish until it’s down.

Refer to the King’s Flame, Fuoco boss guide if you need anything else to bring this rolling furnace down.

Lies Of P Fallen Archbishop trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Fallen Archbishop
Kill the Fallen Archbishop Andreus.

Story related.
Archbishop Andreus can be found at the back of the formidable St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel and if you’re not a fan of Spider’s this is a fight you won’t enjoy as Andreus is a Spider-esque being larger than an articulated lorry and about the same amount of power. The hardest thing about this fight though is the fact it’s a 2 phase fight. You need to destroy the bug where Andreus will then be revealed giving you a new boss to take down whilst having no chance of respite in between.

Conserve your resources through the first phase which is key to being able to handle the second phase where Andreus flies around on a tentacle smashing into you so avoid lock on otherwise your attacks will simply miss as he’s just to high and fast to be hit. Aim for the main body instead and punish when you can until you kill the Holier than though boss unlocking Fallen Archbishop when you do so.

Refer to the Fallen Archbishop Andreus boss guide for a look at what you can expect to face in the depths of the Cathedral.

Lies Of P The Delayed Match trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

The Delayed Match
Kill the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood.

Story related.
The Black Rabbit Brotherhood can be found at the back of the Malum District, an incredibly challenging area with many abominations lurking around. Fight your way through to the Lobster bar then, once the enemies have been dealt with, stay on the ground floor and go through to the back room to find a door you can open which takes you back to the Stargazer at the beginning of the biome.

If you can sprint pass the majority of the enemies and get to the doorway you can save yourself a lot of hassle. Use the summon portal to the left of the boss gate then go through once you’re ready for a very challenging fight.

The Black Rabbit Brotherhood is a tough fight as you have the eldest Brother who is the main boss then, throughout the fight the other members of the Brotherhood will jump down to join the fight so having a summon is very handy here to draw their fire. If you have the Fulminis equipped you can use that to quickly build up stagger on the boss then get in with a charged followed by a Fatal Attack.

Dealing with the smaller enemies can help but it’s not essential as once the big guy is down the fight will end regardless which will unlock The Delayed Match.

Refer to the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss guide for a look at what to expect at the back of the Malum District.

Lies Of P King of Puppets trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

King of Puppets
Kill Romeo, King of Puppets.

Story related.
You will meet Romeo, King of Puppets in the back area of the Estella Opera House Stage biome in Chapter 6. Ensure you open the shortcut before crossing the beam with the swinging flaming chandelier as you will more than likely die a good few times to Romeo who will only appear once the first phase has been dealt with.

The first phase in this instance being an incredibly powerful oversized mech with good reach, high speed, incredibly good defence and a high stagger threshold with low critical windows which only adds to the difficulty. You need to be very efficient in taking down the Mech as Romeo is a next level boss for the mid game.

Romeo is essentially a whirlwind with a heavy stomp and a Scythe which can cleave through any armour you will have found to this point with ease so it’s almost essential you go in slightly heavy or lighter to ensure you have the agility to get out of the way of his attacks especially the charged stomp as this can stagger through your block leaving you open for a run ending combo.

Parry if you have the skill and weaponry available, make good use of your throwable offensive items as well as dodging attacks to help conserve your Pulse Cells until you manage to bring Romeo down which will unlock King of Puppets.

Refer to the Romeo, King of Puppets boss guide to help you take down this powerful 2 phase boss.

Lies Of P The Champion of Evolution trophy

The Champion of Evolution
Kill Champion Victor.

Story related.
Champion Victor can be fought in the back room of the Grand Exhibition Gallery which is a very tough biome in Chapter 7. Work through the area, kick the ladder down at the end before going through to the boss Arena as if you die you just need to run pass 2 Sword wielding puppets rather than traversing around the entire area again.

Equip your best gear then head inside where you will have a 2 phase fight against an over-muscled champion who is tougher than he looks and he hits even harder especially if you get to close as you will be thrown away with health shredding force. Make good use of the Spectre and throwable items as well as your charged weapon attacks to cause stagger before getting for a critical.

During the second phase you will have a much tougher opponent to deal with with significantly increased range so dodge early before countering, use fire abrasives and Thermite to inflict heavier damage then its a case of whittling Victor’s health down until you defeat him which will unlock The Champion of Evolution.

Refer to the Champion Victor boss guide to help you bring down this hulking Titan.

Lies Of P Puppet-Devouring Green Monster trophy

Puppet-Devouring Green Monster
Kill the Puppet-Devouring Green Monster.

Story related.
The Puppet-Devouring Green Monster is a formidable opponent and far tougher than anything you will have encountered up to this point in the game. Keep playing through until you get to the Barren Swamp Bridge Stargazer in Chapter 8. Ensure you equip Thermite and Fire Abrasives then summon a Spectre if you want to make the fight easier before going through to the Arena.

The initial section of the fight is tough with the Monster slamming Swiping and Slashing at you, however, it is nothing compared the second phase of the fight where the Puppet-Devourer assumes its true form and becomes a very fast steamroller who can close distance very quickly and its slams can shred chunks from your health bar.

The chances of you coming out victorious in this fight will all be determined with how efficiently you deal with the first phase as the fight doesn’t have checkpoints meaning if you die then you restart the entire encounter again so conserve your Pulse Cells as best as you can opting to only heal when essential. Make good use of ranged weaponry if you have any such as Sharp Pipes, Shot-Puts and Fire Canisters then get in there once the Monster is done charging around before backing off again to avoid the next flurry of attacks.

Lay this oversized blob turned machine to rest to unlock Puppet-Devouring Green Monster.

Refer to the Puppet-Devouring Green Monster boss guide to help you bring down this Decay spewing monstrosity.

Lies Of P Corrupted Parade Master trophy

Corrupted Parade Master
Kill the Corrupted Parade Master.

Story related.
The Corrupted Parade Master is a very tough fight and is accessible back where you met the original Parade Master at the start of the game except this time he is a severely challenging foe if you don’t go in appropriately geared. Work through Chapter 9 to the Krat Central Station Street Stargazer then ensure you are geared out before heading into the Corrupted Parade Master’s arena.

Gear wise I strongly recommend equipping Thermite and Fire Abrasives and any other type of fire based offense as the Corrupted Parade Master is made of Decay he is therefore incredibly weak to Fire so capitalise on this whilst avoid the weapon swings and body slams all of which are heavily cranked up from the first encounter in the tutorial.

The Corrupted Parade Master will send an AO of decay forward which can hurt you a fair bit as well as vomit out smaller targets for you to deal with but as long as your weapon has fire on it they should die in 1 or 2 hits. Keep applying pressure whilst avoiding the slams and staying behind the big guy until you defeat him which will then unlock Corrupted Parade Master.

Refer to the Corrupted Parade Master boss guide to help you burn this Decay fuelled monstrosity from the Hotel Krat entrance.

Lies Of P Revenge of Black trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Revenge of Black
Kill the Black Rabbit Brotherhood.

Story related.
The Black Rabbit Brotherhood can be fought in Chapter 10, Relic of Trismegistus Entrance and they are the toughest enemies you will have come across to this point. Summoning is near enough essential unless you’re highly skilled or have poured hours into levelling up as without a summon you will be straight into a powerful 3 on 1 fight with each of the 3 having their own elements, Fire, Decay and Electric.

Once you have killed 2 of the 3, the Eldest will respawn and this guy is next level. He will smash you around with his blade, close distance in a flash and hit incredibly hard regardless of the gear you go in with. Stamina preservation will be the key to success as will the Acid element due to Humans being weak to it in game.

Bring down all 4 member of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood to unlock Revenge of Black.

Refer to the Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss guide for how to bring this quartet of assassins down.

Lies Of P The Complete One trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

The Complete One
Kill Laxasia the Complete.

Story related.
Laxasia the Complete is found in the 2nd half of Chapter 11 and she is the toughest boss in the game especially in her 2nd phase where she essentially becomes a lightning God. Use fire and your best attacks to wreck her health bar whilst staying away from the stormy attacks.

Use a Spectre to give yourself a better chance then power through to the victory where you will then unlock The Complete One.

Refer to the Laxasia the Complete boss guide to help you bring this storm powered phenom down.

Ensure you don’t go through to the room at the end of the bridge until you have checked the Lies of P Story Progression Essentials post in Chapter 11 otherwise you can break the game and need a new playthrough.

Lies Of P The Awakened God trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

The Awakened God
Kill the Awakened God Simon Manus.

Story related.
Simon Manus is the final boss in the game if you want him to be. You can roll the credits and have no more fights after you bring him down by accepting to give Geppetto your heart in the Under the Abyss biome. If you refuse then you will face the Nameless Puppet making Simon Manus the penultimate boss.

The Simon Manus, Awakened God boss fight can be a tough one mainly due to the 2nd phase’s ability to inflict Disruption in high doses and if that meter fills, you’re dead instantly.

Avoid the Mace attacks and get in close to deal heavy damage. Avoid the jumping attacks and as always, being efficient in the first phase will make you more successful in the 2nd phase.

Stay away from the electrical blasts and jumping attacks then punish until you bring this wannabe God down where you will then unlock The Awakened God.

Refer to the Simon Manus, Awakened God boss guide to see how best to deal with this Man turned Monster.

Harvest Gold Coin Fruit.

Story related.
Gold Coin Fruit is a very useful currency in Lies of P as it allows you to purchase different abilities for your Wishstone, an incredibly useful equippable item which can easily turn the tide of battle in the right circumstances mostly centred around Spectres who you can summon in for most boss fights to give you an advantage.

Work through the Malum District then take out the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss which gives you access to their hideout where you can find a lift leading up to Giangio, an enigmatic NPC who is looking for Gold Coin Fruit. Go out of the door to the left of Giangio to come to the Gold Coin Fruit tree where you can harvest Gold Coin Fruit unlocking Bear Gold Coin Fruit.

Dimensional Butterflies will appear at certain parts of the game as you progress through the story, there are 3 different types of Dimensional butterflies in game which are Red, Purple and Gold. The red and purple butterflies are easy, however, the gold ones can release a nova which causes minor damage but if you’re low on health it can kill you so heal before engaging.

A good place to go after the butterflies is in the Barren Swamp. Proceed through the lower level of the swamp before the ravine section where you will find all 3 types of butterflies spawning. Kill all 3 types of dimensional butterflies to unlock From Across the Rift.

The Story of a Stranger Girl
Find out about the last story of Eugénie.

Highly Missable!.
You will be able to unlock The Story of a Stranger Girl on your second playthrough. Work through your first playthrough ensuring you speak to Eugenie at every opportunity (when her Avatar is next to the Fast Travel option for Hotel Krat).

Refer to the Lies of P Story Progression Essentials guide so you don’t miss anything.

Then, on playthrough 2 work through as you did previously ensuring you again speak to Eugenie with the most important part coming in Chapter 8 where Eugenie will give you the Four-Fingered Glove you need to give to Alidoro in the Chapter 8, Barren Swamp Entrance biome having previously spoken to Alidoro in Chapter 4 at the top of the elevator near the antlered Elite.

Alidoro will scoff at the glove where you can then, on your second playthrough speak to Eugenie and answer with the truth which is the “He was angry, he said the gloves were rubbish” dialogue option.

You can then go through the game and defeat the Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss in Chapter 10, where you can then go up the slope and speak to Alidoro whose dialogue you need to exhaust which enables you to attack and kill Alidoro.

This will give you Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel which you can take to Venigni ensuring you DON’T speak to Eugenie before hand. Have Venigni decipher Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel then read Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel Decryption to the final page.

You can then go and speak with Eugenie where you can answer her on your truth playthrough with the “He was Eugenie’s Older Brother” dialogue option which will not only gift you the Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1 Record (refer to Golden Melody) as well as The Story of the Stranger Girl.
