Lords Of The Fallen Boss Hub

Here is the Lords of the Fallen Boss Hub which will help you find and ultimately take down every boss in Lords of the Fallen of which there are 22 mandatory ones and 14 optional bosses giving you a lot to do and the bosses in this game come in all shapes, sizes and can inflict some serious pain and frustration utilises status effects, sheer power and on some occasions dirty tactics in their attempts to halt your progress through the games many areas.

Holy Bulwark Otto

Location: Abandoned Redcopse, Vestige of Ranik.
You will meet the Holy Bulwark Otto boss after you have rested at the first Vestige in the game, the Vestine of Ranik and it is essentially a Knight who hits hard and also has a grab you should avoid.

Pieta, She Of Blessed Renewal

Location: Abandoned Redcopse, Vestige of Marco the Axe.
Proceed through the Abandoned Redcopse region then speak with the NPC after dropping down who gives you a Vestige Seed, use it then climb the ladder and go left to enter the boss arena. Pieta is the first real challenge you will face in the game and one who utilises Radiance and clones to great effect. Stay out of the path of the clones and Pieta as they fill thirds of the arena with falling swords. Pieta has a grab that can take half your health off as well as long sweeping sword attacks that can combo into a slam.

Scourged Sister Delyth

Location: Pilgrim’s Perch, Vestige of Chabui.
Work through the biome crossing the beam then dropping down the ladders. Go out into the arena to engage the Scourged Sister Delyth boss who attacks with a Flail which then starts hitting with Radiance which chain through fast combos. Get behind her and punish using the arena’s length to your advantage if you need to run back and heal.

Gentle Gaverus, Mistress Of Hounds

Location: Pilgrim’s Perch, Vestige of Blind Agatha.
Make your way down through the Pilgrim’s Perch region entering Umbral at the end to Soulflay the 3 targets and open the gate leading down. Free Gerlinde from her cell then activate the elevator which takes you straight back up to the Vestige of Blind Agatha creating a perfect shortcut. Rest then go back down and descend into the depths of the biome using the next elevator. Speak with Rosamund if she’s there and go through to the arena to engage Gentle Gaverus who is anything but gentle. She will attack you with a bow and arrow as well as summoning her Wolves to disrupt your attacks and healing. Use Fire if you’re struggling then strafe to avoid the arrows. Put the Wolves down as a priority then focus on Gaverus until you come away with the win. Ensure you go back and heal if you need to as the next boss is just around the corner.

The Congregator Of Flesh

Location: Forsaken Fen, Vestige of Blind Agatha.
Once Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of Hounds has been defeated, go back and rest at the Vestige then head through the corridor from Gaverus’ arena and drop down into the pit which will awaken the Congregator of Flesh, an abomination who slams and swipes at you which are very difficult attacks to avoid given this things size and impressively long range. Fire is very effective so use it to your advantage, stay away from that arm and be aggressive to increase your chances. The Congregator is big, powerful but fairly slow as a compensatory factor so the faster you can attack the more chance you have of doing increased damage until you purge this creature.

Mendacious Visage

Location: Forsaken Fen, Vestige of Valade.
Phase into Umbral then go up and across the wooden trunk where the Shuja Warrior is standing and go left opening the door back to the Vestige. In Umbral you will be able to climb a ladder on your right as you’re facing the door so do so then follow the path up staying left, soul-flay the spirit then go through to the Mendacious Visage’s arena. This this is a pain to deal with as it is only weak from the front when it opens its face so your best bet would be to flank around to the back then inflict as much damage as possible before you get batted away. Avoid the ranged attacks using the environment for cover remembering there are 2 levels in the arena so use them to your advantage dropping down or jumping over the boss to allow you to get behind and punish.

Hushed Saint

Location: Forsaken Fen, Vestige of Valade.
The Hushed Saint is the first Colossal boss you will encounter and it is a tough opponent so use the Beckonings if needs be and ensure you use a Vestige Seed in the cut-out to your right just before going through into the arena. The Hushed Saint is a mounted boss who will use its Horse to great effect in an attempt to smash your health bar away. It will also utilise strong combos and have a nasty AOE that can cover a large section of the arena you will need to sprint away from or roll through depending on how close you are to the Saint when it triggers. Ranged players will have a much easier time of it in this fight as trading blows with the Saint won’t end well for you. Be cautious when it bangs the shield as the Horse will come from below then continue inflicting damage until you come away with the win.

Crimson Rector Percival

Location: Fitzroy’s Gorge, Vestige of the Pale Butcher.
Work your way through the Hamlet then kick the plank down to create a shortcut, phase through the gate with the Lamp then follow the path forward and up to the left taking out the enemies carefully as you are going to need all of your healing when you get to Crimson Rector Percival’s boss arena as this Radiance imbued Knight can slam you back to the Vestige very quickly. You will have Knight summons to avoid, powerful, long range sweeping attacks with his sword, slams and a good chance you will die sending you into the Umbral realm. In the Umbral realm you can then pop the parasites which causes Percival to stagger back creating small windows of opportunity to either rush him or heal. Either way, overcome the challenge and put this optional boss down.

Ruiner

Location: Fitzroy’s Gorge, Vestige of the Pale Butcher.
Ruiner is a tough opponent you will face on a narrow bridge and he implements heavy attacks with the axe, has high defence with the shield and can fill the arena with fire as well as utilising long range explosions that can track you with ease. Avoid the combinations, get behind and punish or if you are using a magic build create as much distance as you can. Alternatively, get the biggest weapon you can, get him up against one of the breaks in the side wall and smash him off the bridge.

Infernal Enchantress

Location: Lower Calrath, Vestige of Sebastian.
The Infernal Enchantress is a boss who will teach you the importance of ranged attacks as melee builds won’t last long here due to the massive fire shield the Enchantress has around her. Bring ranged Radiance or Umbral magic or equip a bow along with ammunition pouches and or mana-stone clusters to replenish your supplies then stay away from her whilst avoiding the fire orbs, mines and surges. Use your own attacks when she takes a break from attacking then keep healing, replenishing, dodging and attacking until you bring this pain in the ass down.

Spurned Progeny

Location: Lower Calrath, Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch.
Before you get to the Spurned Progeny boss arena ensure you are well equipped with range weaponry which makes this fight a lot easier to handle. Melee weapons at the start will help a lot as you hack away at the legs of the Progeny then as soon as the boss fills the arena floor with lava, run up one of the staircases then ready your offensive ranged attacks. Use the broken sections of wall to hide behind when the boss hits you with ranged attacks especially the nova and strafe when the fire spouts appear. Continue your assault until you manage to take the win.

The Sacred Resonance Of Tenacity

Location: Pilgrim’s Perch, Vestige of Blind Agatha.
Once you have taken down the Spurned Progeny you should be strong enough to handle the next area of the game which is tough and requires the Pilgrim’s Perch Key which you can purchase from Stomund for 18,000 Vigor which you need to before defeating the Progeny so get it early and keep it available or buy it much later after clearing the Tower of Penance where you will meet Stomund again in the gardens through the gate. Either way, rest at the Vestige of Blind Agatha in Pilgrim’s Perch then open the door to your left with the key and phase into Umbral.

Follow the path left and work through the gantries and caverns to the Knight then before going up the stairs go left to find the optional Sacred Resonance of Tenacity. As soon as the fight starts go into the central building, dispel the parasite then take out the Pilgrims jumping out the back window if the boss comes after you. You will need to roll through the shockwave after he hits the bell on his head then inflict as much damage as possible before running away from the combo attacks. Get back in there until he’s down. Can be a tough fight if not managed correctly.

Kinrangr Guardian Folard

Location: Abandoned Redcopse, Vestige of Marco the Axe.
Once you have the Fief key, return to the Vestige of Marco the Axe, go through in Umbral then return to Axiom as you do not want to fight this boss in Umbral as there will be a Mendacious Visage to deal with as well. Take out the Wolf as a priority then quickly destroy the Parasite then take Kinrangr on whilst standing on the slope as you have greatly reduced mobility in water. Use fire and and heavy attacks whilst blocking the bosses with a shield or if using range stay away from him as much as possible as the attacks can build up frost and strip chunks from your health bar. If you do go into Umbral get ready to lose quickly or stay mobile enough to avoid the Visage’s attacks.

Skinstealer

Location: Sunless Skein, Vestige of Catrin.
Work your way through the tunnels to the edge of the lake then go right up to the tunnel where the SkinStealer will drop down. Bring a shield with you to make the fight infinitely easier as each successful shield block will stun the boss allowing you to get some free hits in. As you can see in the Short below I just blocked hit, blocked hit and he was down.

Bringer Of Stillness, Nullify And Silence

Location: Sunless Skein, Vestige of Catrin.
Deal with the SkinStealer boss first then go back down the steps and into Umbral where you can platform across to the arena where you will drop down and face off against 3 Wraiths. As this is an optional fight you can come back later and take these guys down but whichever way you do it you will need to work quickly as if they surround you as you’re already in Umbral you won’t last long. Focus on 1 Wraith at a time unless it goes underground then move to the next Wraith with the lowest health bar as once they’re dead they won’t respawn thankfully.

Harrower Dervla, The Pledged Knight

Location: Revelation Depths, Vestige of Lost Berescu.
Revelation Depths is an optional area you can access by firstly defeating the SkinStealer who drops the Drainage Control Key, take the Key back down the stairs to the sewers, take the left path and climb the ladder then open the gate an pull the lever. This will cause the water to drain and the cages will firm a path you can take down to the Depths you can work through to the arena where the Harrower Dervla boss can be found. Dervla is an underrated boss and one who hits hard as well as having some impressively diverse attacks making her feel like a boss who should be found a lot later in the game. Be careful here though as once Dervla is dead you will go straight in to the fight against the Unbroken Promise with no chance of resting in between.

The Unbroken Promise

Location: Revelation Depths, Vestige of Lost Berescu.
Once Harrower Dervla is down you will get a cut scene then be straight in a fight against the powerful Unbroken Promise who will use a lot of magic attacks to finish you off after the beating you received from Dervla. Use ranged attacks if you have them or Spells to stay away from the boss as the shockwaves can prevent you from getting close and certainly from getting any sort of melee combo going.

Griefbound Rowena

Location: Fief of the Chill Curse, Vestige of Svornil.
Make your way down up and around the battlements then head down the path to the ladder. Follow the path to the bridge that leads off to the right then before crossing it go into the broken down Church on your left where Griefbound Rowena will awaken. Get ready to deal with some hard hitting Frost attacks that can linger, avoid the spikes and put her down as fast as you can whilst dealing with the mobs. The longer Rowena’s alive the less chance you will be as once Frostbite hits your Stamina is halved and you take increased damage.

The Hollow Crow

Location: Fief of the Chill Curse, Vestige of Loash.
The Hollow Crow boss is an exceptionally tough one if you allow yourself to get caught out in the attacks which do a very good job of tracking you. You will need to attack the Maiden as she appears with your hardest hitting attacks then parry her once her health is reduced to 1 as she won’t die until you take her out 3 times in a row. Take out the Mobs as they appear but always keep focus on the Maiden as once she’s down the Mobs will evaporate for a bit. At the end of the fight avoid the rest of the ice attacks then carefully navigate to and stab the Crow in the face to finish this fight.

Abiding Defenders

Location: Manse of the Hallowed Brothers, Vestige of Brother Jeremiah.
Work your way up to the Manse then go through the region to the outdoor section where you open the 2 gates with the Hounds, Knight and Sin-Piercer enemies. Go through the gardens then up the back stairs taking a right along the walkway to the Abiding Defenders boss who will attack you in tandem. Focus on bringing one of them down then quickly take down the other as if you wait to long you the Defender will revive the other downed Defender. Avoid the Radiance attacks most of which track you whilst using your own Spells and melee attacks to bring the Defenders down.

Blessed Carrion Knight Sanisho

Location: Tower of Penance, Vestige of Brother Jeremiah.
Collect the Abbot Vernoff’s Key then before opening the doors which lead through to the Tower of Penance and the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters smash through the wooden barricade and open the gate leading you back to the Vestige of Brother Jeremiah which will be handy as Sanisho is a very powerful poison based boss who resurrects as many times as he sees fit until he finally gives up. Sanisho attacks with a spear and arena filling poison fog that will build up poison very quickly. Counter this by using powerful spells which allow you to keep your distance from his melee attacks.

Tancred, Master Of Cantigations

Location: Tower of Penance, Vestige of Brother Jeremiah.
Head up to the top of the Tower then make your way down through each floor to the lowest level and head down the passage to the arena where you will face off against Tancred who will attack you with hard hitting melee attacks and health shattering Spells. Stay agile throughout the fight and conserve your resources as you will be straight into the fight against Reinhold once Tancred is down.

Reinhold The Immured

Location: Tower of Penance, Vestige of Brother Jeremiah.
As soon as you have defeated Tancred you will get a short cutscene then be thrust straight into another boss fight this time facing off against Reinhold a very powerful boss who loves to use fire based AOE attacks as well as move around in a very sporadic manner making it hard to tell where he’s going to slam the next series of hits down. One saving grace seems to be the he does have extraordinarily low stamina so go in with a heavy weapon like a Grand Sword or Grand Hammer and you will be able to land at least 1 critical hit which can take a quarter of his health bar off. Ranged players will have an easier time of things here than melee but this fight’s difficulty will all be determined by how well you did against Tancred, if you took a beaten and can’t heal anymore then good luck. If you were efficient in taking down Tancred, Reinhold will fall a lot easier.

Abbess Ursula

Location: Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters, Vestige of Brother Jeremiah.
You will face Abbess Ursula before you get to the Vestige in the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters and she can be a very tough enemy as she utilises a few attacks you won’t have encountered at this point including a nasty beam of Radiance you will soon come to hate once you make your way through the Abbey which can be negated by using the central column for cover. Another particular nasty attack non ranged players will encounter is a series of Radiant Thorns she will summon at her fit that will affect you health similar to dropping off a cliff, it can absolutely shred you so avoid that. Spells, especially Umbral Spells are a good call here but don’t be surprised if she smacks you done a couple of times before you take the win.

Rapturous Huntress Lirenne

Location: Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters, Vestige of Rosamund.
Work through the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters then use a Vestige Seed on the Flowerbed before going through and collecting the Rune of Adyr where you will then be ambushed by Rapturous Huntress Lirenne, an incredibly powerful shielded warrior who can box you in with Radiant cages, use ranged attacks, have health crushing melee combos and all in all be a pain to deal with. Given her speed most Spells won’t touch her so melee is probably the way to go especially if you bring a decent shield as her attacks can bounce off allowing you to get 1 or 2 hits in. This is another one of those fights where it’s so sporadic you will need to learn through trial and error until you manage to bring her down. This is one of those skill check bosses where you have to prove you’re good enough.

Paladin's Burden

Location: Pilgrim’s Perch, Vestige of Dieter.
You will be able to face off against the Paladin’s Burden boss as part of Paladin Isaac’s questline so refer to the Vengeful Reflection guide for how to access him then get ready for hard hitting melee attacks which can be deadly as you are already in Umbral so you lose the protection of Axiom. Bring a shield to negate the majority of his attacks and have other forms of healing such as Healing Radiance as in Umbral healing is tough, against the Paladin’s Burden, he hits harder than you can heal so you’ll always be in a deficit.

Judge Cleric, The Radiant Sentinel

Location: The Empyrean, Vestige of Iorelo the Cursed Knight.
The Judge Cleric will be another double boss fight you can find at the back of the Empyrean, one of my least favourite areas you have to get through a series of bosses turned enemies just to get to the damn boss and if you take a beating against them then the fight can be near impossible to finish especially the second round so once you have the Cathedral doors open, rest back at the Vestige then just sprint through to the arena avoided those Abbess enemies like the plague. The first phase will see you needed to avoid powerful thrusts and arrow volleys which have a large AOE then the second phase focuses a lot more on powerful magic with melee attacks coming in hard as you try and heal. You’ll have small windows of opportunity in which to heal so take them when you can then get in and be as aggressive as you can until they’re both dead.

The Lightreaper

Location: Upper Calrath, Vestige of Ethryg.
The Lightreaper is a funny old boss as it will attack you twice throughout the game (with the latest patches) both of which you are able to kill him but if you do so it will lock you out of both Paladin Isaac and Kukajin’s questlines both of which you need to on separate playthroughs so lose to the Lightreaper in Fitzroy’s Gorge and again in the Fief of the Chill Curse. Refer to both the Vengeful Reflection guide and the A Trace of Venom guide if you need help with their questlines. The Lightreaper will use a lot of fire and melee attacks as well as fire based AOE so keep on the move and roll frequently to put the flames out. Umbral Spells work well as will a shield and don’t forget to Beckon an NPC in if you are struggling, the help is there so there’s no point suffering more than you have to.

The Iron Wayfarer

Location: Upper Calrath, Vestige of the Forgotten Guardian.
The Iron Wayfarer will block your path to Bramis Castle and this dude really doesn’t want you in there and he hits like a truck with every attack whether its with his hammer or by crushing your health bar with very strong Umbral attacks. The Iron Wayfarer is tougher than the final boss, he’s that level of hardcore so don’t be shocked if he puts you down in seconds. Even through you have fought through an Army of bosses to get to this point this is where you may need to go off and spend some time levelling and improving your character then come back where you might just stand a chance against him.

Damarose The Marked

Location: Bramis Castle, Vestige of the Forgotten Guardian.
Depending on the ending you are going for you might find Damarose in the wooden room of Bramis Castle or there might be an Infernal Enchantress and 2 Hounds. You will need to have cleansed the Beacons to spawn Damarose who will come at you in full Pyromancer mode so any form of fire defence will be useful here.

The Sundered Monarch

Location: Bramis Castle, Vestige of the Bloody Pilgrim.
The Sundered Monarch is a boss who you can fight at the back of Bramis Castle and he is powerful but manageable as long as you either bring a shield or are proficient at dodging. He will swing the statue head around whilst using spikes out of his arm to prevent you getting to close. You will deal with spears and hard hitting ranged attacks if you try and keep your distance, he also has a very powerful double AOE attack designed to catch you out as you attempt to heal from the first blast he can easily kill you with the second so stay back when he charges up the nova.

Adyr, The Bereft Exile

Location: Bramis Castle, Vestige of the Bloody Pilgrim.
You will fight Adyr providing you are going for the Radiance ending, well, I say you’ll fight Adyr, what you’ll actually be fighting is a series of flame throwing enemies whilst Adyr reels off a speech in what is up there as one of the most disappointing “final bosses” I have ever encountered. Run around the arena taking out the enemies whilst avoiding their fireballs until Adyr’s health bar is depleted.

Kukajin

Location: Upper Calrath, Vestige of Ethryg.
Fighting Kukajin will require you to follow certain steps then fail her questline. You need to free her in Forsaken Fen then hire her to help you with a boss, then fail to pay her before you take down the next boss where she will then become hostile and can be found where the SkinStealer usually is in Upper Calrath. You can find how to free and hire Kukajin in the A Trace of Venom guide and she is tough hence why she is all the way down here in the post game, she will come at you with health shredding attacks none of which land gently and usually combo in so bring a shield, a fast weapon and some luck where you’ll probably die a few times until you manage to take the win.

Andreas Of Ebb

Location: Upper Calrath, Vestige of Ethryg.
Andreas of Ebb is a tricky boss to fight and one who you will take down at the end of his questline so refer to the Antanas’ Legacy guide if you aren’t familiar then get ready to be parried and poisoned throughout. Melee builds will struggle more than any other here as his riposte game is on point and correct me if I’m wrong but there aren’t any other bosses who can deflect attacks in the game meaning if you aren’t familiar with games like Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne where being parried is fairly normal it can be tough to deal with. I favoured Umbral Spells in the fight which seemed to be the most effective and cleanse the poison as soon as it lands. Andreas is a pain to deal with from start to finish and definitely up there as a top tier boss.

Tortured Prisoner

Location: Bramis Castle, Vestige of the Bloody Pilgrim.
The Tortured Prisoner will be yet another NPC who will turn into a boss if you fail her questline. You will need to progress her quest right up to the point where you get the swaddling cloth from the crib in the King’s bedroom but before you give it to her, defeat the Sundered Monarch. Refer to the A Queen’s Rest guide if you need help advancing her questline. The Tortured Prisoner can then be found out on the balcony where the 2 Ruiners were and she is a top tier Pyromancer who can zip around the arena leaving Runes which explode in a wide AOE causing both burn and ignite damage.

Eliane The Starved

Location: Revelation Depths, Vestige of Lost Berescu.
You will only be able to fight Elianne the Starved if you are going for the Umbral Ending which I recommend you doing on your 3rd playthrough. Refer to the Back to the Void guide then get ready for the toughest boss in the game who will summon tracking eyes that will shred you if you’re caught in a combo as well as bringing another boss in which will be an ethereal version of Elianne with her own health bar. Use the size of the arena to your advantage and utilise every skill you have mastered to bring Elianne down.

That’s the Lords of the Fallen Boss Hub complete, which of the bosses were the most enjoyable and who did you die to the most?.
